Esencia Hotel and Villas

A side trip to Santa Teresa was a last-minute decision and after quickly scanning the options I chose the Esencia Hotel and Villas. I am happy I did. This property is located closer to the end of the strip. The rooms are clean comfortable. The grounds are expertly landscaped and beautiful. A wonderfully refreshing pool area is available. I stayed two nights, but as the original plan was only one night, I stayed in a room at the top of the hill, while the second night I stayed in a villa. Both were charming. Unfortunately it seems this platform will allow you to upload pictures but not videos. The only drawback to staying in a room at the top of the hill is that I was not able to drive as close to the room as I might like. So if you have a fair amount of luggage, be aware that you will have to carry it 50 yards or so. With the villa I was able to park right in front. The front desk staff was very helpful. There was easy access to the beach. And numerous dining options, a short walk away. The villa that I stayed in had a separator between the king size bed, and the twin beds, thus offering privacy. I honestly can’t say anything negative. Our villa was clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with all kinds of wildlife. The pool is very relaxing and warm. The staff are top notch, from the reception to the cleaning. Absolutely loved our stay here. Lots of restaurants close by and a grocery store right down the road. Would recommend n

This is a great place to stay in Santa Teresa. I just had a great time in one of the pool view rooms. You are up on a hill so the noise of the street can't be heard from the room and perfice for a post surf nap. The staff is friendly and very accommodating! Security and cleaning is top-notch. It was great to wake up and walk across the street to world-class surfing!
