Fuego Lodge ★★★

"Set in beautiful gardens up a side road (with parking), this lodge is brilliantly located (if you have a car) to explore the beaches and villages of the southern Nicoya area. Our room was right opposite the warm pool, with loungers and tables and chairs. There was plenty of storage space for clothes, a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept well. Yes, there is a new apartment being built over the road, but the work is being done during the day and mostly by hand (it’s not like a massive construction site on the Costa del Sol!) and it did not bother us at all. The room stayed cool (with the A/C) and almost completely bug free (the door fitted really well). We enjoyed watching squirrels and humming birds just outside our room (No. 5 a quadruple room with two double beds). The breakfast choices were all delicious (we tried them all!) and the staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks go to Ania, who gave excellent advice about our journeys to and from the lodge and who recommended some fantastic restaurants. The yoga deck was an added bonus, with daily classes; Carlotta’s flow in particular, was Devine."

"Sie blieb eine Woche im Wohnzimmer und hatte eine schöne, stressfreie Erfahrung umgeben von Natur, Yoga und Abenteuer. Die Unterkunft war das, was ich nennen würde “Bogie rustic” komfortable und gemütlich mit AC, Deckenfans, offene Dusche und eine Küchenzeile. Der schöne grüne Pool war perfekt mit der natürlichen Umgebung vermischt und war immer sauber, wie alle Unterkünfte. Das Essen war frisch, gesund und absolut fantastisch. Während ich nicht an einem formalen Rückzug teilnahm, war ich glücklich genug, um Yoga-Klassen und eine unglaubliche floating sound Bad Meditation Erfahrung während meines Aufenthalts zu genießen, was die Reise noch besonderer machte. Die meisten, die Eigentümer, Kristen & Donavan sind wirklich wunderschön freundlich, echt, und schöne Menschen, die eine solche willkommene Atmosphäre schaffen. Ob Sie nach einer friedlichen Getaway suchen oder hoffen, einen erstaunlichen Yoga-Retrakt zu besuchen, ist dies der perfekte Ort, um zu regroupieren, zu erfrischen, wieder mit der Natur zu verbinden und Ihre Seele wiederzuladen."

"Das Hotel Tropico Latino war ein Traum! Mein Freund (jetzt Verlobter) und ich sind gerade von hier zurückgekommen und haben uns während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts verlobt. Das Personal war unglaublich – sie halfen meinem Freund, mich mit einem Zimmer-Upgrade zu überraschen, hielten seinen Plan geheim und schenkten uns sogar eine Flasche Champagner! Besonders Yefferzon, Byron und Andres waren so nett zu uns. Wir übernachteten nach unserer Verlobung in einer der Glamping-Suiten und waren super überrascht, wie toll die Klimaanlage war und wie sauber die Zimmer waren. Insbesondere bemerkten wir, dass dieses Hotel entspannter ist und weniger Partystimmung hat als einige der anderen in der Nähe, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Restaurant ist auch fantastisch, wir haben dort mehrmals gegessen (ganz zu schweigen davon, dass die Cocktails HERVORRAGEND waren). Ich habe ein paar Yoga-Stunden in ihrem wunderschönen Studio am Strand gemacht und wir haben die Massagen in ihrem Spa wirklich genossen. Wir haben all unseren Freunden von unserer Reise erzählt und planen, sehr bald mit ein paar anderen Paaren zurückzukehren. Wir können dieses Hotel wirklich nicht genug empfehlen, der Ort ist wunderschön und alle Mitarbeiter waren so freundlich. Werde bestimmt bald wiederkommen!"

"Das Hotel hat uns super gefallen, wunderschöne kleine Bungalows die toll eingerichtet sind, tolles Frühstück das auf die Terasse gebracht wird und ein wunderbarer kleiner Pool den wir fast alleine hatten. Top Empfehlung, echt ein Ort zum Entspannen."
