Nice and compact hotel for solo travellers with breakfast inclusive to kick start your day

The staff are helpful and nice. It would be better for the room to have some refurbishment. It needs about 10 minutes walk to reach a small supermarket.

I LOVE the service there which is very satisfying. The receptionist was very nice for answering all of our questions and willing to offer help. The breakfast was good and various.

A place in heart of Bristol city center. A place just to crash for night sleep . Don't expect to have a relaxing day in the hotel . Hotel itself has maze of stairs up and down . Building is historical. Rooms layout is not good for people who don't like doing stairs and can get confused easily where to go . Overall it's okay for few nights sleep . 🙂🙂🙂

Positive: 1. The receptionists were patient and helpful. 2. The breakfast team were friendly and accommodating, the choices and quality of breakfast were quite good. Neutral: 1. Parking space was quite limited on the premise. If you can't secure a space in their car park, you have to be very lucky to find one on the street. Even then, it is only available from 9pm to 9am, which means you have to check out and move your car before 9am. Negative: 1. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, where food residue could be spotted on table and stains in the toilet. 2. Noise which sounded like the ceiling was going to crack was non-stop all night. 3. We booked for a room with double bed on trip.com, however, only a twin room with 2 single beds were offered. The guesthouse could not offer alternatives nor compensation, and the manager did not show up nor follow up.
