Große Lage in einem ruhigen, ruhigen Dorf ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Bus von Larnaca. Kurz zum Strand zu Fuß. Das Frühstück im Mittelmeer und im Westen und das Restaurant sind über den ganzen Tag und den Abend verfügbar. Das Hotel wurde in eine Gartensuite aufgebaut, so dass Sie nicht sicher, wie die Haupthotelzimmer sind. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfreich Nur die Frage war meine Buchung war für eine Person, aber das Frühstück für zwei enthalten. Versuchte, diese durch Trip.com und das Hotel zu ändern, aber beide Parteien setzte die Verantwortung auf die andere und das Problem wurde nicht gelöst

Lage: Nur 5 Min. vom Flughafen entfernt (unser Flug startete um 5:45 Uhr). Auch zum Strand mit zahlreichen Restaurants am Mackenzie Beach waren es nur 10 Min. zu Fuß. Eigentlich in einer Wohngegend gelegen. Wegen der Flughafennähe muss bis 22 Uhr mit Fluglärm gerechnet werden. Zimmer: Für die 55 EUR / Nacht, die wir bezahlt haben, hatten wir keine großen Erwartungen. Deshalb war unsere Überraschung um so großer als wir sahen, dass das Zimmer nebst Bad frisch renoviert waren. Es waren keine Luxusmöbel, aber dafür hatten wir auch nicht bezahlt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hatte sogar einen Balkon. Das Bad war ebenfalls geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Pool / Sonstiges: Sogar ein kleiner Pool hinter dem Haus ist vorhanden. Parken gestaltete sich abends in dem Wohngebiet eher schwierig. Sehr freundlicher Welcome. Fazit: Bei einem frühen Flug können wir das Hotel vollumfänglich empfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder wählen. Wir haben erhalten, wofür wir bezahlt haben.

Nachdem ich ein anderes Hotel dieser Gruppe besuchte, war ich sehr neugierig, nach The Ciao Stelio zu kommen; aber nach einigen Bewertungen war ich enttäuscht. Trotz meiner Zweifel entschloss ich mich zu gehen und war froh über meine Entscheidung. Von der ersten E-Mail, habe ich schnell und freundliche Hilfe zu allem, was ich interessiert war (besonders dank Alexandros, Dimitris und Stella dafür), meine zusätzlichen Anfragen wurden auch freundlich bemerkt (und am Ende zufrieden). Dank Anna war das Eincheckverfahren reibungslos und schnell, und natürlich habe ich sie auch mit vielen Fragen verärgert, weil ich so neugierig war über alles um mich herum. Nachdem ich zu meinem geräumigen und schönen Zimmer kam, vergaß ich, dass ich in dem Zimmer einen Wein bestellt habe und völlig vergessen hatte, dass ich bezahlt habe, war bereit, zurück zu der Rezeption zu kommen, aber meine Gedanken wurden durch den Knopf unterbrochen und als ich die Tür öffnete. Ich sah einen lächelnden Mann, der mich begrüßte und sagte, er sei geehrt, meinen komplementären Wein zu liefern 😊 Nicos, Sie sind Top! Ein schöner Mann, der das Glas Champagner in meinem Zimmer füllt – ein besseres Willkommen ist schwer zu imagen)))) Ihren Service bei Gambino Bar später für das Abendessen war so schnell und professionell – Danke für das machen meines Abends, wirklich. Die geliebte Gambino Bar für ein bisschenswertes Essen – Qualität ist auf der Ebene (bitte die Portionen ein bisschen größeren), wird sicher wieder da für einen Drink/Snack kommen. Der einzige enttäuschende Moment, den ich hatte, ist der frühe Arbeitswechsel und die Notwendigkeit, zu Pafos zurück zu kommen, hatte ich nicht die Chance, den Geschmack des Frühstücks zu schätzen, aber diese Frage kann leicht durch den nächsten Besuch sortiert werden. Danke für den ganzen The Ciao Stelio Team für den kurzen Aufenthalt so bemerkenswert und entspannend!

I booked a cheap hotel as I only needed it to sleep and shower in as I was out everyday. You pay for what you get. However the amount of stress caused on check in I was not prepared for. I understand reservations may not appear for many different reasons so I have more patience and understanding than most, however to be told on check in there’s a piece of scrap paper saying I’ve been moved to another hotel 40mins drive away, when I was told their was rooms available, with no proper documentation and I have to pay for the taxi and somehow claim it back from some person tomorrow, then met with a shoulder shrug when I said no just isn’t ok. I spent all evening trying to sort out the check in. Communication failed terribly in this occasion. I was left to sit and basically deal with my reservation myself for 4 1/2 hours talking to the company I booked with, not knowing If I was getting a room here or not and looking for other places to stay. To find out there was a problem with the payment, which if I was told from the beginning it could have been dealt with a lot quicker and reduced the stress of trying to be sent to another hotel, not knowing if they actually had my booking. A lot of reassurance points were missed. Which wasn’t a great start to my holiday. However on another note, This hotel has huge potential and I don’t think the owners realise. It just needs some some TLC, with its location being 5mins from the airport, the beach out side, ***** of restaurants 30 seconds away, volley ball, water sports on the beach out front and 2mins walk from the bus stop to larnaka centre (or 30/40min walk) and only a 5min walk to the salt lake. The actual hotel needs some love and work to it. With the partnership it has with last minute.com and potentially others, it could do really well and stand a very good chance in the market. Just some advice , Get the pool and upstairs bar fixed so it’s suitable for leisure guests when they come next summer. As it stands you wouldn’t be able to relax in the hotel during the day. The lobby area is lovely and spacious, the decorations and branding is simplistic which is nice. The outside of the hotel looks lovely with the huge flamingo. Do up the bedrooms, get the showers fixed, re paint, fix the door handles , make it look fresh like the photos advertised. When you get more guests coming , then focus on re designing the breakfast buffet, so there’s more of a selection. Then focus on customer service and making it feel warm. Let people aware you have made changes and ask the guests to leave reviews, better your chances of new business and more money. As people read reviews before staying. Look at the surrounding market and competition, what are your USP’s ?, where do you stand out?. It’s such a shame to see a hotel with potential go to waste. I hope the owners see this and start to put some love into the hotel.

It seems pointless adding yet another bad review of this hotel as it is obviously that the owner doesn’t care as long as the rooms are occupied. All the bad reviews are accurate, don’t let the photos on their website fool you, they must have been taken when the hotel was new. For example the poolside furniture is now cheap plastic sunbeds and tables and the area in poor condition. The hotel is now generally dilapidated and run down and in need of a complete renovation. The ‘simple’ furniture as they call it in my room was falling apart with one bedside table coming away from the wall and a broken bedside light. Fridge was noisy, bed as hard as a plank which is giving me backache, bedspread so worn the pattern has worn off. Wall safe - the key barrel was missing so it couldn’t be securely locked. Balcony privacy panels, glass one badly cracked and the other one delaminating and falling apart. Extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Room cleaning was hit and miss, for the last 3 days of my stay my room wasn’t cleaned or the bin emptied, not great when you are asked not to put loo paper down the loo! Breakfast was mediocre but palatable. When I booked to stay at this hotel I had also booked evening meals, when I came down for dinner the first night and asked where the restaurant was I was told that the evening meals were at another hotel 2 streets away at the Best Western!! The food at the Best Western was excellent. Staff were indifferent and certainly not as customer engaging as the staff I saw at the Best Western. On the plus side the AC was efficient. I’ve visited a lot of hotels around the world from one star to 5 star and this is by far the worst I’ve stayed in. Overall, I wish that I had researched the reviews of this hotel before choosing where to stay, I certainly would have chosen somewhere else.

Wow,was fuer ein Service fuer ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Vom Check-in bis zum Check-out lief alles perfekt. Superfreundliches Personal wie es sonst in Zypern kaum zu finden ist. Jeder Mitarbeiter ist bemueht einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie moeglich zu gestalten. Ganz besonders moechte ich hier Hristina vom Front Desk hervorheben und mich natuerlich auch bei allen anderen Mitarbeitern nochmal herzlich bedanken ! Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls wurderbar ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Es gibt eine Sauna und Dampfbad ,alles nagelneu und man kann den Bereich sogar privat nutzen ( sogar abschliessbar ). Ich hatte mit HP ueber FTI Touristik gebucht ( sehr guenstig! ) .dass Fruehstueck ist als Bueffet, Abendessen a la Cart mit grosser Auswahl und sehr lecker. Leider sind die Bewertungungen auf der Buchungsseite von FTI noch nicht upgedatet, sind immer noch vom alten Larco Hotel das eine Bruchbude war! Also nicht irritieren lassen , denn jetzt steht dass BW Larco komplett neu da. Ich werde dass Hotel jetzt jedesmal nutzen wenn ich in Larnaca bin
