3-Sterne-Hotels in Chambéry

This hotel was a great surprise. For a budget price we got a big studio room with balcony and kitchenette. Our room had two tables, an easy chair and two other chairs, a microwave, snazzy coffee maker, cooker, sink and fridge. The shower room and toilet were separate - not good design in my opinion. The welcome was friendly and the receptionist spoken good English. We parked in the big car park opposite (reasonable price.) I think they might have their own car parking somewhere, not sure. It was an easy walk to the main square with nice restaurants, we ate at Cafe de Lyon which was lovely. The breakfast buffet was good but with staff from the Parisien school of hospitality, and no decaff coffee.

This hotel is ok. It is well located and offers a good quality breakfast. However, the wifi is patchy and some of the rooms are very 1980’s in decor ( brown and lime green!). We were given one of these on the 3rd floor and so requested a move to a more modern room. This could only be facilitated for 2 of our 3 night stay. The modernised rooms are nice. No minibar though. If you are staying for just a night or so and want a central hotel then it’s a good choice but it doesn’t offer anything else much. The public areas are a bit small and cramped which lead to some issues at breakfast with everyone trying to get to the food!

First time we have stayed in a Campinile and we were pleasantly surprised. Stayed for four nights. Nice quiet room with everything you need. Best bit is the electric blind that turns day into night. Only noise we heard was a late arriving coach load of Italians but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Restaurant menu a bit limited and service a bit erratic. Breakfast not bad. Room cleaning non existent on Sunday night.

L'hôtel vaut d'abord pour sa situation géographique proche de la gare et du centre-ville ancien de Chambéry. Très bon accueil. Si le standard Ibis est respecté avec comme d'habitude une très bonne literie et un petit-déjeuner buffet servi tôt, cet établissement nécessiterait un lifting car les communs en particulier sont vieillots. Les huisseries, même si elles ne nuisent pas à l'isolation phonique de la chambre, sont assez loin du standard habituel d'un Styles. Le besoin de rénovation vaut aussi pour la salle de bains. À noter, aussi l'absence de parking privé mais il existe des parkings publics payants à proximité.

Sehr zu empfehlen, kostengünstig zu bleiben, die Umgebung ist sehr gut. Schöne Umgebung, gute geografische Lage, bequemer Transport, komfortable und sanitäre Räume, Servicepersonal ist sehr begeistert, Einrichtungen sind sehr menschlich, Hochgeschwindigkeitsnetzsignal ist gut, die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist gut. Das Design des kleinen Pendels des Raumes ist ebenfalls sehr charakteristisch. Checken Sie das nächste Mal ein.

Schönes Hotel, Parkhaus, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal, Zimmer ok Preis eher am oberen Limit im Vergleich zu anderen Accor-Hotels Gelegentlich sollten die Zimmer/Bad wieder einmal renoviert werden. Grosszügige Hotellobby.

Even though we Absolutely Could Not go to our room before check in (but we could leave our bags)(the French & their rules!) this hotel was fabulous. Great location, efficient welcome, lovely bar, a swim or sauna if we’d fancied, a huge room with a comfortable huge bed, decent sized bathroom-oh yes it was all there-& the best bit-a massive window the whole width of the room, which you could completely open & if you’re on the 7th floor, superb views of Chambery & surrounding mountains. Magic.

Located a 15 minutes walk from the city center, with free parking, this Budget place was perfect for stopover on the way to the South of France. Very friendly welcome, rooms are basic but OK and clean. Our daughter fell sick during the night and Guillaume from the front desk was very helpful and understanding. Great job well done!
