Can’t fault this hotel. Great location (just a stroll from the beach), spacious rooms, all with a balcony (and a gap between each balcony so you don’t feel on top of your neighbours), comfy beds and nice bathroom with walk in shower, A/C (make sure you close your window so the Air Con starts working!). Super welcoming and friendly staff (special mention to Fiorely at the reception!), nice pool area and fitness centre. First time in Cambrils, and will definitely come back: it is quiet and tourists are for sure in the older side, but if you want to relax and not have kids everywhere, this is the place to be! Plenty of choice in terms of bars and restaurants, follow the Spaniards for the good places to eat! Also mentioned in many comments: there is a big Aldi next door (cross the mini bridge) so you can get drinks and snacks for cheap ;) Port Sol, we will be back!

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Straße in der Nähe des Zentrums in einer schönen Facada. Parken in der Straße einfach (kostengünstige Parkplätze) Zuhause in Französisch. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber bieten einen schönen Patio und sind klimatisiert. Das Frühstück ist auch spanisch standardisiert: Schalenfrüchte, Käse, Milch und verschiedene Arten von Brot.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt, man kann sich problemlos eine Liege unter sehr gut aufgeteilten Bäumen stellen, welche gut Schatten spenden, so dass man sich nicht völlig ”verbrennt”. Die vorhandene Pergola am Erwachsenenpool, mit Kiosk ist ebenso sehr gut gemacht. Spitze ist auch die Trennung zwischen Kinder und Erwachsenenbereich. Die Poole sind sauber und es gibt ausreichend Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Das Zimmer war gut, ein Hausmeister könnte aber mal ein paar Schrauben der Handtuchhalter nachziehen und den kaputten Waschbeckenverschluß wechseln. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, der Kaffeeautomat gewöhnungsbedürftig in der Bedienung. Das Abendessen ist abwechlungsreich, aber leider ”ohne Salz” gekocht. Salz haben wir nach 1,5 Wochen gefunden. Das andere Extrem ist die teilweise völlige Überwürzung von Gerichten. Teilweise Mangelhaft ist die Bewirtung mit Getränken, es kann durchaus vorkommen, das man eine halbe Stunde wartet, bis man etwas bestellen kann. Für Halbpensionsgäste ist dies nicht zu empfehlen, die ”all-inklusive” mit 100% Selbstbedienung können sich hier besser helfen. Dafür sind wir aber nicht so Dick. Mangelhaft ist auch das fehlen von Ausflugstipps und Veranstaltungen, außerhalb des Hotels. Das fehlen eines Notfühstücks bei der Abreise Früh um 4 Uhr, fanden wir im Vergleich zu anderen uns bekannten Hotels, als völlig Mangelhaft.
