Als ich mir die Bilder ansah, dachte ich ursprünglich, dass die Umgebung gut sei, aber ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass der Raum mit überall Staub extrem hygienisch sein würde. Die Raumluft ist sehr schlecht. Die Dekoration riecht sehr stark und es gibt keine Bademäntel. Der Check-in war sehr schlecht... Das Badewasser war sehr klein...

An der Rezeption ging um 20 Uhr abends niemand ans Telefon. Es gab kein Wasser im Duschkanal. Der Service war sehr schlecht. Die Schalldämmwirkung des Zimmers war schlecht. Man konnte das Geräusch des hören Duschwasser im Nebenzimmer. Als ich um 15:45 Uhr nachmittags eincheckte, kam die Rezeption und sagte, ich würde eine halbe Stunde auf ein Zimmer warten. Ich bin noch nicht bereit. Was ist das für ein Erlebnis? Als ich auscheckte, fragte ich, ob ich später auschecken könne. Die Antwort war: Das Zimmer war voll und ich musste um 12 Uhr auschecken. Gibt es kein Training? Es ist wirklich eine schlechte Erfahrung.

Der Fernsehschrank im Zimmer war kaputt und hatte einen großen Riss. Ich hatte damals ein Kind dabei. Es war fast neun Uhr, als ich dorthin fuhr. Nachdem ich mich zur Reparatur gemeldet hatte, wurde mir gesagt, dass er nicht herunterfallen würde und schlug das Kind, aber es gab keine andere Lösung. Es ist relativ sauber und das Frühstück ist ziemlich gut. Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt am Eingang der antiken Stadt, neben vielen Restaurants und Imbissstraßen. Die Kellner sind sehr geduldig und scheinen im gesamten Chaoshan-Gebiet nicht ungeduldig zu sein.

I am very surprised that my friend (not a fan of Trip.com) went in Trip.com website and found that it quoted cheaper than the price I (Diamond tier) have made a booking few minutes earlier!??? Anyway, the rooms are partitioned rooms...😓

when booking the a room looking into the courtyard beware that the noise of the rest of rooms will sound as if the action is happening in your own room, the window is not noise proof at all. Any weekend plenty of families with kids will come to this hotel so sleep is very difficult and nobodys fault but the lack of noiseproof on the window. On the other hand room looking at the street is no way better, this hotel has only 3 floors and it is located at a busy street full of traffic. breakfast was decent and good enough with the local beef noodle especially, the location is good just crossing the street you get into Chao Zhou ancient town, but again we found sleep and rest in overall difficult in this hotel

This hotel is very clean and neat, situated just in front of chao zhou anicent city which is the key tourist attraction of ghe area. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet selection is excellent. Highly recommend this hotel and i will be staying there again next time i visit!

The bed is super comfortable and toilet is so clean and use automatic system. Room layout is good with lot of space to move about. Quality Chinese tea bag provided. Super stay and will stay again!!

Will definitely book this hotel if going back Chaozhou. We saw a great performance just outside hotel at 8pm, it’s route one big round and back to night market. Seafood porridge, goose meat and Oyster Omelette must try.

Near to everything that is required.more than enough food choice. Easy to get from train station to hotel either by taxi , direct express bus or private driver ..hotel is clean and room is big

The most incredible hotel stay in China after more than 3 weeks travelling around Xinjiang, Beijing and Xiamen. I have only superlatives in describing every moment and experience at Chaozhou Nanyi from the cleanliness, rooms, beds, bathrooms with the latest high-tech toilets, showers etc. The deco along the passageways, room layout is just so tastefully laid out. The unit I had comprised a master bedroom, another separate single room, a spacious sitting/tea/tv lounge, 2 separate bathrooms with latest high-tech features and a walk-in closet. The breakfast is more than ample from a western to a noodle station to suit your choice of ingredients. Tea and light snacks is served every afternoon, including a late night bowl of noodles, if you are hungry. This hotel surpasses my every expectations of what a top 5 stars hotel should be, much better than some of the Kempinski’s I’ve stayed in, in Europe! And it’s surprisingly affordable! No doubt my hotel of choice in Chaozhou!

Hotel was located just opposite paifang street and it was within walking distance from guangji gate tower and guangji bridge. The hotel room was spacious and clean service was top notch. There are also many restaurants and other amenities around.

Unfortunately the aircon was turned off around 9 pm till next morning 7.30pm . As a result I had not extended my stay and move to a nearby hotel where aircon was turned on 24 hrs.  Very disappointed although service was good. Not recommended for those who prefer coolness throughout .
