We stayed here for one night and found to be comfortable enough. Located in centre of Selfoss only minutes away from the local shops and 15 minutes drive from Kerid crater. It’s on the camping ground offering something for all. For the price you pay can’t really complaint about the place. The staff is very polite and friendly, ample parking, cottages are big enough for a quick stay during a road trip. When we entered the cottage we had a stale smell which eventually went away once we settled in or we got used to it. It is maintained to a good standard but could do with a bit of maintenance on door and windows. Has basic amenities for a self catering stay. We opted for the one with shower, clean with toiletries and fresh towels provided. Every time we ran the water the sink and the drains would stink, may be could be improved. Overall a good and comfortable stay.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das Hotel gut eingerichtet. Man hatte eine sehr große Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Schade, dass man das den SPA Bereich extra zahlen musste. Alle Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren fusßläufig zu erreichen. Perfekt für die erste Nacht in Island.

Großes Hotel am Platz, sehr zentral gelegen, alles was in Selfoss interessant sein könnte ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet, sauber und hell. Der Stil befremdet etwas, ist aber Geschmachssache. Viele amerikanische Bustouristen, was es etwas laut auf dem Flur und beim Frühstück macht. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, enorme Auswahl für Island! Drumherum gibt es verschiedenste gastronomische Angebote, besonders empfehlenswert ist der Kurde schräg über der Straße. Das Personal könnte ein wenig herzlicher sein, war aber nicht unfreundlich. Alles in allem sehr gut, schönes Angebot, absolut sauber und korrekt, empfehlenswert.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und es ist sehr leicht zu finden. Es befindet sich gegenüber der Tankstelle, dem Supermarkt und dem KFC. Unten befindet sich das Geschäft 66. Hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein kostenloser Parkplatz. Wir hatten eine Suite mit vier Betten und einem Schlafsofa, aber wir lebten nur für drei Personen, was ein bisschen extravagant wirkte, hahaha. Die Toiletten sind auch groß und sehr komfortabel zu bedienen. Die Küchenausstattung war auch sehr komplett. Obwohl wir nutzlos waren, sah es gut aus. Das kleine Mädchen, das eingecheckt hat, hat schätzungsweise nicht genügend Erfahrung (sieht aber wirklich gut aus, blond). Ich habe zum ersten Mal Leute wie uns getroffen, die schlechtes Englisch haben, also war ich zu Beginn der Kommunikation müde. Obwohl ich es später herausgefunden habe, war es immer noch aufrichtig Es wird empfohlen, dass das kleine Mädchen auf einfachere Weise Englisch spricht oder einige englische Erinnerungen frühzeitig herausnimmt (wir finden später Papiere mit englischen Erinnerungen).

Ausgezeichneter Ort zum Aufenthalt. Das Hostel ist beatend und gemütlich. Sehr sauber. Die Zimmer und Betten sind geräumig. Sie bieten kostenlose Bettwäsche und Handtücher, es gibt auch kostenloses Essen und Toiletten von anderen Gästen. Es ist sehr ruhig und freundlich. 100% empfehlenswert. Ich habe 3 Nächte geblieben und hätte länger geblieben. Sie brauchen definitiv ein Auto, um umzuziehen, aber es ist ziemlich nahe an den meisten Orten. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um zu bleiben, wenn Sie etwas etwas von der Stadt und der Schranken bis zur Natur bevorzugen

Sistemazione incantevole, molto accogliente e carina. Dispone di un frigorifero ma non c'è una cucina condivisa quindi per la colazione e la cena uno deve organizzarsi direttamente in stanza oppure cenare fuori. Facile da raggiungere passando davanti alla cascata Urriđafoss che meritano una sosta. Consigliata!

Sehr sauber, selbsthilfengemacht (in der Datentasche der Rezeption eingetragene Namensschild), es gibt einen Rahmen in die Tür, die Schüssel kann nicht eindringen, also denken Sie daran, mit einem Schleier zu gehen. Es gibt eine Tür, aber es gibt keine Schleife unterhalb, sodass das Wasser ausfließt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Im Allgemeinen wird es den Freunden empfohlen.

GGuest UserDie Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das Hotel gut eingerichtet. Man hatte eine sehr große Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Schade, dass man das den SPA Bereich extra zahlen musste. Alle Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren fusßläufig zu erreichen. Perfekt für die erste Nacht in Island.

GGuest UserEs ist ein isländisches ländliches Haus mit vielen Zimmern und einer großen Küche und einem gemeinsamen Essen. Außerdem hat es mehrere gemeinsame Räume wie ein sehr schönes und ruhiges Wohnzimmer mit großen Fenstern, um die Außenseite zu sehen. Weil wir im Juni reisen, als es noch viele Einschränkungen gab, um das Land zu betreten und es wenig Tourismus gab, hatten wir das Haus für uns allein! Unglaublich, es war großartig! Die Besitzer waren uns zu jeder Zeit sehr nett. Es ist eine halbe Stunde im Hella-Auto, von wo wir einen Bus nehmen, um den Tag in Landmannalauguar zu verbringen (100% empfehlenswert Ausflug). Umgekehrt entspannen wir uns im Hot Tub, das Sie im Garten haben! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ausgezeichneter Ort zum Aufenthalt. Das Hostel ist beatend und gemütlich. Sehr sauber. Die Zimmer und Betten sind geräumig. Sie bieten kostenlose Bettwäsche und Handtücher, es gibt auch kostenloses Essen und Toiletten von anderen Gästen. Es ist sehr ruhig und freundlich. 100% empfehlenswert. Ich habe 3 Nächte geblieben und hätte länger geblieben. Sie brauchen definitiv ein Auto, um umzuziehen, aber es ist ziemlich nahe an den meisten Orten. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um zu bleiben, wenn Sie etwas etwas von der Stadt und der Schranken bis zur Natur bevorzugen

GGastnutzerPrior to our trip, we read some of the reviews and there were a couple that wrote, ”it's in the middle of nowhere”, and ”there's nothing to do there” and we looked at each other and said, ”that's exactly where we want to be”! Nothing to do but sit in the hot tub and watch the starry skies and even see some Northern Lights, eat some great food, and get ready to adventure around the Golden Circle. We had suite #8 which featured an electric fireplace, and a private hot tub located right out the back door! Very cozy and the staff were all amazing! We will definitely stay with them again!

GGuest UserGroßes Hotel am Platz, sehr zentral gelegen, alles was in Selfoss interessant sein könnte ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet, sauber und hell. Der Stil befremdet etwas, ist aber Geschmachssache. Viele amerikanische Bustouristen, was es etwas laut auf dem Flur und beim Frühstück macht. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, enorme Auswahl für Island! Drumherum gibt es verschiedenste gastronomische Angebote, besonders empfehlenswert ist der Kurde schräg über der Straße. Das Personal könnte ein wenig herzlicher sein, war aber nicht unfreundlich. Alles in allem sehr gut, schönes Angebot, absolut sauber und korrekt, empfehlenswert.

SSeaside27880083098We had a nice night at Country Dream. Our room although not large, was comfortable. we had 1 bedroom and a pull out sofa.... but wait.... The pull out sofa was not like any normal one where you have to pull everything off and have a bar in your back, it was a case of simply pulling a cord and the whole sofa turned upside down into a bed that was as comfortable as the bed in the bedroom. It took 20 seconds to pull out the bed and 20 seconds to put it back the next morning. The room had a small kitchenette which was adequate for cooking a simple meal. There was also a hot tub available to use with our room. As a bonus, we were invited to go into the stable to visit the owner's very friendly Icelandic horses. He also organised for a beautiful Icelandic Sheepdog to come and visit us. Country Dream is on a horse farm about 5 - 15 minutes drive from the main road between Geysir and Selfoss depending on the conditions. In the right conditions, it would give a great opportunity to see the Northern lights. If you are staying here in winter, I recommend that you ask your rental car company to provide you with a car with metal beads (studs) in the tyres as the road was very icy when we left due to rainfall and freezing temperatures.

GGuest UserDie Lage ist sehr gut und es ist sehr leicht zu finden. Es befindet sich gegenüber der Tankstelle, dem Supermarkt und dem KFC. Unten befindet sich das Geschäft 66. Hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein kostenloser Parkplatz. Wir hatten eine Suite mit vier Betten und einem Schlafsofa, aber wir lebten nur für drei Personen, was ein bisschen extravagant wirkte, hahaha. Die Toiletten sind auch groß und sehr komfortabel zu bedienen. Die Küchenausstattung war auch sehr komplett. Obwohl wir nutzlos waren, sah es gut aus. Das kleine Mädchen, das eingecheckt hat, hat schätzungsweise nicht genügend Erfahrung (sieht aber wirklich gut aus, blond). Ich habe zum ersten Mal Leute wie uns getroffen, die schlechtes Englisch haben, also war ich zu Beginn der Kommunikation müde. Obwohl ich es später herausgefunden habe, war es immer noch aufrichtig Es wird empfohlen, dass das kleine Mädchen auf einfachere Weise Englisch spricht oder einige englische Erinnerungen frühzeitig herausnimmt (wir finden später Papiere mit englischen Erinnerungen).
