Small review as I sit by the pool. I'm all for putting towels down and going back to apartment to get ready. But people are down first thing and not back till lunch. Currently a family have 12!! Seats taken and won't be down till lunchtime.everyday!

This park is amazing for kids but there are some issues I really feel they need to improve / work on that I have noticed over the year and from speaking to other families it seems to be the general issues. -Kids club. Takes 10 mins to get in. Due to start at 10am and they open the gate and 10am, takes 10 mins to check all the kids in so it’s not an hour long club. They should just open 10mins early to start on time. -Sky light in aloha bungalows. Not ideal if your kids like to sleep in darkness. -No barrier around the pool at the night time entertainment. Every parent I met had this same issue. It’s so dangerous. All the kids are dancing / running at the edge of a deep pool. No parent can relax and little to no staff there to control. A simple barrier to prevent kids falling in the pool. -More benches at park (this is minor but an idea as all parents were sitting on the grass area) -Cold pools. I understand in peak season it’s hotter so water is warmer but may time should be heated. It’s a family / kids park and kids are so cold. - you are not allowed any toys / inflatables in the pools apart from the main pool in front of the restaurant. They sell them in the shop and should inform customers when purchasing. Basically kids can’t have fun in any of the other pools. - restaurant food is terrible. Every family I spoke to said they just eat in it for convenience. Not one said the food was good. Other than these few issues (some which are minor), this park is amazing for kids. The shop onsite is reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly. It’s very clean. Plenty of sunbeds. A supermarket right across the road. There are two receptions so be sure to know which one you should get dropped off / picked up from as they are opposite ends of the park.

We came as a large group on a sports trip. On arrival, we were shown to the luggage room by a lovely, friendly young man who used to live in London; he's a real credit to your team. We instantly found space by the pool and chilled before gaining access to our apartment in the Mediterranean village. The apartment was spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed. Beds were made up daily, along with fresh towels. The onsite shop is wonderful and full of great-quality, reasonably priced items; the bakery was divine, too. We had breakfast and dinner provided, which we all enjoyed. The reception staff were friendly and assisted with taxis and local information. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return next May; we highly recommend this resort.

The multiple options for swimming pools were amazing. The slides weren't really suitable for anyone larger or taller but the kids seemed to enjoy themselves a lot. The site had a wonderful on-site bakery and supermarket with reasonable prices. There is one decent playground near the sand pool and you can get some wonderful mocktails and ice creams. The beach is a 10 minutes walk away and was actually warmer than the pools. Things that could be better pools were way too cold could have used some solar powered heating to make it suitable for guests visiting in early May. Also kids activities were suitable for under 3 or 4-5 not much suitable for older kids talking to the other parents. Also on checkout guidance was all food to be dumped in the bins. Plenty could have been donated or used in worm bins to create fertilizer. The spa was the only warm pool option and cost €18 for two adults and a child for a two hour swim. You also had to pay an additional €3 each if you didn't have a swim cap. This gets very expensive very quickly. The laundry was €5 for a wash or €6 for drying and folding which is a decent price for a bag of washing. But you need to use their laundry service you can't wash your own stuff.

Not worth a visit. The food is horrible, pizzas were inedible, breakfast at the restaurant was awful. The bakery is good & handy, but there's a super market a short walk which is much cheaper. Also shop with pool toys, hats and souvenirs. Huts are basic, but have what you need. It is nice to have your room cleaning while away & did miss this with this option, but if you don't mind cleaning while on holidays then grand. The surrounding areas are run down & shabby, not many options to eat out. Son got food poisoning. Pools were freezing, most days we paid to use the indoor swimming pools. Everything is extra, even little trampolines and golf. I definitely would not visit again and it's put me off euro camps, although I heard some in Italy have outdoor heated pools. There is a fb group & people leave behind pool toys etc which is nice.

Arrived at Cambrils family resort as part of the Barcelona Halloween football tournament. Will review two parts separately. CAMBRILS Villa they look great on the outside, bright and vibrant huts. Inside very basic and could do with a good clean. They provide hairdryer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster and hob (No oven, be aware of this before buying oven food from shop lol), fridge freezer. Towels are replaced every 3 days. Unbeknown to us due to it being off season most swimming pools had been emptied and the others contaminated by the storm. Meaning no swimming pools had been opened the whole time. Which was strange as we had been to a hotel the night before who cleaned and opened the pool within a day of the storm. Again due to it being off season they provided no family entertainment at anytime. The mini golf only opened at night time and cost €4pp. The trampolines were closed and randomly opened at a cost of €3pp. The indoor pool has to be booked in advance and was booked out for big groups already meaning we couldn’t book. We had been told it would have cost us €9pp to use. Tennis again closed due to the net being broken . Football and basketball courts good, however due to the lack of other facilities was a total free for all rabble of around 40/50 kids all competing, fighting and arguing. The resort appeared to be facilitating lots of different sports groups of all ages. Meal times - Think school canteens and you won’t be far away. You get a bottle of water at the table with paper cups and can use the coffee machine. Ur given time slots of 45mins for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our time slots were 9:00, 13:00, 21:00. No other food facilities were open apart from waffle bar at night time. Meaning if you wanted a snack you needed to buy from the shop and make in Villa or apartments or go outside resort, a good 20 mins walk. The food was roughly the same for lunch and dinners and nothing came out hot. Bar - only one bar open with one staff serving at all times. Not a great selection of drinks, the guys appeared happy with the beer selection. However, over all bar was cheap and some bought from shop and drank the carry out at tables. Football Monday - check in 16:00 , Dinner 20:00 Tuesday- breakfast 9:00. Everyone was then walked a good 20 mins walk to the astros 10:30-12:00 for 11aside friendly game of football. Then walked back 20 mins for lunch at 13:00. Group stages 18:00- 20:00. After complaints to the organisers they got us a bus to and from astro as agreed as part of the package. Some of our party struggled walking this distance. The festival had so much potential unfortunately there was only two teams a Scottish team and an Irish team with 21 kids each who were u12 making 6 teams in total. The other two teams were u10 Spanish teams. Obviously the size difference and physicality was visible for all to see and clearly unfair. The Spanish kids didn’t come back the next day for the finals and award ceremony.
