The Manor Hotel

We cannot thank The Manor Hotel enough for turning our disastrous trip around! After a terrible experience with another provider, The Manor came to the rescue and provided us with an exceptional stay. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, festive atmosphere, beautifully decorated with Christmas trees in the hallway, which instantly made us feel welcome. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making sure all our needs were met. A special thanks to the assistant manager, Suzanne, who went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did she arrange a room for us at short notice, but she also booked a taxi to and from the wedding we were attending – her effort made a huge difference. After a long drive, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant before heading to our room. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff ensured we were well looked after. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a well-presented en-suite. It was warm and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a stressful start to our trip. The breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, providing a perfect end to our stay. Thanks to the wonderful team at The Manor, what began as a disastrous trip became a truly memorable and pleasant experience. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. A huge thank you to everyone at The Manor Hotel, especially Suzanne – you made our stay in Wales unforgettable!

I recently visited the Manor Hotel on a Sunday in September to use the Pool and Spa facilities and to have a coffee. I hadn't visited for about 6 years and had forgotten what a lovely hotel it is with welcoming staff with spectacular views. A special mention for Sheryl, the receptionist - I observed her going over and above to look after the hotel guests and she was very helpful and welcoming to me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Manor Hotel and the brilliant staff especially Sheryl.

Me and my now husband decided to book The Manor Hotel for our wedding, and it was the best decision! From the planning process to the actual day, everything was incredible. With little wedding knowledge, wedding planning was quite daunting! Luckily for us, Suzanne the wedding co-ordinator worked closely with us, and was so incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much for Suzanne or any of the staff, and I cannot begin to thank them enough. Thanks to them, our day was wonderful. Highlights: staff helpfulness, communication, menu, food (amazing!!), location, cleanliness, atmosphere, views. I would highly recommend The Manor Hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue!

Stayed for afternoon tea, one vegan one vegetarian and it was really nice! Lovely views and light dining room, easy, relaxed and great value “. Great selection of cakes, scones and good coffee, kind staff and space. Will be back on our next visit for sure!

We held our mothers funeral here and were deeply impressed. The hotel was very accommodating to our needs. We requested homemade savouries and cakes for the buffet. Everyone who attended the funeral was very impressed with the food. Mostly the scotch eggs and sausage rolls (would highly recommend you add this to any buffet). There was plenty of choice and even spares to take home. The hotel staff were quick and efficient in serving everyone and made sure the tea and coffees kept flowing. We were pleased that the hotel held the terrace and restaurant for the wake which meant we had plenty of space. Each area was cosy and both have the most amazing views of the mountains. Would definitely book again for an event, we are looking forward to our Sunday lunch next week.

Stayed at the manor travelling for a family wedding. Rooms were clean and adequate, comfy beds, decent linen, Mountain view. Bathroom a little tired - obviously water pressure issue which can’t be helped. Bottled water, biscuits and plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries. Good lounge and bar seating areas. Grounds need attention but the views are amazing. Food was good but very small portions. Breakfast was poor first day - better second day. Great value for money.
