Wir haben alles über dieses Hotel geliebt !! Wir haben 2 Nächte geblieben .. Familie von 5 mit 3 Jugendlichen . Nach der Ankunft konnte Elena nicht mehr willkommen, informativ über Restaurants und Orte zu besuchen in der Gegend und nur insgesamt ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und ein gewaltiges Kredit an das Hotel gewesen sein. Wir hatten ein Wohnzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Campingbett unten und einem Doppelbett oben . Die Matratzen waren super komfortable und wir alle schliefen toll! Die AC war auch hervorragend! Bei der Ankunft 𝐸𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑎 sagte uns, dass das Frühstück etwas Besonderes war, aber ich war nicht für die erstaunlichste Verbreitung am nächsten Morgen bereit (Fotos beigefügt!) Die sehr große Menge und Vielfalt an leckeren Lebensmitteln war unreal und als ich fragte, was passiert ist mit allen Sie sagte mir, sie geben sie jeden Tag an eine Wohltätigkeit, um die Menschen zu ernähren, die sie brauchen. Es war einfach das beste Frühstück, das wir auf dieser Reise nach 3 Tagen in Athen, 6 auf der Insel Spetses und 7 Reisen rund um den Peloponnesen getroffen haben. Ich möchte auch die wunderschönen Wächter am Frühstück erwähnen .. sie konnten nicht genug für uns tun und die glatte, die sie allen serviert waren, war sublime ! Das Wasser auf dem Tisch wurde mit Mässlime und Ginger infundiert ! 𝐸𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑎 Sie selbst hat ein riesiges Wissen über die Region und hat uns hervorragende Empfehlungen, welche archäologischen Orte zu besuchen (Mycenae, Epidaurus und Pallamidi) und welche lokalen Restaurants waren besten .. Fabelhafte ein 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel am Meeresfront, wo wir leckere Schalenfrüchte hatten. Sie empfahl auch einen großen Pizzaplatz in Napflio Il Porto, der die Kinder sagten, war erstaunlich! Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, werden wir definitiv auf den Alexandros bleiben! Ich wünsche allen Mitarbeitern viel Erfolg und danke ihnen für einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt .

We very nearly didn't stay here because of the poor reviews. Our experience was excellent. Beautifully positioned, with outstanding views from the balconies and within a few minutes of lovely cafes, restaurants and the town square. Our bedroom was huge with spa bath, seperate toilet and shower and double wash basin. Bed very comfortable and the balcony with those amazing views! Breakfast was plentiful and all staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the 1st floor so had the potential to be noisy with adjacent road, but we heard nothing. Also, the balcony y here was very sheltered should there be winds. Yes there are a lot if switches to manage lighting/ curtains but you soon get used to these. I have already recommended this hotel to others - and we only left a couple of days ago!

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit toller Aussichtslage. Ein Teil des Hotels war wohl geschlossen. Wir hatten uns in den Villas eingebucht (Zimmer mit Meerblick). Sehr schöne Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da uns das zugeteilte Zimmer nicht so gut gefiel konnten wir aus verschiedenen anderen Zimmern auswählen. Das Restaurant bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht. Das Frühstück war ok. Wir aßen einmal zu Abend, das Restaurant wurde ja sehr gepriesen für die Küche und Qualität. Es ist etwas hochpreisiger. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte hier für uns nicht. Es wird Live-Pianomusik gespielt. Dies ist natürlich Geschmacksache. Das wirre, teils nicht gut gespielte Potpourri von Ave Maria über (abgedroschene) Opernarien bis hin zu griechischen Klängen und lateinamerikanischen Klängen könnte zwar ein tolles Repertoire zeigen, wirkte aber wahllos und beliebig nacheinander runtergespielt.

Wir haben für 2 Nächte in no5 Suite mit Meerblick im Juni reserviert. Ausgezeichnet gelegen, in der alten Stadt Nafplio, mit sehr angenehmen Dingen, immer reizend und zur Verfügung, um Sie zu leiten. Die Zimmer sind gründlich gereinigt, mit modernen Details, die Schönheit dieses neoklassischen Gebäudes verbessert. Das Frühstück war voller Optionen und die Aussicht war der beste Teil der Nacht, genießen unsere Weine auf dem Balkon. Ich schlage es ohne Zweifel vor.

Ein großes Beispiel für den wachsenden Stil der ”modernen” erkennbaren Gästehäuser, die die Kluft zwischen einem voll servierten Hotel und einem Wohnhaus füllen. Diese geschmackvoll umgewandelte venezianische Burg befindet sich in einem zentralen Teil von Nafplio mit allen Einrichtungen, Geschäfte und Restaurants auf Ihrem Türsteg. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gut größer und Betten komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist eine Freude und in einem kleinen Hof genommen. Alles Personal ist willkommen, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir lieben hier zu bleiben und werden bald wieder sein!

There were six of us in our group (3 bedrooms total). If you look at the hotel from the front, the lobby is over to the left and our rooms were in the addition over to the right. There were three rooms connected by a hallway and we had all three so it was kind of nice that we were the only ones in that part of the building. The rooms were fine - European so small, but modern and clean which is all I care about. The view was nice as you're up on the hill overlooking the sea, but it's probably a better view from the floor above us as we saw a lot of the tops of buildings. We had a few problems. The first morning we woke up early to get a start on the day and the water was freezing cold. I ran outside over to the looby to let the manager know, but she doesn't usually arrive until 8AM so it was just the kitchen staff getting ready for breakfast. Through Google translate I was able to explain what was happening and they called the manager who got on the phone with a plumber. Long story short, it got fixed around 9AM so we got a late start. Rick Steve's says it's not about whether or not there are issues (there always will be) but about how the staff reacts. They were pleasant. To the left of the lobby there was a hallway and at the end was an empty room that had a deluxe bathroom. I went in and turned on the water in the shower and it was hot so apparently the issue was just on our side of the building - maybe with another water heater. Then we realized that the shower doors wouldn't stay shut so the bathroom floor was covered in water - slipping hazard. We found that the trashcan next to the toilet was broken and then that the sink was draining really slowly. The staff was able to fix the shower door almost (not 100%, but close) while we were there so that was nice. Maybe if we'd been there longer it would have been okay, but our time was so precious if we don't get an early start then there are things we just don't get to do. I guess I figure when you're a hotel hot water in a shower is a basic expectation. Also, there was no ”Hey, we know you're getting a late start so breakfast is on us,” or, ”Hey, we have an empty room with a functioning shower - why don't you use that room so everybody can get clean and you can start your day.” It was more along the lines of... we have a plumber and he'll be here soon. One last thing, they did have a laundry service and they took our clothes at 10PM and we had all three bags back (dry and folded) the next morning around 8AM for 30 euros so I give them credit for that. Would I stay there again? I really don't know. There seemed to be a lot of hotels around and we were there in the off-season so there seemed to be plenty of vacancies. If I'm realistic I think I'd actually hunt around online a bit to see if we could get into a better hotel for what might be the same price.
