Sol Lunamar Palmanova Apartamentos

I had requested a room in a certain area before we arrived which we were given, being a returning guest I received champagne on ice which we really appreciated. The staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and grounds are very well kept, clean and modern. The apartments are in a brilliant position close to the beach, restaurants and shops, especially with having a back gate that leads to everything. I would definitely recommend these apartments and will hopefully be able to go back again myself.

Absolutely incredible hotel. The staff can’t do enough for you. The beds and pillows were so comfy. Location is perfect. The beach is a one minute walk away. Will definitely be back. On check out we used the shower room and rye reception ordered us a taxi.

Another fab 5 night stay at the Lunamar. Speedy check in at reception & our rooms were available straightaway. Our room was on the 5th floor but only 2 levels up from reception & easily accessed by lift ( or stairs) Room was basic but very clean with everything we needed. Cleaning/towel change every other day. Great location with quick & easy access to the bars/beach & shops via the ‘big gate at the back’ Friendly & helpful staff in hotel & snackbar area. We only returned on Saturday & have already rebooked for next May!!

We spent a week at Sol Lunamar. The apartments are very basic but clean. Room cleaned every other day. Staff all very friendly. The pool area is lovely and clean also. Lots of sunbeds. Towels on beds early on in the day but we never had any trouble getting a bed. There’s a pool side bar with food and coffee available. We only got coffees but often saw people getting food. While the apartments are advertised as self catering we didn’t use this facility. The kitchen area is very small and there’s not much space for cooking anything. 2 hobs, microwave, fridge & sink. There’s nothing to clean the dishes with so you would have to buy a scrubber or cloth. The location is the best part of the hotel. Out the back gate and you’re a short walk away from all the restaurants and bars. Lots of shops on your doorstep too. This hotel was just too loud for us. Every time a chair is moved or a tap or shower turned on you can hear it. We had noisy neighbours who were coming home late at night and in and out the balcony door, which was very loud. Equally could hear the TV on etc. We could hear noise from both the apartments beside and above us. The road is also quite noisy. While I am a light sleeper anyways my partner also slept very bad all week. It is for this reason that I would not book again. The beds were not comfortable either. The AC is excellent though. It’s a very basic hotel and we would prefer something a little nicer to relax in also. This hotel is perfect for what you pay for though and the staff are excellent. This is just personal preference.
