Fuorlovado 40

We are grateful to have booked this apartment. The host, Antonio, is very helpful and friendly, and offered us good recommendations of tourists spots nearby. The apartment is cozy, clean and the location is also good. We will recommend our friends choosing this place to stay if they go to Capri.

After arriving in Capri, I was contacted via WhatsApp and provided directions to the accommodation. I had a suitcase and came out to the city center to help. He recommended restaurants and even prepared champagne since it was our honeymoon. On the last day, I went to Blue Cape with my room key and it was so late that I couldn't take my suitcase, but he kindly took care of everything. This is a friendly, cost-effective accommodation that I recommend if you are going to Capri.

Just had the most amazing stay on Capri. This hotel was perfect, great location and lovely rooms. Modern clean and spacious. Antonio the contact was brilliant, met us in the square to get us to the hotel and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

You won't find a better location and value for money than Fuorlovado 40, which is 5 minutes by foot from cable car and Piazzetta (the main square). My room was quiet and exactly as in pictures, with a small terrace, full refrigerator and super comfortable bed. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Antonio, who manages the place, is a beautiful person, patient and helpful, and kept in touch on WhatsApp with recommendations and responded to all my queries throughout my stay! I fell in love with Capri and Fuorlovado. Thank you!

Fuorlovado40 was an absolute gem! It’s central to everything on Capri. Coffee, gelato, dining are all steps away. Our room was beautiful and the bed/pillows were excellent. We were on the ground floor and had a nice private terrace with a couch which we used morning and evening. Our room had coffee and lots of nice goodies, all gratis. Antonio was the perfect host. He was charming and full of information and recommendations for things to do during our stay. The restaurants he recommended were excellent. We will stay here again when we return to Capri! This lovely guest house on Capri is a gem! Located a short four minute walk from the very center of Capri, the Piazzetta, the Fuorlovado 40 guest house (the name is the same as its address) is clean, equipped with modern conveniences (WiFi; good water pressure; efficient A/C; with a nice little private terrace) and conveniently located near the heart of Capri for shopping, dining, or beautiful walks overlooking the sea along Capri’s south shore. The best part of our stay was the friendly and informative communication with the guest house manager, Antonio, who provided a helpful stream of information via WhatsApp about our reservation and our stay. Antonio helpfully arranged for us to leave our bags at the guest house in the morning after we arrived on an early ferry from Sorrento. That arrangement worked perfectly, and we were able to explore Anacapri with day-tripping friends until mid-afternoon. We then returned to the guest house, where Antonio greeted us with a small welcome basket of drinks and treats, along with his personal recommendations on places to eat, drink, or get the best views on Capri. He is a gracious and amiable host, with friendly and informed advice about how to enjoy a stay on this beautiful island. For our departure date, Antonio arranged convenient and seamless luggage pickup from our room that was reasonable and reliable. We really appreciate his advice and arrangements! Our only regret is that we had just one night to stay in this beautiful guest house. We plan to return, and hopefully for two or even three nights, to allow ample time for walking the beautiful trails up to Villa Jovis, down to the Marina Piccola…..or to enjoy a Spritz at one of the places with a view that Antonio recommends.

We had the best experience with Fuorlovado 40! It was centrally located to everything, the host went above and beyond with recommendations and amenities, the bed was comfy, and the room was large and clean. The host even surprised us with local snacks as a giftI would highly highly recommend staying here! What a fabulous little gem.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here recently and can't say enough about the hospitality provided by Antonio. The room was perfect, of course, but Antonio provided so much more. He recommended several restaurants, including one that sells seafood during the day, then serves seafood dishes of their own at night. But the best insight provided was to direct us to the "Faro" in Anacapri - which is a swimming lagoon used mostly by locals. Truly an incredible island, and wonderful to have the insights of Antonio so that we could capitalize on it all while there. Thanks again, Antonio!!

Antonio was great he made our stay in Capri as it rained and we had to shift around all our plans. Even our boat home was canceled due to weather. He met us at the clock tower and carried our luggage. Gave us a break down of the town as we walked towards the hotel. Once we arrived he had Champaign, beers and water in the fridge for us. He came back and reviewed a local map with us where he pointed out several restaurants and sites. He followed up with a Whats Apps message breaking down everything he went over. They were great recommendations as they matched the research I did before hand. A truly amazing introduction. Any time we text him a question he was laser fast with his response. A + service.
