Wir haben hier eine Nacht nach unserem Flug nach Liverpool Flughafen, am Ende unseres Urlaubs verblieben. Das Hotel liegt über der Straße vom Terminal Gebäude und neben dem langfristigen Flughafenparkplatz. Wir waren müde und wollten nur irgendwo eine gute Ruhe haben, bevor wir nach Hause fahren. Wir genossen, im Barlounge zu sitzen und hier eine tolle Qualität Pizza teilen. Unser Zimmer war komfortabel und hatte einen Flughafenblick. Wir hatten eine gute Nachtslebe und fühlten uns am nächsten Morgen aufgefrischt. Das Hotel bietet auch ein kostenloses Frühstücksbuffet. Wir fanden das ein wenig chaotisch, aber es war immer noch ein schöner Bonus zu haben. Insgesamt empfehlen wir dieses Hotel und werden zurückkehren, wenn wir diesen Flughafen nächstes Mal benutzen.

Stayed as could not get trains home after Liverpool football match. Very convenient for station, made really welcome by friendly staff. Good location for exploring Cheshire and Merseyside. Pleased to have found this economical hideaway.

Ich blieb hier im Juni 2021 mit meinem Partner und einigen seiner Familie, um seinen Eltern den 50. Hochzeitstag zu feiern. Es gab 15 von uns und wir hatten zunächst auch gehofft, gemeinsam im Restaurant zu essen, aber mit der Regierung entschieden, die Beschränkungen, die sie 6 bedeutete, auf einen Tisch mit nicht mehr als zwei Haushalte zusammen auszudehnen. Das Hotel enttäuscht hat beschlossen, das Restaurant mit Schokolade und den Beschränkungen als Entschuldigung zu halten, aber er sagte, wir könnten das Bar-Gebiet zu essen benutzen, aber das bedeutete, wir konnten keine Tische buchen. Es hat nicht wirklich Sinn, da die Bar-Bereich weniger Platz hat, so hätte es sinnvoller gemacht, das Restaurant mit seinem größeren Bereich zu nutzen und mehr Tische auch Frühstück dort am nächsten Tag stattgefunden, so gehen Sie Figur! Wir haben uns mal zusammen mit einem Drink zusammengesetzt, bevor wir in die Bar gingen, die ziemlich beschäftigt war, aber glücklicherweise konnten wir 3 Tische ziemlich nah zusammen und ein schönes Essen. Ich genossen das Bier! Ich kann nicht sagen, dass die Beschränkungen voll eingehalten wurden, obwohl wir in Gruppen von nicht mehr als 6 und 2 Haushalten gewöhnlich getrennt blieben, andere waren nicht, weil ich glaube, es gab eine Hochzeit, die in die Bar-Zone übergeworfen wurde. Nach unserem Essen und einem paar Getränke gingen wir zurück, um zusammen zu sein. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und die Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel wie unsere vorherigen Aufenthalte und wir hatten eine gute Nacht schlafen. Frühstück am nächsten Tag war ok, obwohl ursprünglich ein wenig unorganisiert und der Manager ein wenig schreien, weil der Toaster, der für glutenfreies Brot vorgesehen war, nur für glutenbrot verwendet wurde, aber das Zeichen war nicht vollständig auf der Anzeige, so war es ein Einfacher Fehler. Alles musste uns aufgrund der Beschränkungen serviert werden, aber das wurde durch die Abkürzung statt durch einen Tischservice, so dass soziale Entfernung eine Art von aus dem Fenster ging. Das Essen war ok, aber es war schöner bei früheren Besuchen, aber ich war nur mit dem mit der Pandemie, es gab nur einen Kampf mit allem. Trotz der anspruchsvollen Situation zu der Zeit war es schön, zusammen zu feiern, das Beste, was wir den Umständen geben konnten und wir alle genossen unsere Aufenthalte!

Was a good night sleep despite our worries when first arriving very buisy outside main roads and shopping centres but inside the room it wasn't too bad was clean and comfortable everything we needed had to get some extra tea milk and sugar but nothing to much trouble

Es muss mehr Lebensmittelwahl geben. Wartung IE-Änderungen oder Reparaturen an Türen oder Strahlern sollten nicht befördert werden, während die Gäste entspannen, arbeiten oder spät schlafen. In 2 Fällen Wartungspersonal arbeitete mehrere Stunden ruinieren meinen Aufenthalt. Sehr sehr laut.

The stay was on my way to Manchester airport. The heater in my first room was not working, but they moved me to another room All was OK with the 2nd room, until I went to use the shower. The head was not working, in as much as it was like using a tap. But overall a great place to stay. I would recommend it, despite the 2 minor issues.

I'm currently staying at the hotel.i did stay here a number of years ago, and it was a good hotel then.i checked in and went to my room,it was quite dirty throughout. So i went to reception and asked to change to a cleaner room.I then looked at that,it was still dirty.back to reception, again try another room.it had a smell like an open sewer.so back again, at this point I asked to see the manager. What I need to point out is the reception staff and manager were very polite and friendly. I was told its an old building and during rain sometimes the drains back up and cause a smell.i explained the dirtiness of the rooms,stains on carpets and beds,peeling painted walls,and grime along surfaces, you could play noughts and crosses on the surfaces due to the amount of dust and grime.the remote controls were filthy.put you off picking one up.eventually I got a clean room.the manager took me to check it out herself. She was a nice lady who was doing what she could.after that I thought I'd watch a bit of TV.but all the channels had been programmed in the wrong way,just made it vert awkward to find a show.this morning at breakfast I went to restaurant and wanted a cup of coffee.went to machine and no cups,you have to ask to have one brought out.ok then.i ordered some pancakes of menu after 25 minutes 2 dried pancakes were brought out.ok ill have a glass of orange juice,lukewarm .the buffet,o asked for a gork as non at table ,a stained set of cutlery were provided to me.breakfast it's self was fine,no issues there.but overall breakfast experience a let down.at nearly £17 a head it should be better.though mine was part of the room rate.as you read through this review some parts may seem trivial ,possibly so.but it's the fact that when you add up all these small things it gives a overall bad experience. I have stayed a various holiday inns,and this isn't really up there.i was offered 2000 ihg reward points as a gesture from the manager. To put that into context,it costs around 20 000 points for a 1 night stay at a holiday inn. So really you can't do anything with 2000 points.a percentage of the bill would have been more appropriated.i think this hotel needs a major overall, and some of the staff retraining. The positives are the reception staff and manager.

Went back this hotel after a break of a few years for a tribute night with family. The rooms were quite decent on the top floor but the service was absolutely shocking in every aspect of the hotel. I don’t think we would return to this hotel I’ll explain….. On arrival we dropped out bags in the room and went downstairs to the bar for a few drinks - every single draft beer/lager was off and only bottles were being sold. This was really dissapointing there was no explanation from the bar staff who all appeared very miserable. Next we went downstairs to the party room and waited in the foyer with others and the beers were all off again on this separate bar too. Then I ordered some drinks and was told “we are only taking cash”. I asked why and the bar man said the card machine had broke. I explained I had no cash on me to which he replied I would have to get drinks upstairs! This wouldn’t be that bad but it was up 3 flights of stairs and a real inconvenience for the whole night having to go upstairs to pay for bottled drinks. Anyway after waiting for a minute a few people began to complain and a young man with blonde hair came behind the bar and I’m not joking shouted at everyone waiting “the card machine is off if you want a drink go upstairs” very rudely. One woman asked to speak to the manager and he actually shouted “I am the manager” very rudely - no apology or help or anything. It occurred to me after that they could have just charged the room or charged the table but nothing was offered or any help given he was clearly under pressure and his customer service was absolutely shocking everyone was gobsmacked! So the night went on and the disco finished at 1 am I think but bizarrely the bar in the hotel shut an hour earlier so we couldn’t have any drinks for the last couple of hours as the card machine was off all night ! You couldn’t make it up…. The disco was good fun, meal nice but then a gain in the morning the service let it down. Went down to breakfast and was told our room hadn’t paid for breakfast - we stood at the entrance whilst the woman greeting us walked off for about 10 minutes came back and just said “follow me”…. No apology, explanation or anything and yes we got breakfast which was actually not bad. The service was so poor it did actually really dampen our stay and I think most people were annoyed to…. Mistakes happen but you only want a smile, apology or explanation and instead we were spoken to almost like a visit to “Karen’s diner” . I’ve attached a photo of the state of the bar too!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, aber es ist sehr gut. Ich habe nicht die Bar oder das Restaurant besucht, wie es mit meinem 12-jährigen Sohn war, aber das Menü sah ausgezeichnet aus und die Bar-Bereich sah angenehm aus. Viel schöne Flachwagenparkplätze. Ich würde sicherlich wieder besuchen!
