The best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. The rooms and beds - a separate love Nowhere else have I found such comfortable and ergonomically correct beds Not only a locker, shelf, lamp and socket, but also a large amount of space on the side of the bed where you can conveniently lay out your things (and hide your backpack in a large locker under the bed) No mess and always clean. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! 1. Отель находится от центральной набережной в 20 минутах ходьбы, чтобы дойти до центра вам надо сначала подняться в горку, а потом спуститься. Если на центральной набережной сплошная стройка, то возле отеля тихо и спокойно. Также из отеля открывается отличный вид на бухту. 2. Отель предлагает экскурсии, билеты на автобусы и лимузины, можно покушать и любоваться пейзажами на последнем этаже. Можно отдать вещи в стирку. Предлагается аренда мотобайков. 3. Цена номеров очень привлекательная, в центре за такой номер с видом на стройку с вас возьмут в два раза больше. В цену номера входит простой завтрак. Как итог: в 2025 это один из лучших вариантов на Катба в своей ценовой категории.

For example, when I mentioned that the WiFi signal was weak and unstable during check-in, the hotel manager arranged for a room change. Upon inquiry, I discovered that the room allocation and distance would affect WiFi reception. The hotel staff then suggested that for future stays, I could make a note requesting a room with better WiFi reception. This stay from October 3rd to October 9th was also quite good. Unfortunately, my wife and I only learned about the hotel's structural issues on October 7th, and since my wife had too much luggage, we didn't want to change rooms again. We will be staying again soon in the future.

Das Hotel ist toll. Safari-Fahrzeuge fahren vom Zentrum für 10.000 Baht ab. Der Strand ist wunderschön, das Frühstück ist ordentlich, mit Rührei, Gebäck und einer großen Auswahl an vietnamesischen Gerichten. Man fährt garantiert nicht hungrig ab (nur die Croissants schmeckten mir etwas nach Margarine, und das war deutlich zu schmecken). Es gibt wunderschöne Hängebrücken und einen Innenpool, aber der Infinity-Pool war leider außer Betrieb. Das Hotelrestaurant ist gut, mit leckeren Frühlingsrollen und Pasta. Es sieht in echt sogar noch besser aus als auf den Fotos.

The hotel is located in a fantastic and beautiful place, in a small village surrounded by mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful here. The rooms meet all the basic requirements, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the food is delicious.

Nice HomeStay in the mountains. The facilities were good and the owners hired us scooters and arrange for our transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba. They had some books, cards and board games available. The tables around the pool were nice to have food or a drink around. The location is out of town, so not as many food options available but the homestay offers okay food - the banana pancakes were nice. The room was spacious, cold aircon and hot water with a little balcony which was nice. It was excellent value for money and very easy to get to the nation park and caves from on a scooter ☺️ If you book any day tours, they will pick you up from the hotel too. The boat tour was enjoyable - we booked through GetYourGuide, but the homestay also offers tours as well.

Es gibt kostenlose Elektroautos, es gibt Frühstück, es kann einfach chinesisch kommunizieren. Das einzige schlechte ist, wenn man in der Nähe des Hotels geht. Es gibt vier Hunde in der Nähe, ohne Nacken, Feinde, kein Elektrofahrzeug, weil das Elektrofahrzeug aus der Hintertür kommt.

Das Hotel ist für ein paar Tage völlig in Ordnung! Ausstattung ist basic. Das einzig, was ein wenig gestört hat, waren einige kleine Kakerlaken im Badezimmer und auf dem Boden sind kleine Viecher rumgelaufen. Das Frühstück war gut und für jeden was dabei. Fitnessraum war klein, aber sehr gut. Die Geräte sind neu und man kann da gut trainieren. Die Aussicht wurde im Herbst 2024 leider von einer großen Baustelle getrübt, die auch entsprechend lärmt.

Der kleine Bruder der Rezeption ist sehr nett, vermietet ein Motorrad 100k und es gibt auch vieles zu essen, aber das Frühstück ist in der letzten Zeit nicht mehr.

Da die Fähren wegen eines Taifuns nicht fuhren, brauchte ich dringend eine Unterkunft und fand dieses Hotel kurzfristig. Meine Bewertung basiert auf dem Preis für vietnamesische Verhältnisse: Das Zimmer ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet und das Bett bequem, allerdings empfand ich die Decke als recht dünn. Die Speisekarte war nur auf Vietnamesisch. Es gab günstige Snacks und Getränke im Zimmer, aber ich war skeptisch, was das Flaschenwasser anging, da es bereits geöffnet war. Ich fragte mich, ob es nur nachgefüllt worden war. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war eher klein, und das englische Frühstück, das ich bekam, wirkte auf mich wie eine Sparmaßnahme: Statt Speck gab es Schinken. Angesichts des Preises hatte ich in mancher Hinsicht eine bessere Qualität erwartet. Trotzdem bin ich dankbar für die Unterkunft, als ich festsaß. In der Nähe gibt es Restaurants, eine sehr gute Western-Bar mit leckerem Essen und nette vietnamesische Fischrestaurants. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar.
