What a great find this Hotel was! My wife and I regularly travel and have visited numerous of the Greek islands, but this was the first visit to Crete. The hotel and pool are modern (It looked so new I queried when it was built), well equipped and has everything you could need. (It is located just outside Chania itself, but the public transport system works well, the bus ride into town is a max 10 mins and runs every 20- we were going to walk until the heat wave hit!) Rooms are big, spotless and offer everything you need on holiday, the aircon and fridge were a godsend! The bar and restaurant offer a wide variety, the quality of which ensured we 'stayed in' to eat on 3 of the 7 nights! - Great value. This Hotel is rated as a 3 star - in which case, it is a top level 3 star!! The massive difference is the staff, they are all 5 stars, they could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The infamous brothers Andreas and Nikos were always available to offer any advice we needed, facilitated car hire (There is ample car parking) and suggested locations to visit, which were all spot on. They were also happy to recommend where to eat out - My top 2 were both in Chatzimichali Ntaliani Street in Town (Andreas will provide a map which he marks - it was easy to find) 1 Throubi 2 Oivonieio (both offer local cuisine of a very high standard) They also ensured our last day was completely stress less, even with a late flight back the high quality facilities there have separate areas to shower and change. Nothing was too much trouble, and we got the feeling that the staff are all happy to work there, it was like the proverbial 'one big happy family’. A special mention to Annie, who despite our flight in being over 3 hours late, still managed to ensure we got into our room at 3:30am without any problems. If you are travelling to Chania, I can't recommend this hotel enough.
