Relais des Trois Chateaux

Poor service and the place had no one around to assist during check in and check out I.e 9pm and 6.30am. Luckily some one passed the main door or we would have been standing outside for a while as the entry after hours is only through your room key card. The place didn’t feel alive and welcoming.

This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay.

We had a great stay here. The refurbishment is excellent, very well decorated. The standard rooms are comfortable if a little small - but really missing a kettle or coffee machine, the restaurant is excellent, great choice of local wines. Overall would recommend.

This was a fantastic end to our holidays (23rd July). We had a family room (2 interconnecting rooms) which was great. The beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. A great choice of cereals complemented with nuts & dried fruit. Lots of bread, pastries, croissants & lovely jams & honey. Nicest sausages & bacon I've ever had in France & the scrambled eggs were so fluffy & creamy (not the usually dried fare you get at a buffet). Also homemade fromage frais & fresh fruit salad. Great to also get proper espresso coffee & hot chocolate. The breakfast is expensive (€16 adult/€12 child) but so worth it. The only criticism I would have is that you'd hope for freshly squeezed orange juice at that price. Finally, the hotel staff were all very friendly & helpful, particularly the very efficient lady on reception & lovely lady who served breakfast. Will hopefully return next year & try dinner as the terrasse looks beautiful.

well located in the centre of cheverny, rooms are well decorated but not the most clean one you could find, there are cockroaches running around..... breakfast options are good the staff are very friendly

Accueil de la réceptionniste avec une amabilité forcée, chambre spacieuse, très belle taille, très propre, lit parfait, produits d'accueil de qualité, déco sobre et reposante, repas un peu cher pour la quantité et qualité des mets, vin très bien conseillés, personnel agréable au resto, au ptits dej, et la personne qui à gérer la propreté de notre chambre très agréable et aux petits soins, souriante et pro. Seul bémol parking à revoir et a rénover !

Chambre certes élégante et propre, trop petite, juste de quoi tourner autour du lit. Trop chère pour si peu d'espace. Sous combles, malheureusement, la clim est programmée pour s'arrêter sans y avoir accès. Nous y avons très mal dormi, trop chaud. Salle de douche correcte. Petit déjeuner avec produits locaux habituels.
