Stayed in a family room (2 adults and teenager) and given some of the negative reviews, was a little concerned. We needn't have been; the room had a sea view, was spotlessly clean, beds comfy, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. The continental breakfast (clearly indicated) was plentiful and replenished often. Ham, cheese, croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. Great coffee too. Above all, staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived in Brighton at 10am and they were more than happy for us to drop our bags. A peaceful location, close to the beach and some great eating places and pubs close by. We booked for one night, but were so impressed, we stayed another. Will book again for future stays in Brighton.

Room 1a was a small double in need of a deep clean. However this was not a distraction on the friendly staff and reasonable breakfast - a basic continental - but filled a hole. Great location but Brighton is flooded with hotels so this is not a unique selling point. It was adequate for a nights sleep but to be honest the hotel needs a massive refurb and a review on cleaning (in all the corners). Nice coffee by the way.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. It is only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Brighton along the front. The staff let us check in early and they stored our bags when we checked out the next day, both of which was very helpful. The hotel looks like it has had some work done recently to improve it, the showers looked new , new shiny taps and mastic around the sinks. Parts of the hotel still look a little tired. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room (10) was at the top of the hotel , there were 8 flights of stairs so would not be any good for anyone unfit, go for a lower number for fewer stairs. Breakfast is included - croissants, toast, cereal, ham, cheese, fruit and yogurts, tea and coffee. We paid £65 for a twin room for the night with breakfast, which for central Brighton is very good value. A lovely traditional seaside bed and breakfast which I would recommend.

Very clean. Nice white linen and towels. Shampoo and shower gel. Teas, coffees and biscuits in the room. Polite and welcoming staff. Great position in Brighton. Good value, as 4 friends shared a family room. Very good selection for breakfast.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and there if u need anything. The hotel is clean and tidy and well looked after. The beds are comfortable and always clean. The rooms are spacious and easy accessible. Staff look after their guests with pride and passion.

2nd time staying at the Queensbury. Twin room with ensuite was comfortable and well equipped. Good radiator, plenty of tea and coffee, TV. Clean room and clean ensuite. Friendly and relaxed check in, check out and other interactions with staff. Excellent continental breakfast spread with cheese and ham, pastries, fruit etc. Close to the centre of Brighton and the seafront, 15 min walk to the train station, great public transport links close by. Wonderful stay, excellent value for money - will definitely return!

We had a family room for four adults which was very spacious and had everything we needed including a mini fridge...The beds were extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom were immaculate... Continental breakfast was included in the price and was a perfect way to start the day
