Probably the best B n B you will find on Vancouver Island !!! Lorrie is a fabulous host, the room (we got the ocean view room) is just perfect and very cozy. She makes sure you have everything you need. Her breaky's are also just fabulous too. Not if but when we come back to the area, I wouldn't even think about staying elsewhere.

I had the privilege of staying with Lorrie on either end of my trip with Grey Wolf Expeditions. Wow, what a great experience I had in her lovely home! I stayed in both rooms they are well appointed, with lovely bathrooms, comfy beds and robes!! Her house has a view of the river. After a delicious pancake breakfast, I wrapped up on her back patio and enjoyed her garden while I journaled. I loved meeting her guests who were also enjoying their stay at Money Pennies. I learned about Squamish and even went to an event held in Campbell river. She recommended wonderful restaurants. Her omelettes are incredible! I felt like I was at a long term friends’ house! She shared an incredible life’s journey and is equally interested in her guests! It was an exceptional experience! I will hopefully see her again soon!

This easy to find B&B in the edge of town above the harbour area, was not a disappointment. The host Lorrie was excellent and the breakfasts were equally good. The room was lovely, the bedding luxurious, and comfortable. The difference between a hotel and good a B&B certainly was clear. No contest, the B&B wins hands down! The host helped with our long overdue washing and her suggestions for places to eat, were spot on. Thoroughly recommended if you're visiting this lovely town.

We stayed with Lorrie at Money Pennies for two nights. Everything was just as advertised. However, the welcome was exceptional. Lorrie has a lovely home and garden. There is a deck in the garden, which we were welcome to use and it was a real haven to sit and relax there after a busy day sightseeing. Lorrie was full of tips of things we might want to see, including on our onward journey from Campbell River. This also included things we shouldn't miss and places to get a good meal or drink. Additionally, whilst most accommodations consider allergies, Lorrie also enquired about food dislikes etc. Breakfasts were delicious. The location is ideal and you can easily walk to Downtown Campbell River. The property is set on a hill, so there is a climb back up, but it is easily manageable. However, if you prefer to drive, there seemed to be plenty of parking downtown. I would have no problem in recommending Money Pennies and if we are ever back in Campbell River, Lorrie would be our first port of call. I feel we arrived as guests and left as friends. It was lovely to chat with Lorrie and she has a great sense of humour. Thank you Lorrie, for a wonderful stay. Pete and Julie

What can we say, Lorrie is so lovely and accommodating, nice room and all amenities, lovely breakfasts and we had some fun chats, she even helped me sauce something I wanted to bring home. Would definitely stay again Ann and Graham, Wales

Money Pennies is located on the little hill just above downtown so access to shops and restaurants is easy. The Ocean room was well sized, very comfortable and well equipped. The bedding (mattress and pillows) was very comfortable and the towels of very good quality. Wifi was efficient. We have also appreciated the patio on which we could read after dinner. Lorrie, our host, cooked us three different nice breakfasts on the three mornings we spent there while taking into account our dietary restrictions.
