A great place to stay with a country feel - there is a functional dairy onsite. Our triple room was so big and functionally laid out compared to many other places we have stayed - we were in the newer part of the guesthouse. Our room had a great view of the mountains/glacier. The onsite bistro was so convenient, and food was tasty and affordable. They even offer a packed lunch (additional cost). Staff were extremely friendly, and provided complementary coffee/tea all day. There are even separate sitting/lounge areas throughout the guesthouse where you can relax, and a separate kitchen area for guests to use (including fridge). I would definitely stay here again.

Wir haben eine Nacht geblieben. Das Gasthaus ist sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind nett und komfortabel. Die Küche ist geräumig und wie eine neue Marke. Die Küche ist auch sehr gut ausgestattet, wenn Sie ein richtiges Abendessen oder Frühstück bereiten möchten. Hofn ist eine 10-minütige Fahrt entfernt und es gibt einen guten Supermarkt.

Das Zimmer ist klein, aber die Küche und Toilette sind gut. Die Aussicht auf das Hostel ist gut, aber es gibt viele Pferde Scheiße um das Hostel.

Das Hotel ist grossartig. Das Personal sind sehr freundlich, das Zimmer mit Oceanview ist grossartig! Geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit Sitzecke mit toller Aussicht. In diesem Hotel haben sich Designer ausgetobt. Alles passt perfekt in die Landschaft. Das Design im Hotel ist sehr gut umgesetzt. Auch eine Kaffeemaschine (mit cups) war im Hotelzimmer vorhanden. Die Sauna mit den Hot Tubs war nach dem Dauerregen eine Wohltat. Die Cocktails zur Happy Our waren geschmacklich toll (isländische Cocktails wählten wir) und extrem lecker. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Abendessen war so Klasse!!! Wir haben hier das beste Lamm ever gegessen. Aber auch die Vorspeisen und Fischgerichte sind grossartig. Hiermit ein Dank und Gruß an die fantastische Küche.

Das Servicepersonal besteht aus einem Mann und einer Frau, die sehr verführerisch sind und meine Gesichtskontrolle sehr nützlich machen. Die Service-Einstellung ist auch enthusiastischer als die allgemeine Rezeption. Das Frühstück ist gut, es gibt viele Rassen und es gibt süße kleine Hirten, die besonders klug und brav sind. Die Zimmerausstattung ist komplett, die Raumdekoration ist ebenfalls neu, kostenlose Parkplätze, dies wird empfohlen.

1. ) Das ist NICHT ein 3-Sterne-Hotel. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schlank. 2.) Das Personal warnte uns nicht über die Sandflies im Bereich beim Einchecken. Mitternacht war unser Zimmer mit diesen Bugs, die Bitt und Juckreiz infiziert. Wir mussten Mitte der Nacht verlassen, um unsere Rückkehr nach Reykjavik zu machen, um diese Situation zu entkommen. 3.) Es gab eine Menge Pferdedünger außerhalb unseres Fensters sowie, die war erstaunlich und wahrscheinlich verschwommen das Sandflugproblem. Ich habe den Besitzern eine E-Mail geschickt und nie eine Antwort gehört.

因為約了第二天去看冰洞，發現這裏離集合地點才46公里，雖然是要走回頭路，因為價格算是性價比最高的了，於是就訂下來了。 晚上10點才到冰河湖，拍照後到酒店已經11點半，發現酒店後面就是一個大冰川，從房間的窗户就完全可以看到躺在床上還發現屋頂上有一個天窗，躺在床上就能看星空和極光！ 空間確實有點小（冰島酒店的普遍現象！），但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，我們在房間做了晚餐。浴室裏有地暖，很不錯👍

A nice retreat in a quiet part of Iceland. We spent 2 nights here on our recent trip to Iceland. The cabins are just a short drive from Hofn, where you can find groceries, restaurants and a well equipped public pool (we highly recommend checking it out, our 2yo had a blast there with the baby water slide). The best bonus? A same day laundry service in town to help us wash all our winter gear before we continue on the second half of our trip! We stayed at the family cabin, the set up is 1 queen size bed and 1 twin bed in the sectioned off bedroom with a door. There is another twin bed opposite the bathroom. There is a studio apartment style kitchen with a dinner table, some simple seasonings, and an outdoor gas grill. We managed to cook our meals here easily for the 2 nights we stayed. The cabins are quiet, we enjoyed the scenery. The water heater had plenty of water for our family of three. The radiators kept us cozy and warm all night, we didnt even need blankets. We felt very relaxed here and would return should we find ourselves in Iceland again.

Clean, spacious, well equipt, family friendly and good customer service! 😊 Tough times are a blessing in disguise, it always reveals the true color of the people around us. We planned to stay in 2020 however Covid happened. Team was very understanding and accommodating to our predicament. It was a happy surprise to find premise exceeding our expectations too! Shoes are well organised with rack and oraginsers neatly stacked at entrance. Reception was friendly and informative. Room was clean and neat. In room wash basin was a big plus! There were 2 spacious and well equipt WCs to our section of 6-8rooms. 2 spacious dining areas, 1 large double fridge, 1 single fridge, spacious well equipt kitchen with various prep tables and 2-3+ sinks, pots/pans of various sizes, kitchen towels, utensils, cutleries, hot water dispenser, toaster, coffee percolator, sandwich press, oven, microwave, beverages and absolutely all one needs in the kitchen and more are furnished. It is also children friendly with baby chair, cot and safe play area provided. Rooms are well sectioned with family rooms assigned at the back, away from the hustle and bustle. There are also rooms in basement. There is also a washer/dryer and small drying rack at the far end, past kitchens and book cabinet with reading materials for the avid reader. We had a good comfortable night stay and hope you do too! 🙂
