Folkestone Inn

My husband and I had a wonderful stay while we checked out local waterfalls. Certainly the best breakfast combined with a relaxing atmosphere and unique, beautiful rooms! It was the perfect beginning and end to each day of our visit to the area.

The home was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and well stocked. The staff was gracious and the food good. It was situated in a lovely setting and convenient to hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Bryson City is a cute town with lots of food options.

Everything about our stay was awesome! The room was perfect, the breakfast was outstanding, the surroundings were beautiful! Close enough to Bryson city to get to places quickly but far enough away to enjoy being surrounded by nature. Would definitely visit again.

The Folkestone Inn is on a level all to itself! Scott and Toni do an amazing job of welcoming you as guests and then waving as friends when you drive away. I schedule vacations to this area based on their availability, not mine! Do not hesitate!

What a lovely place to recharge, in a farm setting. That even meant farm fresh eggs every day. Every breakfast was a gourmet surprise. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Our innkeeper, Toni, helped us find memorable things to do. Be sure to order Scott’s homemade pizza.

This is the best place to stay in the entire region! The property (be aware it is a farmhouse with chickens and the neighboring property has cows) is beautifully situated and is very peaceful. The breakfast each morning may be the best I have ever had at any B&B and served in an intimate dining room that is light and airy. Our linens rivaled the best 5 star hotels, from the bedding to the towels. Our room (The Farmhouse) was very spacious and had a nice small siting area where we comfortably could sit each morning and enjoy coffee with a view to the outside grounds. An inviting place to return each day after adventuring in the area. Only 1/4 mile form a hidden National Park gem is Deep Creek, with various trails and waterfalls to enjoy. We had reasonable cell reception on Verizon but the WiFi was bit sketchy at times. No worries, we did not go here to spend our time connected and worrying about the world bu to get some peaceful recharging of our batteries. Do yourself a favor and book a room, Toni and Scott were fantastic hosts. We will be going back in the future.

A lovely home away from home! We loved everything about it! The hardwood floors, the claw foot tub, the freshly made chocolate chip cookies everyday and the beautiful yard with happy chickens. Plus, I can’t forget to mention the AMAZING breakfasts served! I would’ve payed a significant amount of money for the same quality at a restaurant. If you’re looking for a friendly, comfortable place to stay, this is the place for you!

Beautiful and peaceful Inn and the premises. Close to all the points of interest. Nice mountain view from the balcony. Great breakfast! Rooms are tastefully decorated. Toni and Scott are wonderful hosts, accommodating of your needs and preferences.

This is a wonderful place to relax or use as a base to hike and tube or ride the railroad. It is comfortable with friendly hosts, and they are the best breakfasts we have ever had anywhere. This was not our first time, and it will definitely not be our last. It is also a very good value.
