This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

I was looking for a hotel near the airport and near the grocery and restaurants during a recent trip to Cebu. My usual stay had a big price increase and since it was far from the airport, I tried looking for a new hotel. I used to stay at other hotels near Felicity and thought that the prices were a bit steep for hotels without pools. I chanced on them while browsing Google Maps and gave them a call. It's good that they had a vacancy and so I made my way from the client site to the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the bright lobby. The single room, though, had a weird layout with the sink just behind the door but not inside the bathroom. Still it was value for money because it had hot and cold water, a cool air conditioner, a refrigerator, a flat screen TV and clean sheets. Since it was just beside the highway, I expected to hear scooters darting across. Well, most of the noise came from fellow guests walking through the corridors after making bar crawls, I guess. Aside from that, the hotel is great value for money. I'm looking forward to staying with them in future trips.

Das Hotel verfügt über eine erstklassige Umgebung und wunderschöne Gärten. Die beiden Swimmingpools und der Privatstrand reichen aus, um ein paar Tage lang zu entspannen. Der Strand verfügt über eine Wasseraufbereitungsanlage und ist daher relativ klar Das Ufer- und Fischfütterungserlebnis ist sehr gut. Das Strandpersonal hat die Initiative ergriffen, Handtücher, Obst und Sandspielzeug bereitzustellen Es fehlte etwas an dem alten Shangri-La-Stil. Insgesamt war es sehr gut für einen Familienurlaub geeignet.

Ich würde es 3/5 für meinen 3-Nacht-Stadt geben! Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig. Es ist von der Lautmusik oder Geräusche von anderen Orten entfernt. Die Zimmer sind auch neu. Es ist günstig, so dass Sie erhalten, was Sie bezahlt haben. Die Mitarbeiter am Front Desk können ein wenig mehr willkommen sein, ehrlich zu sein. Sie werden sich nur auf Sie beobachten, wenn Sie vor der Rezeption passieren, vor allem während der Nachmittagszeiten-Schicht Mädchen und Junge und die 2 Jungs am Morgen sind die kalteste Person je. Ich denke, was fehlt! Sie finden es schwer, Ihnen sogar einen Hi oder hallo zu heißen! Sie sollten von den Mitarbeitern der 3-Sterne-Hotels in Bohol oder Palawan lernen. Obwohl ihr Hotel nicht neu ist, sie sogar die Erfahrung mit einem ehrlichen und willkommenen Lächeln aus. Es wäre auch besser gewesen, wenn sie eine Minibar oder eine Wasserkocher, um etwas Kaffee oder etwas zu haben. Wenn Sie auf einem Budget und keine Probleme mit unweltfreundlichen Mitarbeiter im Hotel, Dieses Hotel wird empfohlen!

Wir haben unseren 2-Nacht-Unterkunft gebucht. Maganda Ang Zimmer napaka geräumig. Möchten ergänzende Kaffee und Wasser na din und Toiletten. Sie bieten mat sa cr maganda iwas dulas. Auch Ang Blick sa Zimmer namin maganda! Esp pag Sonnenuntergang. Wifi ist gut, Ladestation OK dn sehr wichtig für uns ksi wir reisen bcos von Arbeit. Lage ist sehr gut, in der Nähe von SM und Malapit sakayan zurück zum Flughafen. Aber wir haben wenige Sorgen lang während unseres Aufenthalts, matagagal mag dren ng Tubig nach der Liga. Auch antagal maka Check in 2pm na di pa dn kme nka Check in. Frühstücksbuffet ist ok, konti lg ang Variety pero goods na din. Bisher untergebracht junge Mitarbeiter insbesondere sa bagage area, Jungguard und mga Hauspflege. Danke Bayfront!

Good location with wide range of amenities. Hotel and room itself are clean, well-maintained with good internet connection. I came with my spouse and small kids, employees (like Riza and Girlie) were helpful and attentive to our needs. My family felt at home during our stay. Everything was very convenient. Good value for money.

Die Sraff sind schön. Nach dem Frühstück ließ ich mein Handy auf dem Tisch liegen und das Mädchen gab es mir zurück. Ich bin so dankbar dafür. Das Zimmer war ok, wenn man nicht wählerisch ist. Das Badezimmer ist wirklich klein. Um die Toilette zu benutzen, muss man nach dem Öffnen der Tür in die Dusche gehen und die Tür wieder schließen, um zur Toilette zu gelangen. Ich gehe davon aus, dass nicht alle Badezimmer denen des Zimmers entsprechen, in dem wir übernachtet haben.

The cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed for 15 days. The rooms was on 4th floor nice and clean. I say rooms because halfway through our stay our air conditioning unit gave out so we were relocated(for free) to another room. The employees were all kind and willing to help with everything we needed. Location is nice. Almost next to Ayala mall and the general area is safe and easy to navigate/find transport in the form of either jeepney or bus. Decor is a bit gloomy and outdated. That beige on the walls is the only thing I disliked. It is by no means a 5 star hotel but it's a bargain for its price(15 euros a night) anyone would be stupid to pass. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Cebu on a budget. We didn't taste their kitchen or visit the gym they have.

I stayed with my friend here for 4days and 3 nights so far so good most especially the service everytime we call for room service or order for foods they’re very accommodating. For their foods its was so good most specially their pork sinigang it’s so delicious and so worth the price, the servings is large and when I say large it is good for 4-6 people and sorry we really didn’t think of taking a pictures of the room since our mind at that time is occupied with something important

Das erste Zimmer (deluxe?) war eine kleine Katastrophe. Nachdem wir auf eine Suite umgebucht hatten, war aber alles ok. Arnulfo von der Rezeption war wirklich sehr bemüht. Die Anlage verfügt über verschiedene leckere Restaurants und eine lohnenswerte Spa-Einheit. Das Hotel liegt jedoch eher in einer ärmeren Gegend, sodass man sich einen Spaziergang um das Hotel direkt sparen kann. Leider gibt es auch keinen richtigen Sandstrand, eher Grobkieselig. Dafür kann man direkt am Hotel schnorcheln und ein bisschen was sehen. Insgesamt nicht schlecht
