Vorwort: Für uns die letzte Nacht vor dem Heimflug, da wir in der Früh nicht noch 1 Std. fahren wollten. Lage: 5 Min. mit dem Auto vom Flughafen entfernt. Dadurch natürlich mit Fluglärm verbunden (auch wenn die Flieger gleich auf das Wasser abdrehen). Aber von 22.30 Uhr bis 9 Uhr ist Ruhe. Der Strand ist direkt neben dem Hotel (aber keine Schönheit – mit Blick auf die Hauptstadt und dem Industriehafen). Zimmer: Das Zimmer war das große Plus des Hotels. Neue, geschmackvolle Einrichtung und sogar Parkett-Fußboden. Bequeme Betten und auch ausreichend Steckdosen vorhanden. Schön war das Meeresrauschen, welches mal vom Balkon hörte. Restaurant: Wir hatten auf unserer Teneriffa / Fuerteventura Reise im Dezember 2021 insgesamt 5 Hotels und nur in diesem Hotel gab es kein Buffet. Beim Abendessen wurde uns eine Speisekarte mit wirklich leckeren Speisen und den Preisen dahinter gereicht, woraufhin wir anmerkten, dass wir HP hätten. Daraufhin wurde die Speisekarte ausgetauscht und die Speisen waren plötzlich viel einfacher… Beim Frühstück mussten wir ankreuzen, was wir haben wollten und erhielten es dann auch. Naja… Sonstiges: Der Pool war leer und wie ich erfuhr, dass schon seit 2 Jahren. Schade, dass man damit nicht offen und ehrlich im Vorhinein umgeht. Fazit: Die 140 EUR die wir für das Meerblick Zimmer zahlten, waren eine Frechheit. Im INNSiDE Fuerteventura, wo wir zuvor waren, haben wir nur 30 EUR pro Nacht mehr bezahlt und befanden und in einer ganz anderen Welt. Das Hotel sieht uns nie wieder.

Das Hostel hat eine sehr gute Lage, 7 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, Sie haben einen Bus vom Flughafen, der Sie 2min von der Hostel,Linie 3. und Außerdem haben Sie die Autos ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß, die viele Busse aus,für verschiedene Orte der Insel. Der Strand ist 6 Minuten zu Fuß durch den Hafen,wunderschöne Aussichten . Und sagen, die sehr grundlegende Hostel, Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und Ventilator, groß, sind ziemlich gut Qualität, Preis. Aber es gibt Reinigung, das ist wichtig. Für mich am besten die Empfangsmitglieder, der Herr des Morgens und Samantha, das Mädchen des Abends, super aufmerksam und charmant. Ich wiederhole, ich habe mit sehr guter Mundgeschmack gekommen.

Sehr saubere komfortable Betten und Sofa moderne schöne Gastgeber ging am Weihnachten sie auf Shows rund Pool.it wurde täglich reinigt und heraus das einzige, was wir nicht mögen war die Farbe, die Toning braucht, um es moderner ist es ein kranklich hell Grüne Gott weiß, wer diese schreckliche Farbe gewählt hat. Kann auch mit ein paar Arcade-Maschinen statt in die Stadt zu gehen, um etwas wie ein ****** keine Ahnung, warum 2 Sterne definitiv wert mehr als das Rating.i wird wieder gehen

Touristisches Hotel etwas abseits gelegen. Während meiner Anwesenheit waren fast ausschließlich britische Touristen im Hotel. Check in erfolgte rasch und reibungslos, ich wurde in deutscher Sprache begrüßt. Die Zimmer im Poolbereich sind etwas kleiner als die Appartements hinter den Tennisplätzen. Eine kleine Küche steht im Appartement zur Verfügung. Das Hotel liegt in Flugplatznähe und ist etwas hellhörig. An den Appartements läuft eine Strasse entlang die übliche Geräusche verursacht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Bett sehr bequem und nicht hart. WiFi steht zur Verfügung und das TV - Angebot entspricht dem, was man von Hotels her kennt. 80 Kanäle, bunt international zusammen gewürfelt und die paar (4-6) deutschen Sender muss man suchen und sich merken. Das Essen vom Buffet ist vielfältig aber sehr einfach und günstig gemacht. Das Buffet am Abend bestand hauptsächlich aus Fingerfoot und Salate sowie etwas Fleisch und eine Schale mit Fischgericht. Es herrscht etwas Gedränge. Alternative Restaurants sind mit dem Taxi für weniger als 10 Euro zu erreichen, zu Fuß mehr als 30 Minuten. Der Poolbereich ist sauber, etwas eng und wird beschallt. Das Wasser ist sehr gut und sauber. Sehr gut sind auch die Sportmöglichkeiten für Tennis oder Badminton. Es gibt frei zugängliche Plätze die gut genutzt werden und in einem guten zustand gehalten werden. Es wird den ganzen viel Tennis gespielt. Entsprechende Geräusche im Zimmer deutlich wahr zu nehmen. Das Baden im Meer ist vom Hotel aus nicht möglich und auch nur mit einem Fahrdienst zu erreichen. (Taxi, Fahhrad, Bus etc..) Vorm Hotel gibt es ein Fahrradparkplatz. Zur Nutzung ist die entsprechende App zu laden. Die Appartements hinter den Tennisplätzen verfügen nicht über Klimamanlagen. Insgesamt ein Hotel das meinen Anforderungen genügt und auch gerne wieder genutzt wird.

Complex is huge. Location is great. Really close to the beach front / promenade and a short walk to the main square for bars and restaurants. Fado steakhouse is highly recommended. Eventually the hotel did grow upon us and we were quite sad to leave, and I think we had long day travelling irritation when we were arrived, so given the hotel is 3 stars and you get what you pay for, we just had to have a bit of an expectation management review. Fuerteventura is a fantastic place There are definitely things the hotel can address even if a 3 star hotel. Apartments are spacious and really clean but very very old and lots of marks and dirt on walls and damage on things like chipped / cracked tiles. Most electric plugs didn’t work in the room and WiFi just would not connect at all in the room and was intermittent elsewhere. Room 1259 had a nice balcony that was in the sun all afternoon but it overlooked the Main Street (sea was behind). However, most of the sea view rooms looked to be in the shade by mid afternoon. Room had 2 large single beds pushed together, so it isn’t really a king size, but comfy enough No air con in room which for January was ok but I’d think it’s very hot in peak season. Staff very friendly and helpful, this seems consistent with all reviews. Zero complaints, except one of the female managers general attitude. Food was excellent. Loads of choice, fresh and something for everyone. The staff here work incredibly hard. Hotel generally is Very very dated. Needs a massive refurb. Might be busy in peak season but felt like lots of dead and wasted space around, that they could look at putting additional facilities into. This might be because at some point this was two different hotels that have now converted to a single hotel. Having said that, the only evening lounge bar was always busy, never any seating after 8.30pm so I’d image it would be over crowded in peak Season. The dog and duck pub is very good, not included in all inclusive but very cheap. Staff here are excellent too. Our room was right above this pub but we couldn’t hear anything late into the evening, in fact once in the room everything was nice and quiet, with the exception of the continuous buzzing coming from the fuse box in our room. I reported this and was told it was fixed but I’m not sure it was looked at. Key thing that the hotel need to address is - Zero information given at reception upon check in, or what is or is not included in all inclusive and you are just left to wander around figuring stuff out for yourself. A map was offered eventually on day 2 but only of the surrounding area, not the hotel complex. Not much signage around hotel either. Email received on second day advising of an app you can use to check facilities and report issues. Unfortunately we had to report a couple things so thought we’d try the app but it is pointless as they don’t respond in a timely manner or confirm the issue you have reported has even been acknowledged a

I arrived at Castillo in the early evening of October 2nd 2023 as a solo traveller. Having left home some 8 hours previously, I felt tired , hungry , and thirsty and was therefore looking forward to being welcomed to my apartment quickly and efficiently as a holidaymaker. Instead I found myself face to face with a surly and charmless young man who ran through the check in procedure in a bored and disinterested fashion before thrusting a grainy and badly photocopied map into my hand in order to find my apartment myself amongst hundreds of similar white bungalows in the complex At this point I might add I’m the only traveller checking in at that point. Some 45 minutes later I find my apartment after walking round the complex umpteen times , if the check in guy had removed himself from behind the desk and simply pointed to a gate 50 yards up the road all this could have been avoided. The apartment was tired looking , sagging curtains , broken sofa bed , the main beds were uncomfortable metal frame affairs with a mismatched wooden headboard jammed up between them and the walls No air con , simply antiquated ceiling fans/lights which were hard to figure out to keep running without the lights on. Kitchenette appallingly equipped . Something scuttles when I open a cupboard Blocked drains emitting foul odours in the bathroom The roads around the complex are shocking , featuring broken manhole covers , broken electrical boxes , discarded rubbish lying around , and oh watch out for cars randomly crossing your path without warning from the strange little mini roundabouts which allow cars to zoom in front of people in a pedestrian zone. Also beware the electric scooters hacking around everywhere I think I had 3 room service visits in a fortnight , and despite paying for late checkout on my last day I then had a cleaner wondering why I was still there at 12 , I had to google the words paid late check out to get rid of her , obviously someone hadn’t done their job! Finally if you come here and are not particularly fit , it’s approximately 1 1/4 miles to the nearest beach , despite saying beach resort and a steep uphill climb on the return I’m sure Castillo will give the standard reply to this review , but you need to revamp your rooms , employ staff that are good with people , repair your roads , look after your grounds properly , including using the irrigation system in order to avoid the eyesore of dead plants everywhere, last but not least some general information given to guests and proper signage around the place would greatly help!

Excellent Service , however be aware that i purchased through trip.com the hotel did try to charge me an extra £100 euros , because the deal i paid for wasn’t the price set by the hotel, however after the Receptionist spoke to the manager , they honoured the price i paid , all in all from start to finish took about 20 mins , the Room with a sea view was absolutely stunning, i thought the room had no electric , however a quick pop to the desk explained that the key card you use to get into the room goes into a slot in the entrance way to turn it on , ( quick suggestion to the hotel maybe explain this when you give out the room cards ) Having stayed in a different hotel previously i didn’t know what to expect , i’m happy to say i will be back , its at least 2/3 minutes walk to the beach , has disabled access which is great , lifts are in the lobby to allow higher floors, they have a chill out zone thats open from 9am which has rooftop jacuzzi’s ,sauna and stunning views over the sea , it also has two pools one inside the complex and another outside, The breakfast while inconvenient at times having to go downstairs to eat, ( they do have room service however at €10 was not something i wanted to pay personally it was a nice touch though ) was plentiful to say the least they had a large variety to cater to everyone . The receptionist were brilliant even with a slight language barrier , some are multilingual in any event , my advice learn some words in Spanish helps a lot ! The Room itself was absolutely spotlessly cleaned , fresh towels and bedding changed daily by the cleaners , with little heart chocolate’s was a nice surprise one slight issue for me unless you want to be woke up at 8/9am with the drinks bar i would fully use the do not disturb sign , The hotel has a massage and therapy i used the 2 hour service and both the husband and wife are an excellent edition to the hotel , they cater to a range of injuries , we even joked that my back was as hard as wood , they worked in tandem and gave one of the best massages i have ever had and i’ve had quite a few over the years. There are quite a few places to eat , however the restaurant which is about 1 minute walk from the hotel has the most amazing staff and the food is great, the prices are reasonable to. Now i know this is an adult only hotel so i was expecting the hotel to be loud in the evenings until the early hours , and while this was at the end of June 2024 i heard little in the way of noise passed 1am. Being the night owl having the sea view and listening to the sound of the waves at 1/2/3 am in the morning is the most peaceful i have felt , thank-you Ezra Mar for the Wonderful Memories. All in all it was an Excellent stay , I Will be back thats for sure , Thanks to all the cleaners and staff at the hotel , what a pleasurable experience.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das beste war der Spa-Bereich. Schöne Atmosphere, gutes Angebot und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, nettes Personal. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, hätte aber im Badbereich besser geputzt werden können. Wir hatten 'all inclusive' gebucht, jedoch war nicht alles inklusive bzw man hatte nur eine kleine Auswahl an Getränken die es ohne Aufpreis gab. Man darf dann gerne das 'all inclusive Plus' extra buchen, dass steht aber auch nur im Zimmerschlüsselkärtchen drin. Die inclusiven Getränke sind sehr einfach und zB der Gin & Tonic war ungeniessbar, Wir haben oft den Aufpreis gezahlt um bessere Qualität bei den Getränken zu erhalten. Das Enttäuschendste war jedoch das Essen. Obwohl es natürlich jeden Tag etwas anderes auf dem Büffet gab, hatte man nach ein paar Tagen das Gefühl man isst immer das Gleiche, da sich das Angebot einfach sehr ähnelte. Das Essen war wenig gewürzt und somit fad und langweilig. Oft waren die Speisen auch nur lauwarm oder manchmal sogar kalt. Am letzten Abend sind wir dann sogar ausserhalb Essen gegangen.
