Tecnohotel Casa Villamar

This really lovely 1925 historic building has been a place I have wanted to visit for some time. On arrival a staff member greeted us. We asked about the restaurant. It was a beautiful evening so chose to sit by the pool. Classical music in the background. We had an odd pairing red wine for me and a banana split for my friend. Couldn’t have been a more pleasant evening! One of the staff can to the table and informed us that other healthy options are on the menu. Definitely will return! Thumbs up!!

The very worst place we have ever stayed. On all the reviews the hotel looked lovely. We booked for two nights and arrived July 31, 2024. The place is old and very tired looking. The pictures make it look fun and exciting. We booked a Superior King Suite with balcony, at almost 200 Canadian dollars a night. Upon check in I asked what time the bar and restaurant ( both advertised on their website) would be open. Response for both was “around 7 pm when the chef shows up”. Thankfully we went else where for dinner and got back around 7:30 and the chef ( and bartender) had not yet showed up. The room was very sparse and dated. No coffepot so asked once again about coffee…pot would be turned on around 7 am when the chef arrrived. Was concerned about the cleanliness of the bed so pulled the sheets back, no mattress cover, and mattress was baldly stained with cigaret holes, blood, urine stains etc…went downstairs and told them we were leaving, and why, showed the night person the bed and demanded my money back which was finally returned to me. We are seniors and now at 9:30 at night we had to start looking for another place to sleep. Found a great hotel called Scappata on the beach and. Upon checkout this morning, 2 other couples arrived at the Scappata Hotel from the Techno Hotel., As both had cancelled their stay at Techno Hotel because the hotel was ,a dump. Do not normally write reviews, especially bad ones, but I do not want others to experience what we did

There is no wifi in your room. There is only ONE power outlet and that is in the bathroom. If you order breakfast expect to wait 45min at least. At least the beds are comfortable but that is the absolut only positive thing about it. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!

Excelente estancia, habitación muy cómoda, muy buena limpieza, personal muy amable, me gusto que si tiene estacionamiento, . todo muy bien solo no me gustó tener que salir a la calle a fumar pero entiendo que es libre de humo, tal vez una zona para fumar todo lo demás perfecto,
