We stayed for nine days and had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly accomodating and always very helpful. The location is perfect. Our room overlooked a quiet street and the hotel is five minutes walk from the sea front at the port so there is excellent shopping and dining close by. The hotel has been recently renovated so is modern and was very clean. The room was fine, the beds comfortable, there was a smart TV and the bathroom had a rain shower. My one complaint abour the room is the lack or wardrobe space for two people on a longer stay. There was just one tiny wardrobe. The buffet breakfast was very varied with a different selection every day and all was of very good quality. The cleaning staff were perhaps a tad over insistent on occasions and almost rushed us to leave the room after breakfast, but it was not a great inconvenience. We also managed to find a car park just a short walk away. I would certainly stay there again.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und das Hotel war super sauber und extrem komfortabel. Alles fühlte sich neu und der Service war wirklich 5 Sterne. Wir waren glücklich überrascht zu lernen, dass der Innenpool eigentlich nur ein Riesenjacuzzi ist. Wir verbrachten dort eine Stunde an unserer letzten Nacht, die super schön war. Das Bett ist wirklich komfortabel und der Ort ist ruhig. Es gibt einen Valet Service für den Parkplatz Ihres Autos und wir haben willkommene Getränke und Snacks bei der Ankunft. Vielen Dank für die kostenlose Flasche Wein und Obstkuchen als VIP-Willkommensgeschenk. Wir genossen uns wirklich und werden wieder in dieses Hotel kommen, wenn wir Chania noch einmal einen Tag besuchen.

Das Kydon liegt wirklich super zentral. Man ist in wenigen Schritten mitten im Leben. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und unheimlich aufmerksam. Das Frühstücksbuffet beinhaltet alles, was man braucht. Alles ist frisch und schmeckt sehr lecker. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 5. Stock mit phantastischer Aussicht. Das Zimmer an sich hätte gerne ein wenig größer sein dürfen, aber für 2 Nächte völlig ausreichend. Das Bad ist klein aber sehr sauber und bietet ebenfalls alles, was man braucht. WLAN uneingeschränkt leistungsstark. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Cute, cuter, cutest. Elia is the cutest. The sheets were comfy, the bed stiff yet plush. My wife enjoyed the balcony although the view was slightly over mediocre. The free, fresh cookies and eggs were a nice touch. The fridge did make brown noise but really, at the end of the day, I think it helped us sleep better (even though we had to wake up at 4:30am to catch our local bus to Heraklion to make our 9am Blue ferry—but this was delayed too). Good thing we remembered to leave our keys in the room.

A pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Chania, è un hotel super nuovo e arredato con stile. Il personale è sempre gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Siamo stati una settimana e ci hanno coccolato al 100%, dalla colazione ricca di dolci locali buonissimi e con lo yogurt greco più buono che abbia mangiato, il tutto con una vista spettacolare sul porto e sulla piscina in terrazza all’ultimo piano. Abbiamo anche provato il ristorante per cena, scegliendo il servizio in camera perché stanchi della giornata, e ci siamo gustati due buonissimi club sandwich sul balconcino della nostra camera. Tutto stupendo! Camera pulitissima e servizio di housekeeping impeccabile! Non mi sono mai trovata così bene in un hotel soggiornando per ben 7 notti.

Even though it is not ”perfect”, I absolutely loved this hotel! It is a small boutique hotel ideally situated on Chania's old harbour. Rooms are full of charm and of good size, you are in the middle of the action, and views are fabulous. The nature of the hotel comes with its own challenges, and perhaps this is what I should start with: - if you travel with large luggage, beware that the hotel has no lift and stairs are quite steep, so if so, you may prefer to ask for a room on the 1st floor. Some rooms also have internal mezzanines. - Wifi is really hit and miss - As other reviewers mentioned, it can be hard to get hot water and the system is fragile so that one morning there was none at all and they had to call a technician to fix it - The area is pedestrian - about 10 minutes (leisurely) walk to the bus station and the nearest road so best for people who like walking. Having said that, none of this bothered me personally. I loved my room and its decor, I found the bed really comfortable (though pillows were really hard), I loved the location, and the staff were lovely. There is a roof terrace with a view to the harbour, a mini fridge in the room if you like to keep some food, and everything was clean and fresh. I'll definitely be back!

GGastnutzerDie Lage des Hotels ist definitv sehr gut und ein Plus Punkt.
Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Dame an der Bar hat uns ein Willkommensdrink gegeben. Das Hotel wirkt am Eingang recht hochwertig und man fuehlt sich gut aufgehoben. Ich würde sagen es hat kein 5-Sterne Niveau, aber so um die 3,5-4 absolut.
Das Zimmer das wir bekommen hatten, hatte leider keine Fenster (in der Beschreibung stand es gibt eins). Kein Problem für uns. Unsere größter Kritikpunkt ist, da es in der Dusche keine Tür gab, weil diese entfernt wurde. Somit konnte man leider nicht richtig duschen ohne Wasser nach außen zu spritzen. Als wir es beim Empfang bescheid gegeben hatten, gab es leider nur ein „wussten wir gar nicht“ und lieber ans klingelnde Telefon gehen und den Gast stehen lassen. Wer soll es dann wissen wenn nicht das Hotel, leider somit weit entfernt von 5-Sterne Service. Eine kleine Entschuldigung hatten wir erwartet, und das man sich dem Problem annimmt. Finde ich wirklich Schade, dass man so viel Geld und dann ein Zimmer bekommt, welches nicht dem Standard entspricht und eigentlich nicht auf dem gewollten Niveau ist um an Gäste vergeben zu werden. Zum Glück haben wir nur einen Tag hier verbracht und vorher in einem richtigen 5-Sterne Hotel die Woche verbracht.
Ich kann hier wirklich nur overall 3/5 Sterne geben.

Wir durften 4 entspannte Tage im Casa Delfino verbringen. Die Lage in der Altstadt von Chania ist bezaubernd. Das Boutique-Hotel ist umrahmt von kleinen Gässchen für Fußgänger. Man ist nach 50 Metern an der Hafenmole mit den zahlreichen Restaurants. Nachts ist es völlig ruhig. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen phantaischen Blick über die Stadt und den Hafen. Unsere Suite war bestens ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel. Zu erwähnen ist das üppige Frühstück, das - bei gutem Wetter - im herrlichen Innenhof eingenommen wird. Besonders auffällig ist die Herzlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter - hier insbesondere auch Chrissy vom Empfang! Alle Wünsche werden einem von den Augen abgelesen. Die Restaurant-Emfehlungen waren bestens. Wir kommen gerne bald wieder.

GGuest UserGlad we booked a taxi from Chania airport to the hotel through the hotel as the night porter met the taxi and walked us to the hotel, about 8 mins from the back road. We are so grateful for this as we wouldn’t have found it so quick and with a lot of luggage. Access from the harbour side is probably easier to find the hotel but further from any road or parking. He then took us to our room and the hotel up the alleyway opposite where breakfast is served and explained everything, excellent service and very friendly. All the staff have been very friendly and helpful. View from room and balcony was amazing, right on the harbour, with plenty of good restaurants and cars around. Sound proofing is good too with very little noise coming through at night. Comfy bed and good air conditioning. Beach towels available from reception with nearest beach at Nea Chora 20 min walk away and lovely. Breakfast is served up the alleyway in a sister hotel, not far. Self serving with most things you want fruit, cereals, nuts, yoghurt, honey, toast, cheese, ham, fried eggs, bacon, sausage, various sweet and savoury pastries, Greek specialities ( the stuffed mushrooms were very tasty). We didn’t use the roof terrace as we had our own balcony. Negatives - We were in Room 7 (only 8) , the wooden shutters do not cover the top of the balcony window and doors therefore letting in the light from sunrise. For those less mobile or unsteady on your feet, there’s no lift and no handrail on the curved stairs for the upper floors. But would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserZunächst einmal werde ich die negativen Punkte heraus, die nicht ganz sind, nur 3 kleine Punkte. 1 war das Badezimmer ....Sehr klein, wir mussten in der Dusche stehen, um die Tür zu schließen, wenn wir das Badezimmer eintreten, da es nicht genug Raum war, um umzuziehen ! 2nd der Fernseher ließ die Stationen verloren, daher konnten wir kein Fernsehen sehen. Und schließlich hatte der ”Kleidungstabelle” den Spiegel so hoch, ich musste auf 2 Kissen sitzen, um mich zu sehen (und ich bin nicht eine kurze Person !) Aber für den Rest .......Das enorme Bett gab uns die besten Schlafe je, es war ein geräumiges Zimmer, Sehr ruhig, da wir nicht einen Meerblick hatten, der unsere Stimmung fit! Das Frühstück war im Hotel nahe an der Tür und hatte ein sehr luxuriöses Frühstück auf Angebot von frischem Obst bis frische Eier ......Frisches Backwaren viele Auswahl. Das Mädchen hinter dem Country, denke ich, Constantina war extrem hilfreich. Sie hat uns sogar einen Frühstücksbeutel gemacht, als wir am Tag, an dem wir verlassen waren, war sehr früh, was wir sehr beachtet von ihnen. Insgesamt war es eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung

GGastnutzerIm nur einem weiblichen Schlafzimmer. Essen ist schön, kostengünstig. Einrichtungen sind sehr sauber. Personal extrem hilfreich. Dieses ist ein sehr ruhiges Hostel. Schönes Pool. Nicht alle Zimmer haben Luftkon. Niemand sagt Ihnen, ob Balkontüren oder Fenster offen sind- die Luftkon-Schalter aus. Die Vermietung von Handtüchern ist €3. Ich kann nur schuldig sein, dass sie sehr streng sind in keiner Sozialisierung in Gemeinden nach 11:00 Uhr- aber für einige Menschen über kann ein positives

Ich kann Ihnen definitiv sagen, dass es einer der besten Urlaube war, die ich je hatte, voller netter Leute und großartigem griechischen Wetter. Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen, Sie haben viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Lidl ist nur 5-7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Neben dem Hotel gab es ein tolles Café – gehen Sie weiter. Neben dem Hotel gibt es eine Bushaltestelle, von der aus Sie ins Stadtzentrum von Chania gelangen, wo Sie einen schönen Spaziergang machen und ein köstliches Abendessen genießen können. Das Hotel selbst ist im Apartmentstil gehalten und hat einen fantastischen Pool, der immer gut gepflegt und sauber war. Jeden Tag sorgten die Mädchen dafür, dass unser Zimmer sauber war und wir neue Handtücher hatten, und sie stellten ziemlich beeindruckende Arrangements aus Blumen und Handtüchern her 😁 Der Manager des Hotels war äußerst freundlich und ging immer effizient auf alle unsere Wünsche ein. Das Frühstück war köstlich und insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt äußerst angenehm. Besuchen Sie dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall, um die unglaubliche griechische Gastfreundschaft zu spüren.

TTALAL MOHAMMAD HUSSEINYThis hotel has a great location, very nice room, and a huge bed. The price is not cheap or super expensive but rather somewhere in between. The thing I didn't like was that the reception was physically far away from the actual hotel rather than downstairs like most hotels. The hotel reception is a group that represents multiple hotels in the area so getting in contact with them to express any concern can be a bit frustrating. The bathroom is very clean, new, and the room is also big. The internet connection is also great.

CCoryZhang777What I liked about Evans apartments is the decoration. it's a quiet cute stone apartment very close to the beach with many cafes and bars nearby. The host is very welcoming , the bed is comfortable there was an Illy coffee machine with two capsules and everything you may need in the kitchen. The shower was okay but the water got cold for the third person to shower. I did not like the fact that we wanted a separate one bedroom apartment but they air condition was only in the big room so we had to leave the door open for the third person to get some cold air. Also have in mind that the blinds don't block the sun. So if you have a problem with light getting in your sleep make sure you take your mask with you. In general I would stay there again if I wanted something near the center of Chania.

GGuest UserYou’ll walk up 50 marble steps; elevators are forbidden in Old Town. You’ll have trouble finding taxis; streets are pedestrian-only. You’ll talk with Reception by phone and email. Your reward will be one of the most magical balconies in Greece, at the top of Chania’s Old Venetian Harbor. We booked the 4th floor One-Bedroom Suite at the Elia Estia Erato building of Elia Hotels and loved every minute. Elia Hotels Group has renovated historic buildings around Chania into over 20 boutique hotels and apartments. It’s not the Ritz, but you can get that in the US. In Greece, the glitches are worth it to experience Chania up close. Old Venetian Harbor doesn’t just glitter like a storybook–it is a storybook, with more history than anything Disney could imagine. On the stairway landing was a full set of knight's armor (photo). Our balcony had a panoramic view of colorful baroque buildings, dramatic fortresses, an historic mosque and the medieval lighthouse–all reflecting in the harbor at sunset and at night (photos, video). Below us around the harbor were two dozen fine seaside restaurants. In walking distance were huge 16th century monuments to explore and beaches with even more great restaurants. Mr. Antonis Yiakoumakis, Ms. Despina Liakou, and Ms. Maria at Elia Zampeliou Hotel Reception a few streets away (which was our Reception Desk), helped us so much! They showed why Crete is famous for hospitality–even when coping with historic buildings. Historic buildings, for example, don’t have a lot of furniture. There were no drawers for clothing, no place to put modern clam-shell luggage. But when we asked for a luggage stand, they somehow got a large extra table up 3 flights of stairs for us. When I needed smaller bills, Mr. Yiakoumakis personally took me and my 50 Euro bill door to door among local tavernas as waiters whizzed by with heavy trays, until we found a cashier with change. The ambiance was superb, the local food is fantastic, and most important, the people are wonderful. If you need anything, call or email; they answer quickly.
