Had a layover at this hotel after a long drive, certainly not for the fussy travellers! But it’s good enough for a stop and go

The hotel was really nice a clean, with a good ease of access just off the motorway. The room was very spacious and quiet, even tho it was next to the car park. The pillow’s could do with being thicker as they seemed very thin. And the room would benefit from having aircon, as it was only April on a mild day but it was very warm inside the room, especially at night. The window did open, but only about 2 inches (which is std for most hotels) But apart from the hot rooms I would recommend the hotel very much. All staff were clean and polite. I would stay there again, but on a winters day.

Five of us stayed. One adult, two children and two dogs. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean and airy. The main downfall was the hairdryer not working. But as a very convenient base I couldn't fault it.

It was fit for purpose. Nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Used for away trip for cricket match. Was very simple room but was clean, hot water and was value for what we needed. Room is no different to a premier inn but half the price.

Perfect at this price point. Free parking, En Suite, 24 Hour reception and the service station next door for refreshments 😀👍🏻

Days Inn is located on the already services territory in Magor which is about 30 min driving from Cardiff center. It’s a good place to have a sleep on the train at for travelers. The price was cheap like 41£ a night. For sure with this money I don’t have high expectations about the quality so the bed and pillows are really cheap but again for the traveler who needs a rest on the way the option is perfect. Yet there is a hair dryer , tea and coffee set , additional blanket , heater , opening window, bath tub!!! You can get all the necessary things to recover on the way and contribute your trip. Parking is free which is a nice odd as well. Costa coffee is a meter walk. As well hotel offers 7 £ breakfast from around shops worth 10£ for their visitors.

Great place, clean and friendly. Great location easily accessible

Always very clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. Rooms all clean with towels, extra pillows, toiletries and plenty of storage & room spacious. One issue though that is not very nice when on ground level is the access route through/from a wooded area for non guests of hotel. On this occasion we encountered a few kids (a long way off of being men) that kicked about a ball with no care for the impact on our window. Early hours found also a Male and female (not guests) slurring drunken words of hate to each other and totally ok with treating the route as a toilet and like they owned it. I did then let my voice be heard and to move away or be removed...sad to say that! The hotel must fence the area and allow paying guest privacy and security. These few people have let down a community and shown themselves as vile people to foreigners, children and visitors alike.

A fine place to stay, good for the price, clean and quiet, great for a good night's sleep. The only downside is that there's no cooling and no fans were available either, for some reason the room was very very hot even with the window open all day and night. (Hotter than outside)
