Sie haben alles, was Sie für ein paar Nächte Aufenthalt benötigen könnten. Es hat eine Kessel, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Haartrockner, Eisen, Eisenböden, Schneidwaren und Kleiderschrank. Das Queensize-Bett war sehr komfortabel und so waren die Pilze. Ausgezeichneter Duschedruck mit einem großen Duschekopf. Ein komfortables Lounge, ein schönes Fernsehen auf der Wand und ein Klimaanlage, die schwerer zu benutzen war als einfach auf/aus drücken, aber wir haben es geschafft. Wir hatten ein Zimmer vor dem Motel, auf der Straße, aber wir hatten kein Problem, schlafen ...noise war kein Problem. Es ist ein älteres Motel und hat Schlüsselverriegelungen anstelle von Schlüsselkarten, aber sowohl die Zimmer als auch das Gebäude sind sicher und wir fühlten uns sehr sicher dort zu bleiben. Das kostenlose, unsicherte WLAN ist akzeptabel, aber nicht immer zuverlässig. Noch besser als einige Orte, die wir geblieben haben. Sie haben einen großen Ordner im Zimmer, der einige Informationen über lokale Orte enthält, um zu essen, abzunehmen oder zu bekommen ...Sehr hilfreich. Alles mit dem Personal, das wir getroffen haben, einschließlich eines Hausmeisters, der um Hilfe mit der A/C gebeten hat, waren sehr freundlich und untergebracht. Ich konnte nicht um etwas Besseres zu überraschend bescheidenen täglichen Raten bitten. Wir würden sicher wieder bleiben.

Loc Super convenient location on the corner of Jephson St and Sherwood Rd, with the popular Toowong Village Shopping Centre, a 10 minute walk away. The Toowong railway station can be accessed directly from the shopping centre. There are plenty of buses trundling up and down Sherwood Rd heading in various directions to the city or to the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre further south. The nearest ferry terminal is Regatta, less than a km away, but at the time of writing it is still under repair following last year's floods. Room We found the room to be clean, comfortable and spacious, with a large king bed, two bedside tables, each with a drawer and a lamp, a TV on the wall, and a handy desk for working at. On the balcony, was a small table and two chairs. There were plenty of power points to charge appliances and the downlights were strong enough for easy reading. The stylish touch lamp on the desk and standing lamp in the corner were useful for extra illumination. There was a hanging rail with about eight hangers. There were two sets of two drawers, one underneath the hanging rail and the safe, with one larger set underneath the TV. They were reasonably sized, but being virtually on the floor, they were super inconvenient to access. I can’t understand why the designers didn’t think of this, because it’s extra difficult to get down so low, especially if you’re a bit older, or with knee problems. Also in the room was a safe but that too required bending down. On top of the safe and below the hanging rail was a shelf to store one suitcase. The tea and coffee making facilities were also very difficult to access as they were rammed into a little shelf snuck between the drawers and the desk-top. The room though was quiet, being at the back of the property and therefore not facing directly onto either Jephson Street or Sherwood Rd, both busy roads. One could hear some noise from within the hotel as people walked up and down the corridor, but it was a minor inconvenience and most fellow guests seemed friendly and well behaved. There wasn’t much of a view, and the room just looked out onto the sprawling next door apartment complex, and to the right between the trees we could see Jephson Street, and the traffic going up and down, but the sound didn’t carry into the bedroom if the balcony door was kept closed. Bathroom The bathroom was not an en-suite, being situated in the passageway, between the front door and the bed. That was just as well, as it had a sliding door, which is never great for privacy, although it could be locked. But the bathroom was modern and stylish, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. A transparent glass wall separated the bathroom from the bedroom, which shocked me when I first saw it. I immediately phoned the reception to tell them that we needed another room due to the lack of bathroom privacy. Wir waren für drei Nächte im 5. OG in Tower 3 zu einer Art Innenhof. Auf den ersten Blick sieht alles sauber aus, bis man es anfasst, oder das Licht einschaltet: Es ist lediglich oberflächlich sauber. Alle Oberflächen sind etwas staubig oder dreckig: Am Schlimmsten waren die Lüftungsauslässe, aber auch der Ventilator über dem Bett oder der Tisch daneben sowie Schrankfächer etc. Im Schrank fanden wir neben Haaren Shorts vom Vorgänger. Auch auf dem Bullauge der Waschmaschine konnte ich in der Staubschicht schreiben und auch das Trocknersieb war ebenfalls war sehr staubig. Auf der Bettwäsche waren mehrere Flecken, evtl. Stockflecken. Wir hatten nur ein Trinkglas im Zimmer und haben sofort Bescheid gegeben, aber es kam innerhalb von drei Tagen kein Ersatz, obwohl sie es sofort liefern lassen wollten. Generell ist das Zimmer sehr duster und selbst bei strahlendem Sonnenschein draußen hat man drinnen das Gefühl von Dämmerung. Die Klimaanlage/Lüftung konnten wir kaum nutzen, da ein sehr starker Essensgeruch heraus kam, der einem die Luft nahm. Zum Glück ließ sich das Fenster kippen. Auch ansonsten war sie uns viel zu stark eingestellt und pustete direkt auf das Bett. Man hat zwar eine gut eingerichtete Küche, aber im Zimmer nur einen Stuhl für 2 Personen und keine Möglichkeit zu essen, außer im Bett. Dem Bett gegenüber hängt ein riesiger Fernseher. Das Bad mit Waschmaschine hat leider eine Fehlkonstruktion: Die Verkleidung (Schrank) lässt sich nur bei geschlossener Badtüre öffnen, wodurch die Waschmaschinentür nicht offen bleiben kann zum lüften und stinkt. Außerdem gibt es nur ein einziges winziges Handtuch sowie je ein Badetuch pro Person, ein größeres oder zweites Handtuch wäre schön gewesen, ebenfalls Handtuchhaken. Es gibt verteilt auf die einzelnen Tower ein kleines Gym, einen Pool, eine Sauna und mehrere BBQ Möglichkeiten, die gut aussehen. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist nur wenige Minuten von diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants entfernt, über die Brücke in 15-20 Minuten in der City. Wären die Zimmer sauber und heller wäre es eine gute Unterkunft, so waren wir für die hohen Preise sehr enttäuscht und tlw. angeekelt.

It is more an expensive appartement hotel, with a bling bling appearance than a real luxury hotel: reception is a cold corridor, not enough supply of coffee capsules, no special welcome gesture like in other 5 stars hotels, breakfast is on a noisy (heavy music) cold atmosphere roof top, with a pathetic pre set micro fruit salad and miniature croissant.... service is typically on a forced smile mode. overrated.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich, Sie können die Reinigungspersonal-Präsenz sagen. Gut gemacht Best Western!

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

The Soho Hotel in Brisbane is definitely great value for what you pay. The rooms might be a bit small, but they've got everything you need: a fridge, desk, comfy bed, and a decent bathroom. It's also nice and quiet. Having the free city bus right outside is a huge plus. No lift, which was a bit of a hassle for me with my back issue, but that's on me to check next time. The hosts are top-notch – super friendly and welcoming, probably the best we've met during our three months of travel. Considering the price, you're getting a lot for your money here.

Booked 2 bedroom apartment but was given 3 bedrooms instead. King size bed and single bedded rooms have windows, queen size bed without windows. All rooms have air conditioning. Room allocated didnt have a proper dining area, had 3 bar chairs with a small area. Took turns to have our meals. Sofa was great with recliners but too small for family of 4. Bread toaster and all appliances were clean and in order. Short walk to Botanic gardens, Queen Street mall and we were able to walk to South Bank. Free Cityhopper ferries at Riverside Terminal which is within walking distance too. Encountered an usual foggy morning and a fascinating view! Overall a great stay!

Wir liebten unseren Aufenthalt im Stamford Plaza und wir waren dort für etwa 2 Wochen in einer Suite. riesige Zimmer separate Lounge, riesige Kleidung und Badezimmer und die Aussicht war spektakulär. Die Lage ist fabulös und Sie gehen einfach zum Flussfront und alle großen Restaurants sind da. Wir bleiben wieder, wenn wir nach Brisbane reisen.

Nice new hotel, recommend it to my friends. People are nice to help. Lots guests but still managed well. Few safeguards at front door, that’s not usual in AUS hotels, but good.
