"Seit 6 Jahren bringe ich als Reiseleiter Gruppen ins Masindi Hotel - in diesem Zeitraum über 75 Gäste. Trotz versprechen des Hotel Eigentümers die Zimmer zu renovieren verfallen diese immer mehr. Die Zimmer 1 bis 7 gehen noch, der Rest ist jedoch unzumutbar. Bei unserem Aufenthalt jetzt im Januar hat einer meiner Kunden den Zimmerschlüssel verloren. Trotz dass wir wie oben erwähnt gute Kunden des Hotels sind, sollter der Gast für den Schlüssel 50 USD bezahlen. Ich konnte den Betrag auf USD 35 runterhandeln. Von customer care hat der Eigentümer wohl nie etwas gehört. Die vergammelten Zimmer sowie die Episode mit dem Schlüssel waren nun ausschlaggebend dass wir unsere weiteten Gruppenbuchungen für Februar und März storniert haben und nun in das Kabalega Resort gehen. Das Masindi Hotel kann ich absolut NICHT weiterempfehlen!"

"I slept in this hotel twice during my stay in Masindi. The room was very clean, quite big with a balcony, equiped with tv and a fan. The comfortable beds have mosquito net. The staff was so kind and helpful. You can pay by card for your stay. There is a Petal Restaurant next to the hotel when you can eat included breakfast even early in the morning or dinner and lunch. The food was good. Possible one of the best acomodation in Masindi."

"Good location in Masindi although some rooms were noisy. A number of people in our party had water issues and inadequate mosquito nets. We had a triple room with excellent hot water and perfect nets - these rooms also have a small terrace with a table. Worth paying a few $ more for the space and facilities. Food service was slow and food generally disappointing. All the staff were lovely."

"The mattress was terrible.... probably overused with a big dent in the middle. The sockets were a trick to maneuver. The restaurant closes very early and the tv channels to watch were non-existent for the night we spent there. But the ambience was quiet all in all"
