Das Haus ist überhaupt nicht wichtig, ob Sie schlafen können oder nicht! Zunächst: Es gibt niemand, der in der Bar/Restaurant während Covid arbeitet. Ok. Das hätte es großartig gewesen sein zu wissen. Aber offensichtlich ist es völlig ok, wenn die Leute im Garten sitzen und ihre Lungen nach Mitternacht schreien. Das war unsere erste Nacht. Am Morgen beim Frühstück (die zählt werden soll), haben wir herausgefunden, dass Sie zwischen einem Orangensaft OR ein (echt) kleines Obst - Platte wählen müssen! ernsthaft???? Sie müssen extra zahlen, wenn Sie beide haben wollen! Der Rest des Frühstücks enthält Brot mit Butter (Natürlich nicht echtes Butter), Schalen und Eier. Aber wenn Sie keine einfachen Eier haben wollen, müssen Sie extra zahlen. Also nicht gemütlich sein und Käse oder so etwas fragen! Und der Kellner war der erste während unserer Reise, der seine Maske nicht richtig tragen konnte, so war seine Nase die ganze Zeit aus. Also müssen wir dafür extra zahlen? Am zweiten Abend kam ein Bus um Mitternacht an und es schrie über das ganze Gebäude. Der Junge am Rezeptionstisch sah mich gerade an und sagte nichts, als ich ihn um Hilfe gebeten habe, den Schrei zu stoppen. Noch nie! Und wenn Sie noch entscheiden, hier zu schlafen (versuchen), stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie nicht im zweiten Stock in der Nähe der Eismaschine. denn das ist natürlich auch extrem laut. Bringe Ohrenschnüre! Und Trinken. So können Sie die ganze Nacht im Garten feiern. Das wäre der beste Ort, um das zu tun. Sie kümmern sich überhaupt nicht.

Ich war in diesem Hotel, weil es in anderen Terrorgeschichten gab, es gibt wirklich nicht viele Möglichkeiten, die gut in Chetumal sind, aber dieses Hotel erfüllte die Erwartungen für eine Nacht. Die Betten gut, die Reinigung gut, die Rezeption half mir, ein Auto zu mieten, und das war ein Super plus! Ich danke der Rezeption wirklich. Was mir toll erschien, ist, dass das Hotel auf einem Marktplatz mit Liverpool und Chedraui ist, so dass alles, was Sie brauchen, nur wenige Schritte ist, das Frühstück, speziell das Saft, würde verbessern, weil es Medizin weiß. Aber alles andere ist gut!

VviajePALZWe only stayed two nights, and unfortunately there was a rainy cold front which prevented me from using the pool. It is so lovely, that made me sad. At least there is a very large palapa sitting area with a bar and restaurant so we didn’t have to stay in our room the whole time. It is a nice size small resort, and easy to get around with paths through the lush jungle. The rooms are lovely, large thatched roof porch with a hammock and furnishings. Unfortunately again, the roof had some holes and leaked and it was all wet so I didn’t use it, including the hammock. The room was large, bedding very comfortable with fluffy pillows and very soft bedding! The sheets smelled nice and clean! There are nice handmade wooden shutters on the doors and interesting sliding screens that covered the widows so it was and dark for sleeping. Our first night we had turn down service with a treat. I. The morning a basket of coffee was left on the porch with some sweet breads. But the rules said no food or drink was allowed in the room! Lol The meals were very good. Usually All Inclusive serves buffets but we got to choose from daily specials and were served our meals. I liked that! Now for my problem- which was resolved. I just think it should not have occurred in the first place. This was a splurge for us, almost $300/night. When we were brought to our room it smelled musty. It should have been refreshed before they brought us. I should have mentioned it immediately but we had a long day driving in the rain and wanted to get in the room. I couldn’t sleep that night from the smell that increased as time went on. Since it was chilly we closed up the room. We should have used the AC to help but it was cold already! Besides the musty smell ( which could have been perpetuated from the rain, the bathroom had a terrible sewage smell! We were offered to move our room, which would have been a pain, so we allowed them to treat it. They poured bleach in the floor drain and it helped. Then we were afraid to shower and wash away the bleach. One thing they should mention at check-in, is that you can leave a tip for the employees at the end of your stay. We left some cash as we went but it is more convenient to leave a lump sum to be distributed amongst all the staff. I asked about the tipping policy but was not told that was an option. Overall, I think it is too expensive for what you get. We have stayed at luxury haciendas for less, and expected more here. If you can get a coupon or belong to the RCI it is worth a visit.

RRoad16873000060Unsere Elf-Familie suchte einen entspannenden Tag am Strand von den Menschen des Kreuzfahrtschiffs und Maya Luna passte die Rechnung perfekt. Carolina war sehr professionell, um mir Informationen über das Hotel vor unserer Ankunft zu geben. Sie hat uns für den Transport vom und zurück zum Hafen gesorgt und uns mit Mahlzeiten und Snack-Auswahl geliefert, damit wir unsere Entscheidungen treffen können, bevor wir ankommen. Die Fahrt vom Hafen war länger als erwartet und die Straße wurde an einigen Orten nicht gut gepflegt. Aber das ist nicht ungewöhnlich, wenn Sie von den typischen Touristengebieten weg. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir unter einem schatten Schatten stolzen gezeigt. Wir hatten Picknicktisch im Schatten der zahlreichen Bäume auf dem Grundstück. Das Personal war auf alle unsere Anfragen aufmerksam. Die Getränke, Snacks und Mittagessen waren reichlich und lecker. Ich mag vor allem die Pinienschreibe und die Guacamole. Das Eigentum ist so friedlich, dass ein Paar Holzpecker einen Nest in einem Baumstamm direkt neben uns gebaut hatte. Meine Großmutter waren wirklich aufgeregt, sie zu ihren kleinen zu sehen. In der Tat waren wir alle aufgeregt, sie zu sehen. Das Meer**** in Costa Maya ist ein Problem. Carolina hatte mich über das Meer**** informiert, bevor wir jemals angekommen waren. Sie wollte uns nicht unbewußt gefangen genommen werden. Und obwohl es Meer**** vor dem Hotel-Eigentum gab, konnten wir einen kurzen Spaziergang auf der Straße zu einem Bereich, wo es sehr wenig gab. Danke Carolina und ihr wunderbares Personal war unser Tag bei Maya Luna friedlich, entspannt und angenehm.

We had a two day stop over in Chetumal and luckily picked this spot. The lush enormous property, the beautiful pool, large lovely rooms with private balconies plus the most helpful, welcoming staff made this a wonderful respite. The hotel is just reopening after having to close during the pandemic so is not back to full service yet e.g. continental breakfast (included) but no restaurant or bar services yet. It is about a ten minute Taxi from downtown Chetumal and about 25 into Bacalar where we spent a lovely day. We brought take out back to the hotel where they kindly set an outdoor table for us and heated the food. Then the manager Adrian drove us to the airport. I can’t say enough about this hotel and only hope it can build itself back as it certainly deserves to.

GGuest UserIch habe vor kurzem hier eine Nacht bei zwei getrennten Gelegenheiten geblieben, bevor ich nach Belize überquerte. So brauchte ich im Grunde nur einen Ort, um zu krasseln. Die Zimmer sind riesig und in 50er-Jahren sowjetischen sozialistischen Dekorationen und Mädels eingerichtet, die in den 80er Jahren gerade vor dem Aufbruch der Sowjetunion (aber ich zerkleinern) tatsächlich zurückgekauft scheinen. Zusätzlich, ich denke, es gab nur 2 Ausgänge - eine im Badezimmer und eine neben dem Bett neben dem TV gewidmet und versteckt von Blick-hart zu laden Ihre Geräte in diesem Szenario. Kurz gesagt, es hat sich in viel besseren Zeiten die relativ niedrigen Nachtraten bemerkt. Der Aufzug scheint aus Japan gesendet zu haben, weil fast jeder Aufzug in Japan ist klein, weil Immobilien in den meisten großen Städten dort im Gegensatz zu Chetumal- kann es kaum eine Person und zwei Taschen passen. Zudem spricht zumindest das erste Mal, dass ich am Abend und morgens vor dem Büropersonal ein wenig Englisch - der nächste Aufenthalt, nada. MwSt, sie haben ein Hotel branded convenience store, das sagt, es ist offen 24/7 auf den Informationen in Ihrem Zimmer geschrieben, aber es ist nicht erscheinen, um 11 zu schließen und um 8 Uhr wieder zu öffnen. Das ist 15 Stunden, nicht 24. Das seltsamste ist, dass außer für die Lobby, sie alle Lichter auf den Treppen und Etagen in die Zimmer von ca. 11:00 bis 7:00 Uhr ausschalten (über Sonnenaufgang)! WH? Wie steigen die Treppen w/o ein Gerichtsverfahren? Wie finde ich mein Zimmer? Gut, mein Handy hat ein Licht. WHY? Letzte, die ich prüfte, hat Mexiko elektrisch trotzdem ein drittes Weltland. Die Ersparnis ist das Restaurant. Sehr preiswerte Mittelmeer-Stil-Menü mit vielen gesunden Optionen zum Snack auf einschließlich Peruanischen Stil kalte Kartoffel ”Causas” und frisches machen Saft und sie hatten sogar Chilaquiles für Frühstücksgut! Das Hotel ist nicht wirklich geeignet.

GGuest UserWohl das beste Hotel in Chetumal. Groß, modern, sauber und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Highlight ist der Dachgarten mit tollem Pool, Meerblick und einer schicken Bar. Typisches Businesshotel, aber auch für eine oder zwei Nächte vor oder einer Fährüberfahrt zu empfehlen. Fähre, Stadt, Banken und Restaurants fußläufig.
