Sol Lunamar Palmanova Apartamentos

We spent a week at Sol Lunamar. The apartments are very basic but clean. Room cleaned every other day. Staff all very friendly. The pool area is lovely and clean also. Lots of sunbeds. Towels on beds early on in the day but we never had any trouble getting a bed. There’s a pool side bar with food and coffee available. We only got coffees but often saw people getting food. While the apartments are advertised as self catering we didn’t use this facility. The kitchen area is very small and there’s not much space for cooking anything. 2 hobs, microwave, fridge & sink. There’s nothing to clean the dishes with so you would have to buy a scrubber or cloth. The location is the best part of the hotel. Out the back gate and you’re a short walk away from all the restaurants and bars. Lots of shops on your doorstep too. This hotel was just too loud for us. Every time a chair is moved or a tap or shower turned on you can hear it. We had noisy neighbours who were coming home late at night and in and out the balcony door, which was very loud. Equally could hear the TV on etc. We could hear noise from both the apartments beside and above us. The road is also quite noisy. While I am a light sleeper anyways my partner also slept very bad all week. It is for this reason that I would not book again. The beds were not comfortable either. The AC is excellent though. It’s a very basic hotel and we would prefer something a little nicer to relax in also. This hotel is perfect for what you pay for though and the staff are excellent. This is just personal preference.

I loved this hotel! I feel it should be a 4 star rather than 3. The hotel was spotless, great facilities, gym, fabulous pool & terrace. Special mention to the staff, each & everyone of the staff are incredible! I was so at ease from the moment I got there. Everything was so well organised & everything was accommodated for. My room was regularly cleaned & replenished without request. The room was large with comfortable beds, remote controlled air conditioning, ensuite bathroom/shower,with fitted hairdryer, kitchenette, dining table, flat screen smart tv, large furnished balcony with beautiful view of the ocean & hotel pool. The location was perfect, rear access, 2min walk to the most beautiful beach. Plenty of lovely bars, restaurants & local shops. There are 3 beautiful golden sand beaches, restaurants all within walking distance. There are plenty of activities and excursions , boat trips, snorkelling, jet skies, paddle boarding everything you could think of. If you enjoy nightlife Magaluf is just 10 minutes away and for activities & sightseeing there is a bus 5 minutes from the hotel which will take to you to The water parks, marine land, Santa ponsa & Palma city. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel & credit to all l the hotel staff that make it successful. Thank you Sol Lunamar, I will be back again Solo Traveller 8th May 2025 Room 410

An excellent first stay and we'll defo be returning. Great place to stay and well situated with great staff. From checking in to checking out we enjoyed a great week, all staff are very helpful and the place is very clean and well kept, well recommended.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon. What a beautiful hotel. Staff are great ,it’s very clean and it is perfectly situated. We did not want to come home. We will certainly be returning next year we loved it that much Don’t go to el Mecca at the bottom of the hill. It is awful but all the other restaurants are great. Iroko is out of this world
