A Space in The City at Century Wharf

Good news: The Apartment itself (124 - two bedrooms at their "G" rate) was terrific - really surprisingly large for things of this type, well appointed nice view over water... Bad news: There were loads of attention to detail things wrong. The shower in the master bedroom didn't work, there was supposed to be soap provided, there were only two teaspoons, the batteries in the master bedroom TV remote had leaked and corded the remote, there were no hangers in the wardrobe, there was a dodgy electrical switch ... Good news: after I wrote them a long email of things that needed sorting they came the same day and sorted them (everything except the shower in the master bedroom). Bad news: The promised meet and greet was non-existent. Our car parking space was under a different building than the location of our apartment and we had to figure a lot of this out for ourselves - eg find out which floor the apartment was on by stopping the lift at each level to see! Good news: it's a short walk to the Bay, and the Cardiff Bay Station Bad news: There's only one train an hour to and from that station. You're pretty much going to have to use a car to visit the city centre (half hour walk through a dodgy area is the alternative). Overall conclusion: If they just made a bit more effort over small things like the quality of the utensils and proper light-stop curtains they could charge more for this. If coming back to Cardiff I would see what else was available first, but would definitely consider it.
