Modernes, stilvolles Hotel mit erstaunlicher Aussicht auf Sesimbra Marina und Hügel (von der oberen Terrasse Suite). Das Personal brachte uns auch eine komplimentäre Flasche von Schaum- und Mini-Kachen für den Geburtstag meiner Frau, die sehr geschätzt wurde. Auch beim Frühstück eine gute Auswahl. Insgesamt, ein toller Ort zum Aufenthalt in Sesimbra.

Das Hotel ist komplett veraltet, als wäre es in den 90er Jahren stehen geblieben. Der Teppich in unserem Zimmer war dreckiger als jeder Teppich den ich in Studenten WGs je miterlebt habe. Das komplette Hotel ist in dem 90er Jahre Holz verkleidet (siehe Bild vom Schrank im Zimmer). Ich kann wirklich die guten Bewertungen nicht ganz verstehen das Hotel ist wirklich geschmacklos. Die Hotelgänge sind dunkel mit blauem, welligem Teppich, die Schalter in den Zimmern (Klimaanlage, etc) sind vergilbt - warscheinlich noch von den Zeiten in denen man auf den Zimmern rauchen durfte. Der Service war gut, aber auch nicht überragend. Sehr wenig Parkplätze vorhanden, wir mussten nach jedem Ausflug ewig auf Parkplatz-Suche gehen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Wirklich schön an dem Hotel ist der umwerfende Ausblick auf den Strand und das Meer. Wer keinen Wert auf Einrichtung legt und auf Teufel-komm-raus ein Strandhotel mit guter Lage möchte ist hier richtig. Allen anderen Rate ich ab. Das Hotel ist wie eine Zeitkapsel zurück in die 90er Jahre.

Auch unter CV19-Bedingungen erwarte ich von einem Hotel, welches sich vier Sterne an die Fassade heftet, erheblich mehr. Jeden Morgen das gleiche Prozedere, Kaffee in ToGo-Bechern in einer Papiertüte zusammen mit einem Apfel und Holzmesser, in Alufolie eingewickeltes „Sandwich“ mit immer demselben Belag ( Scheibe Käse Scheibe Kochs*****en trocken ohne Butter). Mit etwas Glück hat es die Bedienung geschafft den Kaffee nicht umzuschütten und alles ist trocken. Aber das eine Stück Obst nun schön warm. Oder aber es ist alles durchnässt und der Tag wie auch das Frühstück „versaut“. Keine Spur von einem Teller, einer normalen Tasse, normalem Besteck etc. Essen aus der Hotelküche ist den Preis leider nicht wert. Carpaccio schön angemacht und in der Mitte vollkommen gefroren, also frisch ist anders. Der Hamburger zum einen „mini“ und im trockenen Brötchen welches auseinander fällt beim Anschauen (13€) sind ein Witz, leider nicht lustig. Bach nunmehr mehreren Aufenthalten, gezwungenermaßen, da alles Andere geschlossen ist, werde ich sofort wechseln sobald Alternativen vorhanden sind. Hotel selber ist sauber neu und modern eingerichtet, aber dues wird zunichte gemacht durch die oben beschriebenen Umstände SCHADE!!!!!

Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! Das Hotel ist genau wie Sie von den Fotos erwartet, mit geschmackvollen, sofistikierten, individuellen Zimmerdekoration. Es ist ein weit von den kalten, unpersönlichen Kette Hotels. Das Gebäude und die Zimmer sind eine perfekte Kombination von Authentizität und Modernität. Das Personal ist charmant, aufmerksam, sorgfältig und hyper-reagierend. Perfekte Ein- und Auscheckung. Große Lage, gutes Soundproofing, sehr gutes Bett; aber ich bedauere die 2 Einzelbetten für ein paar. Gründe für die 3 von 5 Bewertung: Sie haben den Eindruck, dass die Aesthetik der Zimmer (die wir lieben) viel Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet wurde, aber es gibt einen echten Mangel an Speicherplatz, der fast nicht existiert; dies ist noch für unsere 2 Nachts, aber ich komme nicht zurück für einen längeren Aufenthalt, und damit mit mehr Zubehör. Ein weiteres schwarzes Marke ist das Frühstück: es wird im Backhaus auf der ersten Etage genommen. Während das RM Guesthouse ein Kakao ist, ist das Backzimmer sicherlich hell und sauber, aber nicht bis zum Schrauben. Was noch mehr ist, die Wahlen sind relativ begrenzt: Warum nicht eine Formel mit einer Wahl von heißem Getränk (und nicht nur Kaffee), eine Viennoiserie aus (und nicht nur Croissants), etc. ? In meinen Hotelwahlen ist Frühstück ein wichtiges Element, und wie erläutert, ist es meiner Meinung nach eine lange Abstand von dem, was ein RM Guesthouse angeboten werden sollte.

Ficamos hospedados nesse hotel por 9 dias, quando visitamos Setubal. Nosso quarto era grande e confortável. O café da manhã é farto e delicioso. O bar e o restaurante são muito bons, com pratos deliciosos, preparados pelos chefes Miguel Cardoso e David. As duas moças que nos atenderam no restaurante e no bar, Ines Souza e Rute, são muito gentis. E o maitre, Alione, que sempre nos recepcionava, perfeito. O atendimento da recepção foi simpático e atencioso, principalmente por parte da recepcionista Diana.

I visited Portugal on a group tour that included stays at three pousadas. A big takeaway from my experience is that pousadas are remarkably variable. Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes, was fantastic, while Conimbriga Hotel Do Paço was abysmal. This one, Pousada Castelo Palmela, was somewhere in-between. I recommend you choose your pousada carefully. The positives of Pousada Castelo Palmela are many and significant. It’s a magnificent building with fantastic views. I recommend you save some time to explore the fortress the hotel is part of, and, when weather permits, you go to the west side of the pousada’s grounds to enjoy a lovely sunset. However, the staff of this pousada could improve. I got the impression that the place was understaffed, and not all staff were fully trained. Dining was disappointing; the pousada’s restaurant has limited capacity and books up quickly, and there are few if any local restaurants to use as an alternative. To solve this, you could book half board, or reserve your dinner table well in advance. However, I don’t recommend that because, as well as being small relative to the number of guest rooms, the restaurant isn’t very good. My dinners here were frankly awful – uninspired and badly served, often cold. I recommend you go grocery shopping and bring food with you when you return to the hotel, or use Uber Eats to have your dinner delivered (as I did).

Hotel was great for what we needed, free parking and close to the venue we needed for a show. Problems they are going through refurbishment so had to switch rooms because of noise. And needed help to understand a/c settings. No need for online check in. Still had to go through the whole process at check in. Staff friendly. Room and bathroom standard and more than ample for short stay. We were there one night.

Not a pretty looking hotel from the outside but very modern inside. Very professional staff and a high level of service. We had difficulty with the parking garage which was difficult to access and egress. Rooms were quite large, clean and comfortable with a small balcony and a small water view. We had lunch in their beautiful dining room which was a set menu of 20 euros, the food was excellent and very well presented, service was superb. Breakfast was superior with tons of variety. We were also given a free drink at the bar. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Super schönes,modernes Hostel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und absolut perfektem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sehr sauber und die Lage ist für den Preis definitiv empfehlenswert, viel kann fußläufig erreicht werden und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind auch direkt um die Ecke.
