Die Anlage ist schön und die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Leider gibt es ein ernsthaftes Reinigungsproblem in den Zimmern, Haare werden von einem Zimmer in das andere gewischt, Toilettartikel und frische Handtücher nicht nachgelegt. Auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeption wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es im Hotel keine Staubsauger gäbe (??). Die Reinigung der Zimmer ist äußerst mangelhaft und entspricht insbesondere nach einer Pandemie nicht den Mindestanforderungen an ein Hotel der gehobenen Kategorie. Für die Benutzung des Innenpools und der Sauna wird extra verrechnet, eine reine Abzocke. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gibt es keine Variation, eintönig und geschmackloses Obst aus der Konserve.. Während man sich beim Buffet anstellt werden die Tische abgeräumt, d.h. wenn man mit dem Essen zurückkommt muss man wieder nach Kaffee und Besteck fragen. Amscheinend wird das Personal angewiesen schnell abzuräumen. Dieses Hotel bedient den typischen Massentourismus, hier geht es mehr um Quantität als Qualität. Zum Glück haben wir unseren Aufenthalt verkürzt und im Radisson Gran Canaria Resort verbracht, hier wird man als Gast noch wertgeschätzt. Das Radisson Gran Canaria Mogan war leider enttäuschend und kann für einen erholsamen Urlaub nicht empfohlen werden.

Der erste Eindruck war recht ansprechend. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Allerdings hatten sie beim Einchecken vergessen, uns eine KeyCard für das Eingangstor zu geben. Das fiel uns dann auf die Füße, als wir vor verschlossener Tür standen und nicht ohne Hilfe anderer in die Anlage kamen. Im Apartment angekommen, begrüßte uns eine große Terrasse, ein kleines, aber nettes Wohnzimmer mit Couch und Fernseher, eine kleine Küche mit fast allem, was man so im Urlaub braucht, ein kleines Minibadezimmer und ein Schlafzimmer. Das gesamte Apartment roch etwas muffig. Auch nach längerem Lüften änderte dies sich nicht wirklich. Das Mobiliar der Küche war sehr abgewohnt. Also keine ”Wohlfühlküche”. Positiv, ein Wasserhahn, aus dem man Trinkwasser zapfen konnte. Somit entfiel das ”schleppen” von Wasserflaschen. Ein Minibadezimmer (nicht größer als 3 qm) war auch vorhanden, jedoch ist die eingebaute Dusche so eng gewesen, dass eine erwachsene Person nicht vernünftig duschen konnte. Die Duscharmatur ist in Kniehöhe angebaut! Das Toilettenbecken war extrem unhygienisch (streifig wahrscheinlich von Reinigungsmitteln) und auf der Toilettenbrille hatten sicher schon extrem viele Popöchen gesessen. Der Boden war nur mäßig sauber! Das Schlafzimmer unten war okay. Eine Wendeltreppe (6-Appartment) führte uns dann nach oben in das große Schlafzimmer mit einer kleinen Terrasse. Hier fanden wir ein relativ großes Bad vor. Nach kurzer Inspektion: Eine Abluft oder Fenster nach draußen war leider nicht vorhanden. Nur ein großes, rundes Kippfenster, das ins Wohnzimmer aufzuklappen war. Keine gute Idee, dieses Fenster nach einer längeren Sitzung zu öffnen. Ausgestattung: Toilette, Bidet, Waschtisch und einer Badewanne mit Duschabtrennung, also keine ”echte” Dusche. Die Wände hatten verschiedenen Fliesen, was auf einen vorangegangenen Wasserschaden hinwies; somit erklärte sich auch einiges im unteren Bad. Auch hier das gleiche Bild der Toilette wie im kleinen Bad. Eine Reinigung während unseres Aufenthaltes? Fehlanzeige! Nicht mal der normale Hausmüll wurde entsorgt. Das mussten wir selbst erledigen. Sonnenliegen vorab musste man am Tag zuvor buchen. Positiv: Durch Corona wurde der Poolbereich sehr sauber gehalten. Die Liegen standen recht weit voneinander entfernt und wurden auch mehrmals täglich nach der Benutzung desinfiziert. Negativ: Kein Supermarkt in der Nähe. Also immer mit dem Taxi nach Puerto Rico 14 € pro Tour oder Mogán 19 € pro Tour. Teurer Spaß also. Nicht nochmal.

Our stay was between 27/5 to 3/6 and consisted of two children and four adults in two rooms. On a superficial level the hotel, pools and other areas seemed well kept and clean. The rooms were clean but were of a very standard level. Our rooms were on the lowest level, I would not recommend this if your in need of a view from your balcony (the views from the hotel were very good). Most rooms seemed to have a balcony. The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. Every night entertainment was provided by staff in the form of dance and miming to music (akin to TOTP), the entertainment was actually better than I expected and enjoyable. The food however was a different matter altogether. The range on offer is broadly repeated there are three hot stations staffed by chefs replenishing and cooking before you. There are two cold stations with salads and deserts with three others for bread, soup, ice cream and cereals at breakfast. I became ill on Monday evening and suffered stomach cramps which became worse on Tuesday night with a headache and a number of trips to the loo. I got over it gradually but became really careful about what I ate from the buffet. On our final night another member of our party also became ill which resulted in much the same as described above. Prior to the second bought of illness as described above the adults in my party took part in some of the games held at the resort to help adults mix, through this we got chatting to some Brits who without prompting asked if we had been ill, further they explained to us that three of their party were ill and that they had noticed ambulances taking residents away on drips. None of us had previously heard about this but their experiences seemed to tally with ours. Finally at the Airport while chatting to some other Brits they also told us (unprompted) much the same with them witnessing people being taken away from the hotel in a number of ambulances. Ultimately it seems that my party and I got away lightly and we incredibly fortunate that the children were not struck down.

Just got home from a week here. Very very nice hotel,everything is new and clean. Pool is not heated but I went in anyway,and the pool area is lovely with plenty of sun-beds for everyone. We were on the 3rd floor with great views of Puerto Rico. Sun almost all day. There are rooms with a jacuzzi below but they didn’t have the views like the higher rooms.Our room had a lovely balcony which we used a few nights after eating out. Just to sit with a drink and look out.There’s not a restaurant as such, but a great little pool bar that’s open till 4. Foods good and happy hour is 12-1. Staff we met were all very friendly. Dressed very smartly too. Housekeeping do an excellent job too.On our last night out, somehow managed to lose my room key.!! On check out explained to the young lady on the reception,expecting to pay a charge for this. But it wasn’t necessary which I thought was nice. I never lose anything so unsure how I managed to do it. Few cocktails too many maybe.. There are a lot of steps to/from the main streets/bars/shops, but you kinda get used to them. Taxis are quite cheap €3.85 on the meter. There’s a big market on a Friday in Mogan. Get the public bus 1 or 91 from down the bottom of town bus station. It costs €3.10 for two of us 1 way. Does get busy though, so you may have to stand up.

Die Lage des Parador ist großartig - dazu kommt die Professionalität und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und passt vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der einzige Minuspunkt: Kostenpflicht des Spa-Bereichs auch bei einem Aufenthalt länger als 4 Nächte, und nur schwimmen/ Poolnutzung geht nicht.

Wir waren von diesem Hotel sehr überrascht, hatten wir doch 'nur' ein 3-Sterme-Haus gebucht - unsere Erwartungen wurden in allen Belangen weit übertroffen. Aber der Reihe nach: - das Personal in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. In dieser Form noch nicht oft erlebt - Hotel und Zimmer zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut ok. Auch keine Lärmbelästigung, weder vom Pool, noch der Straße, was aber wohl auch der Lage des Zimmers jenseits der 40er lag. - Frühstück und Abendessen vollkommen ok. Für alle Unzufriedenen: es ist kein 4- oder 5-Sterne-Hotel, ich habe schon erheblich schlechter bei 4 Sternen gegessen. Der eigentliche Speisesaal ist zwar etwas groß, wir haben aber fast immer einen Platz im Aussenbereich gefunden, da war es angenehm, und die Bedienung durch Claudia und Andrea (so waren die Namen, glaube ich) sehr zuvorkommend. - der Pool ist sehr groß, es gibt mehr als ausreichend Liegen. Wir hatten auch nachmittags nach einem Ausflug keine Probleme, 2 freie Liegen zu finden. - die Wlan-Versorgung ist in allen Bereichen, auch am Pool, sehr gut. - grenzwertig fand ich die Abendunterhaltung, weil sehr oft die gleiche 3er-Combo gespielt hat. Hier hätte ich mir etwas mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Fazit: Wir waren mehr als zufrieden, haben weitaus mehr bekommen, als wir erwartet haben. Würden wir noch einmal auf diese Insel fahren (was aber nicht passieren wird), würden wir wieder das Don Miguel buchen.

Eine unglaubliche Erfahrung. Wunderschöne Umgebung mit herrlichen Pools. Der Aufenthalt war 10. Wir werden wieder hier übernachten.
