This is a peculiar building with offices, flats that people live in, a small shop, a laundry and much else - as well as the flats which are let out for somebody's income. We stayed almost a week and it was generally highly satisfactory. A good sized living room, kitchen and bedroom, 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was extremely sparsely equipped but that was not really a problem if you did most of your eating out. There was a fridge, kettle, coffee-maker, hob and huge washing machine and dryer - which we couldn't work out how to use because there were no instructions around. A good, unique-to-the apartment, wifi system. Direct access to Netflix. It is very close to a Chinese quarter with lots of on-the-street eating places. Also pretty close to a park, walkable to the central cathedral and remains of Tenochtitlan/tourist area. Security was taken very seriously, with a security person constantly on each of the 2 doors and the underground garage. You had to use a key fob (worn around the neck) for getting in and out. The main problem for us was arriving early in the morning from Europe. The security man would not let us in (not his job). I had warned the people in charge what time we would be arriving but no-one was there. My phone/data would not work in Mexico and I could not log on to any internet to use WhatsApp (which seems their preferred contact mode.) So we had to hang around for some time before anyone came (30mins.) Fortunately someone was kind enough to escort my husband to a loo! So, if you book, make sure you have access sorted!
