Everything was fine except for the TV. Some buttons on the remote were not working, so I asked for a new remote. The desk person changed the battery (which I told him wasn’t the problem) and the remote still didn’t work. He then gave me 2 other remotes and the same buttons weren’t working. I went back down and told him the TV was the problem, not the remote. He told me he would have the TV replaced first thing in the morning, as this was about 8PM. The next morning the maintenance man came up with a remote to swap out. I explained the whole story to him and told him the TV needed to be replaced and he insisted it was the remote. He left the room and I told mim emphatically “don’t bring another remote!” He came back in 10 minutes with 2 remotes! After 5 more minutes, he told me he needs to replace the TV. REALLY? He then replaced the TV and everything was fine. It only took 5 trips downstairs (the phone in the room didn’t work) and 16 hours to fix the problem, which could have been done in the first 15 minutes.
