The hotel generally well located in the center next to the train station. That is convenient in order to walk to nearby attractions, but the hotel has no car parking so that guests are being directed to public overnight parking in the city center, which is anything but inexpensive. The hotel as such is perfectly acceptable with renovated rooms. We had a junior suite for two adults and one daughter, but when we arrived in the evening we first had to find someone to arrange for a bed for our daughter as the room was set up only for two. Walls are rather thin here so you have little insulation and can hear others well in neighboring rooms. That was not a problem for us as the hotel wasn't full and we stayed there for just one night, but perhaps is less ideal if you stay longer. There is typically only one staff member on duty, so service is not the greatest. We asked for directions to a nearby restaurant but the attendant didn't even know the place that was recommended throughout in all relevant directories, on Tripadvisor, etc. Breakfast is fully self-service, including as to coffee with very basic prefabricated products, nothing special. What completely marred our experience is the fact that we had reserved and pre-paid our junior suite with breakfast included, yet at checkout were charged again separately for breakfast. That is perhaps a mistake that can happen, but was is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE is the fact that the hotel when dark when we contacted them subsequently after having left and realized the additional charge. Not a single response to this date even after multiple messages/emails sent asking for correction of the mistake. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and not to be excused. Hence, we would recommend to stay away from this place and go elsewhere.

Ich hatte vor kurzem die Freude, an der Mercure Chartres Centre Cathedral zu bleiben, und insgesamt war es eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, sorgte für einen reibungslosen Eincheckprozess und gab hilfreiche Empfehlungen für lokale Attraktionen. Insgesamt ist die Mercure Chartres Centre Kathedrale eine solide Wahl für diejenigen, die einen komfortablen Aufenthalt in der Nähe der Chartres’ historischen Attraktionen suchen.

Das war unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Hotel. Wir fanden das Personal am Check-in-Desk sehr willkommen und das Zimmer war komfortabel mit einem Sofabett für meine Tochter. Wir mögen die Tatsache, dass es im Zimmer ein Kühlschrank gibt, da das nicht immer in anderen Hotels zur Verfügung steht. Alles ging gut, bis wir im Restaurant essen wollten. Wir wurden unverzüglich von einem Mitarbeiter sitzen und den Menüs gegeben. Das Restaurant war nicht beschäftigt, aber nach 25 Minuten mit niemandem fragte, ob wir sogar einen Drink wollten, gingen wir raus und gingen anderswo. Eine große Schande, da wir die anderen Aspekte unseres Aufenthalts genossen.

Ich habe eine Behinderung und das Hotelpersonal war so sehr nett. Auch Sie haben einen kleinen Lastpark im dertiny Hotelwagenpark, aber wir haben das und das Zimmer, das neben einem großen Zimmer ein wunderbares Badezimmer hatte.Es war attraktiv. Der Empfangsmann war sehr nett. Wir waren nur 5-10 Minuten zum Pilgerbeginn in der Kathedrale und der charmanten Stadt nahe dem Zentrum von Chartres. Es gibt eine gemütliche Lounge, in der man sich sitzen kann und das Frühstück sogar Bacon und Eier sowie ein charmanter Kellner angeboten, der nicht genug tun konnte.Es gab ein riesiges Buffet von französischen Frühstücksartikeln und verschiedenen Obst. Wir waren sehr gut behandelt. Das Badezimmer war ziemlich luxuriös mit einem Stuhl für eine behinderte Person, um eine Dusche zu haben. Das kleine Stadtzentrum war charmant.Wir würden sicher hier wieder bleiben!

Wir reisen nach England zurück und dieses Hotel war perfekt gelegen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die Dusche war hervorragend. Das Bett war für mich ein wenig Firma, aber passte meinem Mann an. Es gab viele gute Qualitätsküken. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Wir würden hier nochmal bleiben.

A night stop over booked on line for two rooms. No problems at all. Easy to find with secure parking behind the hotel (€10 for 24 hours) Comfortable rooms with all that is needed for one night though having your own kettle is an advantage. Comfortable bed and good shower with plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful with advice on local amenities. Only a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral and the centre of town. Restaurants tend to be expensive in the centre so we ate at the hotel. A good quality satisfying meal with good service. A good range of food for breakfast completed a great stay.
