New owners at the hotel motel, it's very basic, pet friendly and the rooms are tiny. We stayed on the way South and again on the Way back North. The hotel does serve food which was very good after a long trip. Staff were friendly and appraochable.

Not very. A few cockroaches, an the water smelled like sewers. there was a fridge, a microwave and towels and soap. But the smell of the water was just so discusting we will probably not be comming back here anymore. We booked pretty late but the man was gappy to help

We booked a queen room for Friday 30/6 by phone call on Wednesday 28/6 explaining that we would be arriving by car from Sydney on route to Birdsville’s Big Red Bash. Sam explained that he lived on the premises so a late arrival would be fine, just call him on arrival into Cunnamulla. At 6pm tonight I messaged Sam with an ETA of 10pm. With limited mobile coverage I didn’t receive a reply. I sent another message at 8.42 pm with apologies & a revised ETA of closer to 11pm. With no phone call a message was received from Sam “Booking has been canceled [sic]” You can imagine our disbelief after having travelled 840kms leaving Sydney at 5.30am. Repeated phone calls to Sam went to voicemail. This is such rude , unprofessional behavior with poor consideration for weary travelers. Book at your peril!
