"Las habitaciones son muy bonitas, muy bien decoradas y cómodas. La habitación tiene cafetera la cual es muy útil para quienes les gusta el café si salir de la habitación como a nosotros.
La atención de las chicas que trabajan ahí es excepcional.
La única cosa negativa es la insonorización de la habitación. A nosotros nos tocó una habitación en planta baja y se escuchaba todo de la zona común así que dependerá de la suerte que tengan con los vecinos que les toquen. Nosotros pudimos dormir bastante bien pero con tapones o con auriculares noise cancelling."

GGastnutzerNice hotel, close to most tourist spots, including bars and restaurants. Staff were good, room was large but more expensive than Mexico City in terms of value.
WIFI was spotty, breakfast was not great, but good enough to start the day off with.
They need to do some basic maintenance in bathrooms, toilet handle inside tank and shower-head had a-lot of calcium buildup that could be fixed with replacement or vinegar and baking soda.

AAnonymer BenutzerThis is a charming family-run hotel in Oaxaca. The place is spotless, with a great rooftop for breakfast—delicious, cheap, and with free coffee in the morning! The staff were super friendly and always smiling.
I know photos doesn’t look great but it’s much, much nicer in real!
The only minor issue is the main door at night—it’s locked, so you’ll need to knock and might wait a bit if the staff are asleep. Other than that, it’s clean, affordable, and full of character. Highly recommend!

LLongBuiBecino in Oaxaca is amazing. The service is truly outstanding, everyone is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond. The hotel’s peaceful, beautifully designed spaces make it such a relaxing stay. Breakfast is great too. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Their bakery is also first class, so good!

GGastnutzerCasa Mayo ist alles über kleine Details, alles war so gemütlich, dass wir uns sofort in den Ort verliebt fühlten. Sheny war wunderschön und sehr professionell. Das Frühstück war erstaunlich.

GGeriShaikhHotel wasn't too bad for our first night. They give one small bottle of water and expect clients to get more water from their ”filtered” water dispenser, which was completely empty and didn't get refilled until the following evening when we no longer needed it. The location is not walkable to any stores, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. You need to get a taxi to go anywhere.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and that was a plus.
The size of the room was all right. The beds were very comfortable. Good lighting in the room. Good size bathroom. Nice view of city below during night hours.
The biggest negative was the AC on our second and last night was leaking onto the bed. Had to keep it off all night and bear the discomfort af a warmer temp as windows don't open.
Water pressure was really good; unfortunately, the hot water isn't consistent and would keep fluctuating between hot and cold.
I do not think the value was good considering all the negatives. I wouldn't return to this hotel.

GGastnutzerWir besuchten Oaxaca City im September 2025 und blieben eine Woche in La Catrina de Alcalá. Wir hatten ein Königszimmer hinten im Gebäude. Das Zimmer war groß mit viel Zimmer, um alle unsere Artikel zu lagern (Kleidung, Toiletten, Backpacks, Umbrüllen, etc.) und war sehr ruhig. Das Bett war komfortabel und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Das mitgelieferte Frühstück war kontinental, so bestellten wir das Menü ein paar Mal aus. Alles Essen war lecker und frisch. Ich genoß vor allem die Hühner Mol Tamale. Schließlich war die Lage perfekt! Das Hotel liegt auf einer Fußgängerstraße im Herzen der Stadt. Wir konnten überall gehen! Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv empfehlen und werden auf unsere nächste Reise nach Oaxaca City zurückkehren.
