Had to go to the jubilee hospital and this hotel was ideal in location, connected to the main hospital. It was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again. Food at the restaurant was also good

Be aware when booking for a Saturday particularly. I was in room 227 which is more or less directly above the the Events Area and there was a party in full swing from 20:00 to 01:00, the music was very very loud and completely overpowering. I understand it is Xmas and the Golden Jubilee hosts many Private Functions etc but a word at check in from Reception would have been nice or maybe even place guests as far as possible away from the Function Room as there are 4 floors of guest rooms. Cannot fault the room and Beautiful Hotel otherwise but I would enquire at check in especially at the Weekend regarding any functions going on and steer clear of 227 and surrounding rooms.

Hotel has plenty of facilities and space. Breakfast excellent and restaurant food very good and value for money but service a little haphazard on both occasions we used restaurant. Room excellent vfm,spacious, clean and very comfortable bed.

Lovely place,shame that the jacuzzi wasn't working but spent lots of time in the pool and sauna. The breakfast was really nice and the river view completed the stay. Close to many restaurants and shops. A nice getaway to just relax

Clean hotel, great sleep and staff very helpful

Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Reception was quick and efficient. Room was very clean, spacious and had coffee-making facilities and the bathroom had a big walk in shower. The whole hotel looked very good and the pretty christmas decorations made the place look very festive. The restaurant was well laid out and staff were efficient. Signs directed you wherever you needed to go and i was extremely impressed with the hotel adjoining the Jubilee Hospital, so we were able to walk straight through for an appointment. Nicest hotel and hospital I've been in for a long time.

We both had the fish that was very dry and bland.. Breakfast is a poor buffet..No hot water in the morning.. We stayed here in February and the food was a lot better then..

Easy accessible. Found restaurant and room quite chilly for this time of year.

The hotel is situated perfectly if you need to visit or stay for patients in the hospital. The cleanliness was top notch alongside exceptionally friendly and genuinely smiling staff..

A mixed bag. Rooms are modern and spacious, plenty of car parking and everything is well cleaned. Access to the hotel could be more clearly signposted, you’ll see NHS signs for the hospital areas even if you’re approaching from the Hotel Car Park side. There’s clearly plumbing issues with the property - there were two ceiling leaks in the lobby when we visited but by far the worst issue was a shower that can’t drain properly, we wound up with a flooded bathroom and couldn’t make much use of it. Staff couldn’t care less - reported the issue and received more towels rather than an offer of a useable room. Same at checkout, with no offerof recompense for a sub-standard stay.

Comfortable and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff who are very attuned to the needs of the patients and their families using the hotel while attending the hospital next door. We have stayed there on a number of occasions, and while the the food served in the restaurant was excellent a suggestion for improvement would be to change the dinner menu from time to time.

This is our second visit to the hotel. All facilities, meals and staff are excellent I would highly recommend
