I can't understand where the great reviews come from. This hotel photos make it look like a rural location and this was the reason we booked it along with the description ofthe restaurant food (the Tudanca restaurant specializes in traditional Castilian food) perhaps this was a la carte only. Be warned, these photos are the rear of the hotel and do not show the location. It's actually next to the motorway on one side and main road on the other. The main restaurant for the hotel is located in the transport cafe/shop next door, its a separate restaurant. We had booked half bord. Evening meal was not the best but was better value than the a la carte. The service was terrible. Staff have the ability to totally ignored everyone with the exception of Spanish speaking people. We waited over half an hour for coffee, the table next to us had the same wait for their bill. The restaurant only had a handful of occupied tables. We regretted not eating at lunchtime in the cafe, food looked better and half the price. We did have a great bowl of soup. Unfortunately the cafe is closed in the evening, only snack food and bar was available. Breakfast is taken in the hotel and was OK with all the standard choices. Hallway carpet was worn and threadbare in places. Walls are scuffed in hallways and our room. Our Vinyard view room and the bathroom were large but dingy, the place may have been clean but it didn't feel like it. The room did have a small balcony, overlook the vineyard but also main road and motorway. The whole place needs redecoration and refitting. Beds were comfortable thought. There is plenty of parking as you would expect from a motorway rest area with a hotel. We would Not stay here again.

El hotel es moderno, sin pretensiones. Lo bueno: parking amplio en el mismo edificio a un valor aceptable; desayuno de buena calidad aunque escasa variedad. Lo malo: la habitación standard es estrecha con una cama doble incómoda para dos personas. No esta tan bien ubicado. Al momento de ir al centro histórico, son unas 800metros en las que no hay nada intermedio. Por ejemplo restaurantes. Hay que caminar hasta el centro para cenar con el consiguiente trastorno por el clima invernal

My name is Jordi A. and I have enjoyed this terrific hotel for 4 days. If you have decided to visit Burgos I heartly recommend you this hotel. The staff is very friendly, polite and professional and I don´t forget the waiters and waitresses that say a sweet good morning when you enter to the breakfast room. They behaved very well with me and one them offered me very friendly a cup of chocolate with ” churros ”. The room was perfect, neither big nor small. The bed was big and comfortable and there wasn´t a noise that could disturb my sweet dreams. I don´t know if I will come back to Burgos but if I go I will pretty sure choose NH Collection Palacio de Burgos again. I wanted to write this review in Catalan, my mother tongue language, but I have seen that it is impossible with Trip Advisor so I have decide to write it in English.

Dieses Hotel hat tolles und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Das Zimmer ist schön, aber das Badezimmer ist extrem klein und schwer zu benutzen. Das ist das größte Problem mit dem Hotel. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wenn Sie ein sauberes Hotel suchen. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten. Etwa 1 km von der Kirche entfernt.

El hotel está bien situado, cerca de la catedral, como a 5 minutos. Dispone de parking (de pago). En recepción todo perfecto, gran atención. Las habitaciones bien, pero necesitarían una pequeña actualización, las cortinas estaban un poco regular, y tiene moqueta en todo el suelo que no es muy higiénica. El baño amplio y bien servido, con bañera en vez de ducha. Lo mejor, sin duda, es la piscina climatizada, estando dentro vimos fuera que estaba nevando y no pasamos nada de frío, ¡¡es muy recomendable!! Tiene también un pequeño gimnasio y saunas. Te cobran un euro por la toalla para la piscina, pero merece la pena. El precio es medio y por los servicios, calidad, atención y situación, sin duda lo recomiendo.

This hotel located 5 minutes from the cathedral, is a perfect stop for a night. Rooms are nice, not huge but big enough, nice bathroom, comfy mattress, breakfast with a lot choices for a minimum price. You really get everything you need for a cheap price. Highly recommended

Das Hotel liegt 10 Minuten nördlich der Stadt Burgos und bietet einen großen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Wir haben dieses Hotel als unsere letzte Nachtstop-Stadt genutzt, bevor wir den frühen Nachmittagsfähren von Santander fangen. Einfacher Zugang zum Hauptstraßennetz und nur 2 Stunden Fahren zum Fährhafen. Leider war der Tag unseres Besuchs ein öffentlicher Urlaub in Spanien, so das Hotel war mit Gästen im Hausrestaurant und die Rezeption Jungs waren offensichtlich nicht glücklich, wegen des Mangels an Empfang und Ausdrucken auf ihren Gesichtern zu arbeiten. Nicht weniger das Zimmer überstieg unsere Erwartungen angesichts der sehr guten Zimmerrate. Gute Größe und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit sehr komfortablen Betten und alles, was Sie im Badezimmer brauchen. Gut für eine Nachtstopper, bevor Sie das Fähre fangen.
