We were due to stay here for 3 nights, however checked out after 1 night. Unfortunately we were sharing a room with an incredibly loud snorer, resembling an animal of some sort. Of course, this isn’t the hostels fault, but pairing this with a very bright outdoor light plus a bright fridge light inside the room, I got max. 1.5 hours sleep. I also found one of the reception staff to be rude, as when asking for a blanket at around 9PM, I was told ‘Reception is closed’ whilst he walked away from me. He then reappeared a minute later, and alas reception had not closed. I wouldn’t recommend staying here!!!

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

The Soho Hotel in Brisbane is definitely great value for what you pay. The rooms might be a bit small, but they've got everything you need: a fridge, desk, comfy bed, and a decent bathroom. It's also nice and quiet. Having the free city bus right outside is a huge plus. No lift, which was a bit of a hassle for me with my back issue, but that's on me to check next time. The hosts are top-notch – super friendly and welcoming, probably the best we've met during our three months of travel. Considering the price, you're getting a lot for your money here.

Room is cleaned everyday. Not possible to check in early and at 2pm there would be a long queue at the reception and it goes all the way till the entrance. Calls to Recep takes very long to be answered. I requested for a 30mins late check out but the cleaner opened the door and came in even before my check out timing. Cleaner came knocking again awhile later and Recep also called me prior to me leaving the room even though I had already informed I will be coming down 30mins late. Hotel is located beside a pub so expect that it may be noisy on a Saturday night.

Große Lage, super nahe der Dockside, wo Sie den kostenlosen Cityhopper nach Riverside nehmen können. Wandern Entfernung zum Fortitude Valley über die Geschichte Brücke, die super schön ist, einen Spaziergang zu machen. In der Nähe befindet sich eine Manhattan-Pizza - perfekt für die Einnahmen, eine super leckere französische Backwaren Christina Jacques Bakery und vieles zu essen. Free Parkplatz war, was ich benötigt habe, daher habe ich den Punkt gewählt, ich kehre typischerweise um 5-6pm zurück und es gibt noch viele verfügbar. Warm Dusche sind leicht mit regulierbarem Wasserdruck, gut gemacht. Chromecast verfügbar, Zimmergröße ist gut, um 2 große Taschen mit viel Raum links zu passen. Frühstück ist gut, es ist ala-carte, die Lebensmittelverschwendung verringert, sie ermöglichen sogar Einnahmen für Kaffee und Essen, wenn ich nicht Zeit hatte, zu essen für mein Frühstück. Guter Ort, nach einem Tag der Sicht zu ruhen. Sehr wert für Geld und wahr für Fotos.

Wasn’t planning on staying here, but was bumped to this accomodation at the last minute by Clix. So a bit disappointed as we were staying at one of their other buildings which was closer to restaurants etc and had a better pool. The apartment was clean and looked out over the hills and river, the bed was comfortable. Could have done with more kitchen utensils like a baking tray for starters. Stove had a wok burner but no wok or fry pan. Tiny wash basin with no side bench so had to put stuff on floor. Shower door handle had coroded and needs replacing. Disappointed in the pool, even though technically out doors it was all under cover thus no sun light so a bit chilly as it acted as a wind tunnel. Also was on 22nd floor and could still hear trains that ran past building.

Wir waren für drei Nächte im 5. OG in Tower 3 zu einer Art Innenhof. Auf den ersten Blick sieht alles sauber aus, bis man es anfasst, oder das Licht einschaltet: Es ist lediglich oberflächlich sauber. Alle Oberflächen sind etwas staubig oder dreckig: Am Schlimmsten waren die Lüftungsauslässe, aber auch der Ventilator über dem Bett oder der Tisch daneben sowie Schrankfächer etc. Im Schrank fanden wir neben Haaren Shorts vom Vorgänger. Auch auf dem Bullauge der Waschmaschine konnte ich in der Staubschicht schreiben und auch das Trocknersieb war ebenfalls war sehr staubig. Auf der Bettwäsche waren mehrere Flecken, evtl. Stockflecken. Wir hatten nur ein Trinkglas im Zimmer und haben sofort Bescheid gegeben, aber es kam innerhalb von drei Tagen kein Ersatz, obwohl sie es sofort liefern lassen wollten. Generell ist das Zimmer sehr duster und selbst bei strahlendem Sonnenschein draußen hat man drinnen das Gefühl von Dämmerung. Die Klimaanlage/Lüftung konnten wir kaum nutzen, da ein sehr starker Essensgeruch heraus kam, der einem die Luft nahm. Zum Glück ließ sich das Fenster kippen. Auch ansonsten war sie uns viel zu stark eingestellt und pustete direkt auf das Bett. Man hat zwar eine gut eingerichtete Küche, aber im Zimmer nur einen Stuhl für 2 Personen und keine Möglichkeit zu essen, außer im Bett. Dem Bett gegenüber hängt ein riesiger Fernseher. Das Bad mit Waschmaschine hat leider eine Fehlkonstruktion: Die Verkleidung (Schrank) lässt sich nur bei geschlossener Badtüre öffnen, wodurch die Waschmaschinentür nicht offen bleiben kann zum lüften und stinkt. Außerdem gibt es nur ein einziges winziges Handtuch sowie je ein Badetuch pro Person, ein größeres oder zweites Handtuch wäre schön gewesen, ebenfalls Handtuchhaken. Es gibt verteilt auf die einzelnen Tower ein kleines Gym, einen Pool, eine Sauna und mehrere BBQ Möglichkeiten, die gut aussehen. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist nur wenige Minuten von diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants entfernt, über die Brücke in 15-20 Minuten in der City. Wären die Zimmer sauber und heller wäre es eine gute Unterkunft, so waren wir für die hohen Preise sehr enttäuscht und tlw. angeekelt.

Danny war sehr professionell, freundlich, willkommen und hilfreich während meiner Buchung per Telefon und meine Ein- und Auscheckung. 5 Sterne für den Kundenservice *** Die Reinigungsmittel waren freundlich und hilfreich, als ich ein Bad-Plug benötigte und sogar gab mir einige zusätzliche Badsalze. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich, Sie können die Reinigungspersonal-Präsenz sagen. Gut gemacht Best Western!

Was für einen fantastischen Ort für einen Stadturlaub. So eine gute Lage und schöne Zimmer. Der zusätzliche Bonus eines Dachpools, Sauna und Dampfraum machten unsere Mädchen Reise komplett. Wir wurden für die Wahl für Abendessen im Komplex verdreht. Sehr empfohlen und ich werde definitiv zurück sein

Unser Aufenthalt war eine Nacht für einen Familienanlass, also suchten wir nur nach einfachen, sauberen Einrichtungen. Uns hat gefallen, dass es klimatisiert war und eine Mikrowelle, einen Toaster und eine Kanne hatte. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet mit einfachem Zugang zu Geschäften, Kinos usw. Und das Hotel stand bei Bedarf für Mahlzeiten zur Verfügung. Ich hätte mir ein paar Ersatzkissen gewünscht, aber es gab ein Einzelbett, das wir nicht benutzten, also haben wir dieses Kissen benutzt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bett war fest.
