When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

Wir haben einige Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht und wir waren besonders beeindruckt von der Freundlichkeit des Personals, besonders von der Frau Simona Anton, Managerin on Duty. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, immer kompetent und mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir bei guten Bekannten waren, die uns warmherzig und mit Achtung behandelt haben. Wirklich schön! Wir gratulieren die Managerin und ihre Kollegen für diese Einstellung und bedanken wir uns ganz herzlich. Und noch zwei Sachen, die uns Freude gebracht haben: - die perfekte Klimaanlage im Zimmer - das Frühstück sehr divers vorbereitet (und auch lecker vegan dazu). Danke nochmals.

Eigentlich hat das mercure Bucharest Unirii Potenzial. Gute Lage, renoviertes Zimmer aber - sehr viele Kritikpunkte zu bieten: Es faengt damit an, dass beim Buchungsvorgang auf der Homepage kein Hinweis zu finden ist, dass das Restauzrant nur zum Frühstück geöffnet ist. Ich habe um 20:00 Uhrt eingecheck. Erst dann -auf Nachfrage- mitgeteilt bekommen: Restaurant geschlossen nur Frühstück. So etwas darf nicht sein! Ich haette definitiv ein anderes Hotel gebucht oder vorher in der Altstadt ein Restaurant aufgesucht ! Als ALL Platinum Member wurde mir automatisch ein Upgrade zugewiesen. Allerdings war der Raum nicht kontrolliert worden. TV-Fernbedienung defekt. Telefon ebenfalls, so dass ich wieder ins EG zur Rezeption musste um das Problem zu klaeren. Weiterhin: Unter der Duschtasse laeuft an mehreren Stellen Wasser ins Badezimmer, so dass der Fußboden nass ist. Sehr schlecht: Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es an Brot nur billigste und steinharte Aufbackbroetchen und Toastscheiben - ein solch schlechte Brotqualit#t habe ich noch nicht einmal in einem billigen Ibis Budget Hotel vorgefunden. Die drei *** Sterne hat das Mercure Bucharest Unirii von mir bekommen, da das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Wi eingangsbeschrieben: Das Hotel hat Potential - aber es wird nichts daraus gemacht!

Sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegenes Hotel, sehr gute Erreichbarkeit mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Tiefgarage ganz in der Nähe vorhanden, 8,00 € am Tag. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders möchte ich ROBERT erwähnen, sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Extrawünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt. Die Bar ist in den Abendstunden sehr zu empfehlen. Wir sind nicht das erste Mal hier und werden ganz sicher wieder kommen.

Wir haben Familienmitglieder, die ukrainische Flüchtlinge sind, die in Bukarest in Sicherheit geflohen sind. Der Generalmanager der Moxy Roxana-Maria Vişan war äußerst empathisch und verstanden für unsere Situation. Lorena Dinescu Crew-Leiter war ebenso erstaunlich, alle unsere Fragen zu beantworten und uns eine unglaubliche Unterstützung zu bieten. Sie lieferten unsere Familie für 19 Tage den besonders berührenden personalisierten Service und Gastfreundschaft. Glücklicherweise konnten wir ihnen einen ständigen Wohnsitz mit Freunden in Breda, Niederlande finden. Nach Ansicht unserer Familienmitglieder verfügt das Gebäude über eine wunderschöne Vibe, große Zimmer, ideale Lage für die alte Stadt und vor allem ein freundliches Personal der Mitarbeiter. Wenn Sie Bucharest besuchen, müssen Sie die Moxy auschecken!

Dieses Hotel ist ein wenig schwierig. Buchen Sie nicht die regulären Zimmer, weil sie müde sind und die Betten scheinen sogig und verwendet. Sie müssen ein wenig Arbeit im Inneren in den Teppichen außerhalb der Zimmer machen. Nur in den Suiten bleiben und über dem Cuz sie sind großartig. Aber das Oberzimmer und das reguläre Zimmer sind nicht für mich und ein wenig depressiv. Aber ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit in Bukarest bleiben, aber nur in den Süßen und den Studios nicht in den üblichen müdeten Hotelzimmern. Einer der wichtigsten Vorteile dieses Hotels/aparten Hotels ist, dass es einen fantastischen Heißräder/Jacuzzi hat und es ist direkt neben der Tür im Fitnessraum alles, was Sie tun müssen, ist einloggen. Ich liebe die Heißröhre und ich liebe den Pool besonders Mitte Dezember, als alles eingefroren war. Ich würde hier bleiben, wann immer ich Bucharest besucht habe. Das Essen im Restaurant ist gut relativ gut Wert für das Geld und der Service ist gut. Auch die Frauen am Front Desk sind sehr hilfreich und zu Hause.

The hotel is situated a few metres from the Gara de Nord railways station and underground station, so it is very easy to reach. The check-in procedure was fast, room clean with a large bed, toilet, shower, TV set, hairdryer etc. The door is card-operated, mine unfortunately didn´t work properly, so I had to go to the reception desk twice but the girl was really helpful. Breakfast is served in the adjacent building from 7 .00 to 10.30, quite a good range of things to choose from. Wi-fi connection strong and stable. Next time in Bucharest I will definitely try to get a room here again.

We mistake for old town & uptown , location was 35mins ++ walking distance to city & old-town & all day-tour pick up point . Quiet place for sleeping. We ordered airport pick up , the Driver nice & good , his drop us and open the lobby door for us , take the room keys in letter box for us and explain where ours lot . feel good ( around 22:00pm local times)… .. after in ours apartment, look new and tidy inside , but we can’t find any brief-notes for WiFi passwords, even found the modem , password was chance !! so thinking paid for roaming , ( Vodafone get in data ) , work only few second than died line all night till morning even walk around at city . ( choose Orange will more better). Service or Staff ? We stay four nights, none seen one . The window & balcony full of dust . By the end, if you’re self drive tourist is ok to stay here .

This hotel is aesthetically beautiful, the rooms are decorated to a high standard with nothing to fault. Staff were helpful. Our only let down would be location is out of city centre a good 45 minute walk, or rely on Uber and the continental breakfast was a little underwhelming and lacked choice and variety. Coffee not served at breakfast is an extra charge which I’ve never found elsewhere during travels especially when there is no drink making facilities in the room. Beautiful hotel, location more suited for business not a city break and things like breakfast and drink making aren’t great. On a positive note the neighbours dog who visits the front door is lovely and friendly.

Während meiner jüngsten Reisen kam ich über den besten Ort zu bleiben. Es ist luxuriös, aber überraschend erschwinglich. Ich empfehle dieses versteckte Geschirr für jemanden, der High-end-Unterkünfte genießen möchte, ohne die Bank zu brechen. Das Personal ist unglaublich willkommen und aufmerksam, um sicherzustellen, dass jeder Aspekt Ihres Aufenthalts genießbar ist. Ich ermutige Sie, es zu versuchen und erleben Sie den hervorragenden Service für sich selbst. Es ist wirklich ein fantastisches Finden
