Das Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen, man ist direkt auf der Autobahn und trotzdem ist es ruhig. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet, kommen aber in die Jahre. Etwas frische Farbe und eine leichte Renovierung wären nötig. Mir haben die zwei kleinen Einzelbetten nicht gefallen, ein Doppelbett ist bequemer und eigentlich standard in Van der Falk Häusern. Hier hinkt dieses Hotel etwas hinterher. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut und preiswert, gute Bierauswahl in der Bar. Frühstück ist auch gut wenn auch nicht so umfangreich wie in anderen Häusern.

First of all the Hotel was on an Industrial Estate which we didn't expect from the photos. The service at reception was good but it went hill from there. The room was dusty everywhere and there was hair on the duvet. The pillow was awful and lumpy. On checking it the pillow had no pillow protector on and it was badly stained so my husband phoned down to reception and got me a brand new pillow. The breakfast in the morning was not the greatest and we were surprised that you couldn't even make toast. To make matters worse this hotel was more expensive than the hotels we normally stay in as it looked nice on the website. Very disappointing stay.

Das Hotel ist sehr zufrieden und eignet sich sehr gut für selbstfahrende Touren. Wir haben gerade ein Auto gemietet und es auf die andere Seite der Windmühle der Kinder gefahren. Das Frühstück war nicht im Zimmerpreis enthalten, aber ich wusste nicht, wie ich uns zwei Frühstücke schicken sollte, die auch sehr lecker waren. Obwohl die Hoteleinrichtungen alt sind, ist die Gesundheit ausgezeichnet und die Umgebung ist auch sehr gut

Das Hotel ist in den letzten 9 Jahren regelmäßig auf Geschäftsreisen zu besuchen, so haben Sie einen ziemlich guten Vergleich, wie es sich in den Jahren veränderte. 1. Personal an der Rezeption ist hart und nicht hilfreich. Ich wollte auf 01/02 anmelden und wurde mit ”was Sie wollen” in Englisch von lang blonde Haarfrau auf dem Vordertafel begrüßt.... Kein Hallo oder guter Nachmittag. 2. Kein Restaurantmenü im Zimmer oder online verfügbar. Ich konnte es nicht im Zimmer so genannte Front Desk. Die Dame am Rezeption sagte mir, nach unten zu gehen, ein Foto des Menüs und bestellen Sie nach unten oder telefonisch. Angesichts der Zimmerservice ist hier ziemlich teuer, ist das ziemlich lächerlich. 3. Keine Sicherheit hinsichtlich der Gepäcklagerung - „verlassen Sie, nehmen Sie, was Sie wollen“ Ansatz. Fehlende Namenstags oder ähnliches. 3. Qualität der im Restaurant servierten Mahlzeiten ist gesunken 4. Schön, die Hotelzimmer endlich mit dem schönen Re-Touch zu sehen und das super freundliche Nachmittagsrestaurant und Barteam ist noch da und ändert sich nicht über die Jahre.

Stayed here for one evening and enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the excellent front-desk service. The location seemed isolated from town. While it had AC, I couldn’t get the room to feel cool as the thermostat only allows for changes of +/- 3 degrees from whatever central temp they have programmed. While I wasn’t a fan of the service in the restaurant, I was happy in the hotel and bar.

Accueil digne d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Equipe de réception très professionnelle tout comme l'ensemble du personnel de cet hôtel que je n'hésiterai pas à classer comme meilleur Ibis Styles fréquenté ces dernières années. Certes, c'est hôtel très récent mais on peut aisément constaté qu'il a été conçu avec des équipements et des matériaux de très bonnes qualités. La décoration (hall, bar, restaurant, chambres) réalisée avec goût sans oublier l'aspect confort que certains architectes oublient lors de la conception de certains hôtels. Le service est lui aussi très professionnel et courtois tant au bar, au restaurant et lors du petit déjeuner. Le restaurant (italien) propose des mets variés et qualitatifs. On ressent l'envie de satisfaire et de bien faire. Belle petite carte des vins. Merci spécial au manager Eliott. Le petit déjeuner proposé est lui aussi très varié et riche (cela change du traditionnel petit déjeuner standard et pauvre des hôtels Ibis en France). Les chambres sont bien équipées et joliment décorées. L'hôtel est situé face à la salle omnisport et concerts de Ahoy. Parking payant jouxtant l'hôtel. 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Zuidplein qui vous permet de rejoindre la gare de Rotterdam Centraal en un peu plus de 10 minutes et l'hyper centre de Rotterdam en 5 minutes. En conclusion, même si nous avons la chance de fréquenter plutôt des hôtels premium je qualifierai l'IBIS Styles Ahoy comme un des meilleurs hôtel fréquenté depuis 25 ans dans le groupe Accor. I was here for business and found that the hotel was very accessible and convenient. The Ahoy Rotterdam conference center was a mere 30mins stroll away and you can also find a decent shopping mall about 20mins stroll away. Plenty of food choices (halal and non halal) available across the hotel. Room was clean and spacious but the area could get abit quiet at night. The nearest metro station is 5mins away and it will take you to the centre of the city within 10 mins. Very convenient stay!
