Kampaeng Ngam Hotel Bewertungen

Not again !! Dieses Hotel war sicherlich mal sehr schön als es neu war. Mittlerweile ist es sehr abgewohnt. Duschablauf ist in unserem Zimmer verstopft, Abfluss am Waschbecken undicht, schimmelige Silikonfugen in der Dusche, Tür fault langsam weg, Pool habe ich wegen sichtbarer Verschmutzung nicht benutzt, etc. etc. Das Personal empfanden wir als sehr unfreundlich (Handy wichtiger als freundlicher Service). Kein guten Morgen od. guten Tag, auf Fragen wurde sehr kurz ab geantwortet. Beim Frühstück musste ständig auf aufgebrauchte Dinge (Eier, Toast, Früchte, Saft,...) hingewiesen werden. Fazit : ein Hotel welches wir nicht nochmal buchen würden! P.s. die Moped verleiherin (seperater shop) war sehr nett!

This hotel is traditional, which I like. The service was adequate. The staff did not go out of their way to be helpful, but they were always willing to help when asked. The only thing that was a disappointment was the breakfast. There was a choice, but the hot items were cold.

Unfortunately the water was orange and most of the bathroom was leaking. Like the sink and shower. Location is great but that was it.

For the room ,In real looks little older than in the pic. More backpackers hotel. Pool was nice though.

Reasonable price with good location and helpful staff. It's near Night Barza but the area is not crowded or noisy. Room quite old but not that bad. Enough facilities with a good size of pool to cool you down in the afternoon.

Fair price and locates near Chiang Mai night bazaar. The room also clean but I can hear noise from others rooms.

Good location

There were 16 of for 6 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms for 4day/3nights. It was a lousy experience at Kampaeng Ngam. The pictures you see is not what you get. We absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. 1) On the first day, the lift (elevator) does not work but was fixed only after we complained. 2) The rooms only has 1 mirror each in the bathroom. There is no mirror in the room when the bathroom/wc was occupied. This not a norm for hotel rooms. 3) The telephone in the room does not work. We were told "it's a telco issue and they are getting it fixed" - it was not fixed throughout our stay. 4) Same for the Wi-Fi. After login with password given, message says "connected with no internet". We were told it will be fixed but it was not even till the day we left. Last Sept 2023, there were 8 and we stayed at the Amorae Tapae Hotel - it was a wonderful experience. Everything work perfectly and the room rate was cheaper than Kampaeng Ngam with breakfast included. (Kampaeng charged a higher rate with NO breakfast.)

Room on the first floor near the road. Little bit noisy. Clean. Aircon is good. Check-in was fast
