Very nice hotel

Luogo magico, con vista lago favolosa, terrazza panoramica dove fare colazione godendo del panorama, zona tranquilla e silenziosa. A due passi dal centro storico...che dire peefetta fuga romantica!!

Alla ricezione,dopo aver chiesto il cognome,mi hanno chiesto se saldavo subito,la stanza era con le pareti con la pittura scrostata,e la carta da parati scollata,il necessario per il bagno si limitava ad una saponetta e una cuffia da bagno per capelli.Ma la cosa più brutta era la finestra della camera con le persiane che non si chiudevano e hanno fatto filtrare la luce tutta la notte,non esiste una doppia tenda,non abbiamo chiuso occhio.

Struttura molto bella, specialmente il terrazzo sul quale abbiamo fatto colazione, vista lago, molto suggestivo!

Sehr gemütliches familiäres Hotel in bester Lage mit Blick auf den Albano-See! Das centro storico ist fussläufig gut erreichbar, in max. 15 Minuten erreicht man die Sommerresidenz des Papstes. Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Alessia spricht außerdem fließend deutsch!

Firstly I have to say this hotel is in a beautiful location. Secondly it’s the lovely staff that make this place. Unfortunately I arrived sick to this villa and they took care of me with such ease and were so helpful. They could not do enough. They were professional and courteous and I believe this is what makes a good management team. I cannot remember everyone’s names but it’s the lovely woman in reception and the other gentleman who helped me at the bar area with food or cappuccino early in the morning. Also I thank housekeeping as well for helping me with any of my needs. All in all I would recommend this hotel. As the better 5 star hotels in the area. Rooms are clean and there is a welcoming energy to everyone. Courteous and kind professional management means a lot to someone who was away on business and also was not very well… it’s just what I needed to make me feel more at home!!!! Thank you all :) So well done team!!! I recommend your hotel completely!!

Old building with dated decor and ideas. Simple room, comfortable bed. Great Lake view.No room service and no meals unless you are in a group. Simple breakfast with malfunctioning coffee machine. We were in a group,the dinners weren’t great, one being awful. Hazardous short walk into town. This hotel needs to rethink its act. Could be much better.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in May 2023. We were a bit apprehensive based on previous reviews but it was fine and good value for the money especially compared to the lodging prices in Rome. The room was basic and clean but definitely not fancy --- our lake view was lovely. The breakfast was also fine but nothing special. Most of the hotel staff was helpful although twice we had problems with the staff helping us to get a taxi. The hotel is in somewhat of a remote location, so if you don't have a car you really need to plan ahead in order to get a taxi as they're not roaming around and Uber doesn't work in Castel Gandolfo.

Beautiful location very disappointed with the room, peeling wallpaper shower not fit for purpose no restaurant, indoor swimming pool not available when asked about restaurant told you can walk to the town plenty there

The hotel is old, the rooms are simple and the bathroom was worn out. The hotel is very well situated with a very nice view, but badly needs to be redecorated. Staff was not helpfull I would not reconmend this hotel.

Bella la location ma personale sgradevole, hanno voluto il pagamento anticipato e non abbiamo potuto lasciare le macchine fino alle 11 del mattino , adducendo una scusa di un evento che poi non si rivelato tale . Colazione molto basica per il locale e la spesa.

Location bella . Tuttavia evidenzio alcune carenze : camera senza di doppi cuscini e copriletti di media pensantezza. Dotata di un solo comodino e phon non funzionante . Tutto rimediato solo su esplicita richiesta ( ciò che non ci aspetto visto l’apparente livello). Bizzarro il pagamento anticipato all’arrivo. Colazione estremamente basica .

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte in un fine settimana settembre per goderci relax Castel Gandolfo. Parcheggio comodissimo, posizione ottima a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Struttura stile liberty pulita e molto bella. Spazi comuni arredati con cura e molto belli. Panorama sul lago meraviglioso. Personale molto professionale e gentile. Camera con vista lago spaziosa e molto bella. Buona colazione

Venimos desde México, me he hospedado con mi familia en este bello hotel con una vista espectacular al Lago Albano, con una locación muy conveniente para ir caminando al centro de Castel Gandolfo. Al momento de mi partida olvidé joyería y el hotel inmediatamente me lo ha hecho saber, regresé por ellos y muy amablemente me los han devuelto, recomendamos este lugar para hospedarse si quieren disfrutar de la mejor atención y amabilidad
