Gute sichere u. ruhige Lage, trotzdem alles gut erreichbar. Sehr saubere, helle und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Super freundliches, nicht aufdringliches Personal. Haben viele hilfreiche Tipps zum Aufenthalt gegeben. Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Die Villa aus dem Jahr 1926 hat 9 Zimmer, teilweise Suiten, die individuell gestaltet sind. Zimmer 7 ist sehr geräumig und neu gestaltet, und hat von der eigenen Terrasse einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer sowie hervorragende Betten. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße im Stadtteil Fresnaye, so dass wir sehr gut schlafen konnten. Unseren Mietwagen konnten wir gefahrlos auf der Straße vor der Villa parken. Für die Fahrten zu den Restaurants, oder zur Waterfront Kapstadts haben wir "Uber" genutzt, und damit sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstück im Wintergarten u.a. mit frischen und individuell gestalteten Eierspeisen , selbst gebackenen Backwaren, leckeres Müsli. Abends konnten wir uns am gut gefüllten Getränkekühlschrank gegen Bezahlung bedienen. Wir haben die liebevolle Betreuung durch unsere Gastgeber Melanie und Wayne mit dem ganzen Team sehr genossen. Danke, Wayne, für den tollen Essenstipp "Osteria Tarantino", und die Buchung des Tisches! Wir kommen wieder, falls wir mal wieder in Kapstadt sind.

cant say enough nice things about Walden Suites. Right from initial booking Melanie was so informative, accommodating. This continued when we arrived with her staff. They were all so welcoming and helpful. We stayed their twice and had two different rooms. Each room was immaculate, beautifully decorated and we really did feel like home. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. Definitely spoilt for choice - and all the home made baking was deliscious. Will definitely return and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the best place in Capetown

Very pleasant and well located hotel in Cape Town. Melanie is a very friendly hostess and makes sure that nothing is missing. The breakfast was also very tasty and there was a large selection! We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and can highly recommend it!

The only regret I have is that we only booked into the Walden Suites for 2 nights. Melanie was amazing, supporting us with flexibility, warmth and perfect hospitality. The beds were comfortable, the pool refreshing, the breakfast delicious and great tips for how to feel at home in Sea Point. It was a very relaxing stay for my partner and I. Only challenge was the construction work waking us up earlier than we would have liked on holiday. Some plant-based milk (oat / almond whatever) at breakfast would also be appreciated by those with similar dietry requirements.

The Walden Suites in Fresnaye is probably one of the best boutique guest houses in Cape Town. It is located within a lovely residential road in Fresnaye within a 20 minute walk of bustling Seapoint with its great shops and restaurants. On arrival we were met by the lovely and vivacious Melanie,one of the owners along with the very helpful and multi tasking Shadreck. All the rooms a spotlessly clean, spacious and very well presented including fresh flowers, there own branded shower gel, soap and room spray. The swimming pool area has views towards the sea and Robben Island. Their is a great breakfast with plenty of choice including bacon and eggs, fresh fruit and lovely bread and croissants. I could go on and on how good The Walden is but the best thing to do is come and experience it yourself, you won't be disappointed, we certainly will be back for another visit.

The accomodation was great, the host was really nice, rooms were clean, breakfast were delicious, pool was just the right temperature and it was close to the main street where you can find all of the restaurants (around 15 min walking, by taxi 5 min )

an absolute dream, the guest house is very child-friendly, my two children felt at home and the host Melanie did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I can recommend the guest house to anyone who is looking for something special. This will definitely always be our first choice when we are in Cape Town, we are already looking forward to our next stay.

This is a very nice place to stay in Capetown. It’s clean, the room is comfortable and there is a lovely garden with a nice pool. Good breakfast. We arrived very late(01.30 am) but we were very kindly welcomed. Neighbourhood is safe. I would strongly recommend this place.
