Mercure London Heathrow - Saturday 19th November 2022 - 15:15 Entrance is on street level door and has automatic doors. On arrival there was a coach party queuing and the queue went out the main door. I joined that queue and eventually checked in approximately 20 minutes after I joined the queue. The male receptionist seemed flustered and the female receptionist didn’t seem to be doing much. I’ve checked into other hotels where I have been part of a coach group and they normally make us all stand to one side and then call individuals/ couple over to check in; that way when other guest arrive at least one of the receptionist can switch to the new guest and then they don’t have to join a long queue and be inconvenienced. Our room was on the ground floor but I did see lifts. Room: The usual things like a hairdryer, iron in the wardrobe, fridge and safe in a cupboard and on top of the cabinet was the coffee/ tea facilities but no spoons to stir your drinks. Big TV - there seem to be a decent amount of channels my only issue was the back of the control was missing so you had to jiggle the batteries to get it to work; I took a photo just in case they try to charge me for damage. Bed was comfy, pillows were ok. There is a lamp and spotlight either side of the bed. The switch on the wall by the bed operates the main light, you switch the lamp/ spotlight off using two black buttons under the arm of the lamp; not an obvious way to control the light. A desk with lamp and phone, quite handy if you have some work to do. Bathroom: Floors a bit weird, it looks like they have stuck some Christmas paper over the original tiles to cover something up, poor workmanship, looks cheap, not a good look. Usual towels and shampoos and things; I was going to use the bath mat in the shower but when I saw how dirty and stained it was I didn’t bother. The sealant around the sink and bath taps needs redoing and there is rust around the bathroom taps. Toilet handle is a bit loose and it took 3 attempts to get it to flush. Parking: There are two levels to the parking, I drove into the top level, very tight parking and for a hotel of this size there isn’t enough spaces. I informed the reception I’d parked my car and was informed of the £16 charge for 24 hours. I paid my fee and entered my registration on a system. Bar: Small bar but plenty of seating. We asked a member of staff at what time the bar closed and we were told last orders were at 22:45 which would imply if you went to the bar at this time you could still get a drink. At 22:40 they were cashing up the till. Initially when you walk in the room it looks really nice but then you notice the faults. This morning I went to get something from the car and as I walked through reception you could see the tables from last night hadn’t been cleared as they still had glasses on tables from last night. Overall it was average, initially the room looked lovely but on closer inspection it needs a revamp and att

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist super gut. Auf dem Campus der Universität Cambridge gibt es Frühstück. Check-out um zehn Uhr morgens, die sanitären Bedingungen sind super. Dies ist das zufriedenstellendste Hotel, in dem ich während meines Aufenthalts in Großbritannien übernachtet habe.

Sehr freundliches Paar bot mir sogar einen Teil ihres Abendessens an. Ein komfortables Zimmer mit großem Fernseher. Der Gastgeber ging aus seinem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass er alle meine Bedürfnisse erfüllt und auch die Privatsphäre, die ich brauchte, um meine Arbeit auf dem Computer zu konkurrieren.

Dieser Ort ist perfekt für Geld! Sauber, komfortable und super schönes Personal, das soooo auf meine schmutzigen Anfragen 😊 angekommen war. Es gibt sogar einen Außengarten, den Sie sitzen und genießen können, was ein Bonus für die Unterkunft ist. Ein perfekter Ort, um zu bleiben, wenn Sie nach Heathrow gehen!

We were checked in by Ali late last night & he met us again this morning & brought our bags downstairs. Our room was 204 which was a twin room, we had a powerful hot shower in the morning which is just what we needed before our flight. The room was clean, bathroom could do with a bit of superficial patchwork but for £100 last minute booking so close to Heathrow this was definitely the best deal we could find. Ali was very helpful & friendly & rang a taxi for us in the morning. Would stay here again before catching our flights.

The man is not only a stellar person, but runs a clean and secure bed and breakfast. I stayed only for a night before catching a plane back to America in the AM. I had left my had at the excellent indian restaurant right next door and he mailed it back to me!! That was the greatest gesture of decency I've had from any hotel ever. One more reason to appreciate the people of the Uk. I can't wait to return, it won't be soon enough.

Wartete eine Nacht vor dem Morgenflug von LHR Terminal 2. Was für eine angenehme Weise zu starten! Sehr freundlich und effiziente Willkommen von wunderschöner junger Dame an der Rezeption. Ein sehr komfortabeles Zimmer, mit großzügiger Gastfreundschaftskasse, schöner Kaffee und Schocks, ein erfreulicher Getränk in der Minibar. Einfach und kostenlos übernachtende Parkplätze. Hotel ist ein schönes altes Gebäude, einfach zu finden, und nur 15 Minuten von T2. Alles sauber. Die Bar war sehr willkommen, und die meisten willkommen. Hatte ein wirklich gutes Abendessen im Restaurant mit großer Service. Das Fehlen einer Weinliste und die Verfügbarkeit von Weinen, wenn man für uns gedruckt wurde, waren merkwürdig, aber es verbrachte nicht ein großes Essen. Auch das war ein großer Wert. Ein Bruchteil des Preises der Kette Hotels um Heathrow Bereich, sowohl für das Zimmer, als auch für den Essen. Wir werden unsere erste Wahl für Heathrow in Zukunft sein.

Das Zimmer war groß genug mit zwei Doppelbetten und diese waren sehr komfortabel. Das Zimmer war warm und wir mussten das Fenster offen halten, vielleicht sollten sie die Temperatur in den Zimmern senken. Das Personal war absolut brillant und freundlich, ohne Zweifel keine Fehler. Das Spa war ok. Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel und die Betten wurden nie gemacht, seit wir erst angekommen, keine frische Handtücher irgendwann ankam in das Zimmer und Zimmer oder Bin im Zimmer nie gereinigt. Das Essen in der Bar war nur ok es wäre ok, wenn Sie nur nach dem Rückkehr zum Hotel oder vor dem Abreisen einen Snack wollten. Wir kamen auf dem Sitz und saßen und Sonnennachten schliefen wir großartig, aber als die Studenten am Montag Abend wieder ankamen, konnten wir nicht mit all dem Schrei, Geräusch und Musik so laut über die Straße in dieser Unterkunft oder wo sie waren. Um es noch schlimmer zu machen, mussten wir das Fenster aufgrund des Lärms schließen und dann das Zimmer war sehr heiß. 100% für das Personal waren sie fantastisch und jeder Hotel würde gerne sie haben. In einigen Fällen lassen die Mitarbeiter das Hotel ab, aber in diesem Fall lässt das Hotel ihre Mitarbeiter durch schlechte Management ab.

Room was warm and cosy. Positioned in an ideal place just outside London but without all the hustle and bustle. Fridge in room was handy. Kindly catered for us and our 3 dogs. Large Tesco just a few minutes drive away which was handy and not too far from the A40/M40.
