We stayed at the Home2 Suites in Glen Mills while visiting nearby Longwood Gardens from out of state. This is a fairly new hotel down Route 1 from Longwood. It is also near the restaurants of Chadds Ford and other local attractions. We've been debating between a 4 or 5 rating for this hotel, but have landed on a ”5” with an explanation. This is an excellent hotel, but not a luxury hotel. This hotel pretty much ticks all the boxes. It has convenient and free parking out front. The check-in was friendly and easy. The lobby has a fresh but also retro mid-century modern feel, which was a change of pace from some blander chains. Our room had a similar feel, but also lots of traveler-friendly features such as a kitchenette with dishes, lots of plugs and outlets, a couch where you could actually see the large flat panel tv, free wi-fi (which every hotel should have), a large bathroom, plentiful counter space, etc. Breakfast is included in the price. It isn't especially fancy, but included an egg dish, various breads, coffee, juices, cereal, some fruit, and basically everything we would have had at home. We would happily stay here again.

We just stayed one night after being at Longwood Gardens until closing. We were tired and slept very well. No noise; I only knew other guests were there because I saw them. The showers were hot, the room was cool, my daughters loved the two-room studio and it was a great way to end the holidays and a road trip. I am confident we will be back - it is only a two hour drive from home.

Das Frühstück war Ihre Standardmesse. Schrauben, gepulverte Eier und Sauce oder Bacon, und machen Ihre eigenen Waffeln. Kaffee, Saftwahlen, Bagels und verpackte Süßigkeiten. Es war gut und es macht für ein schnelles und bequemes Essen. Das WIFI auf unserem Stock war schrecklich! In diesem alten Tag ist das nicht hinnehmbar! Ich habe den Computer im Frühstücksbereich benutzt, um unseren ausgehenden Flug zu schaffen! Das Gebäude wird verdaut, aber es gab Bauarbeiten, so dass sie vielleicht aktualisieren. Das Badezimmer hatte keinen Fan oder keine Handtücher. Leider scheint es, dass Menschen die Dusche Gartenschleife verwendet, da es sich nach unten dreht und Sie wirklich Anpassungen zu machen, um einen nassen Boden zu vermeiden. Es gibt keine Handbücher für die körperlich Behinderten. Das Ein- und Ausgehen aus diesem schleifenden Bad ist schwierig. Unser Toilettentank hatte einen Leck und musste häufig Wasser wiederladen. Schließlich ist das HVAV gut und es ist auch laut. Aber wenn Sie viel reisen, ist dies ziemlich häufig. Ein zusätzlicher Hinweis. Wir entschieden, dass wir wirklich keine Miete brauchen und würden Lyft/Uber verwenden. Es funktionierte gut, aber es gibt selten ein Auto in der Nähe. Wir sorgten dafür, dass wir Zeit für die Auswahl. Wegen seiner Lage und der typischen Lage eines Hotels dieser Rangfolge würde ich noch einmal dort bleiben.
