No flexibility for a late check out (1 hour) unless you pay extra. High cost for the value it provides."

"I love this place, not only because the bay holds a profusion of bird life, but because the place is so peaceful. The people who work here are remarkably nice and friendly. The food is delicious--easily some of the best dinners I had in the 2 weeks I spent in Chile--and generously portioned. The rooms are wonderful--huge windows looking out onto a lawn and out over the bay. Sunrises are gorgeous. Sunsets even moreso. I've now stayed here twice for 5 nights each time and if work brings me back to Chiloe I will stay here again. February is the perfect time, but I would like to com in December when it would be even more peaceful."

"Wir verbrachten 4 Tage im Hotel Parque Quilquilco und genossen jede Minute. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und war immer bereit, unseren Bedürfnissen gerecht zu werden. Sol und Priscilla auf dem Desk hatten eine wunderbare Ausrichtung. Im Restaurant möchten wir den Service von Diego Fernández hervorheben. Diego spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch und ist proaktiv, freundlich und diligent. Er ging aus seinem Weg, um das besondere Essen, das mein Mann brauchte, zu bekommen. Er hat wirklich einen Unterschied gemacht. Wir lieben auch unser schön dekoriertes, warmes Schlafzimmer, schöne Dusche und wunderschöne Aussichten auf den Cove und die Wiesen. Wenn Sie planen, Chiloé zu besuchen, müssen Sie sicher bleiben im Parque Quilquilco."

"A charming hotel, a palafito (stilt-house built out over the tidal cove) with a lovely view of a working harbour and terriific light. It's central, well-run, clean, very spare and simple but comfortable. The big problem is structural: unless your room is on the top floor it's like having giants dancing overhead; added to this, all pluming noises - baths running, toilets flushing, taps turning on and off - are clearly audible in the rooms on each side or below. This is difficult to fix, so probably very big earplugs are your best bet. The extremely fixable problem is the wifi, which really didn't work in our room; we stood on the landing or went down to the cafe to get a signal. Wifi extenders would solve this simple problem and I hope the hotel does so, because it's a pity not to be able to give the place a full five stars."
