The interior is creative, colourful, and full of personality—a truly refreshing design. While it lacks a ground-floor reception (which would be helpful for managing luggage), and there are no pool or major facilities, it still offers a pleasant and memorable experience. A bit pricey for what it is, but I’d definitely consider staying here again for the charm and location alone.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta. The service was excellent from start to finish – the staff were always attentive and reliable. The shuttle service in particular stood out: it ran at different hours, always on time without a single delay, and was spotless every ride. Breakfast was a highlight for me – the cappuccino and coffee were especially good, easily some of the best I’ve had on a trip. I also planned a small birthday surprise for my partner, and the hotel staff carried it out beautifully and very discreetly, which made it extra special. The location is great, the pool area is lovely with amazing views, and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay. Overall, it felt like real value for money – a mix of comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return.

Superb traditional Italian hotel, located in the centre of Sorrento, less than one minute walk from Piazza Tasso. The hotel was very comfortable and rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. There is an outside swimming pool and bar, with always plenty of sunbeds available, so no need to be up at 6.30am to reserve your place. The inclusive buffet breakfast was particularly good. There was an extensive choice of scrambled egg, pancakes, cereals, smoked salmon, yoghurts etc, as well as a delicious selection of home made cakes and pastries. For me, the stand out point was definitely how friendly all the staff at the hotel were. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to please.

The place is only 10 minutes from central station of Sorrento, calm area but have very good restaurant 3minut walk and little shop for daily needs . Ou room has nice views, comfortable bed, And Tv plus little fridge if you need to put cold things , with the cute bathroom we have everything we needs. Is really like boutique hotel with three rooms and big enough dining room it make perfect getaway time , not crowded just enough to have nice little chats with other guests. What’s more our host Carmela is a very kind ,attentive and helpful person , she provides us with all information about the town and help us with what we need. Will definitely back again and recommend to anyone who wants to come to Sorrento . We have very enjoyable time and relaxing, specially beautiful sunsets views with glass of cold wine it’s perfect to end the hot summer day.

Ich persönlich finde, dass das günstigste Hotel in Sorento zu günstig ist, der Preis ist sehr angemessen, die kleinen Balkone sind sehr gut, so gerne hier sehen, wie die Sonne ausfällt! Das Hotel ist auf der Wolke, es muss Autofahren oder ein Hotel fahren, um ein Auto zu besorgen. Sie müssen aufmerksam machen, dass das Hotel die Beförderungszeiten besorgt hat, sehr rechtzeitig, wenn es verpasst wird, ohne Auto zu fahren, der Verkehr ist schwieriger. Der Nachteil ist, dass die Isolierung des Zimmers hier nicht sehr gut ist, und es ist leicht, die Stimme des Gesprächs in der Nähe zu hören.

Hotel itself is pretty standard as what you would expect from any big chain hotels, but service was definitely not up to par. We were told there would be valet service - there was none. The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.

Meerblick Hotel. 3 Sternen aber mit schönem Pool, Meerblick Sitzplatz für Gäste zu entspannen. Handwasch , Haartrockner , kleines Badezimmer. Dusche sehr eng, aber manuell. Locker. Air con. Zimmergröße ( reserviert Standered) ok. 15M ! Manageable Zimmerreinigung gut . Bed komfortabel ! Tafel. Alles in 3 Sternen ist geistig buchbar ! Jetzt Negative Punkte . Sie können nicht lange schlafen. Max 8-9am. Als Auscheck ist 10.30am max. BF 7/10. Als andere Gäste beginnen Schließtüren zu gehen, so dass Sie sie hören. Es ist ein zwei Geschichte Hotel mit Treppen. Kein Aufzug. Aber hat Hilfe, um Ihr Gepäck in die Zimmer zu nehmen. Versuchen Sie, Zimmer im 1. Stock zu nehmen. Wenn u r über 55 plus. Wir kamen um 10:30 Uhr an und erfuhren, dass der Check-in um 15:00 Uhr sei. Wir fragten zweimal nach, weil wir dachten, es sei später als üblich. Die Dame mit der Brille bestand darauf, es sei 15:00 Uhr. Als wir später online nachschauten, fanden wir heraus, dass es nach 14:30 Uhr war. Wenn das Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, hätte sie es einfach sagen können, anstatt uns in die Irre zu führen. Zweitens war dies das einzige Hotel in ganz Italien, das nicht einmal kostenlose Wasserflaschen anbot. Sie finden sie in der Minibar und sie kosten 3 Euro. Zur Ausstattung gehörten Pappbecher und kleine Fläschchen Duschgel/Shampoo, die am nächsten Tag nicht ersetzt wurden, sodass wir mit dem bisschen Seife vorliebnehmen mussten, das noch übrig war. Das Bett war schrecklich zusammengewürfelt. Im Badezimmer war in vielen Ecken Schimmel, die Wände waren schmutzig und wirkten, als wäre es seit Jahren nicht mehr gründlich geputzt worden. Das Gute war, dass es Ersatzkissen und einen Balkon mit Tisch und Stuhl gab. Das Frühstück war eines der besseren, die wir in Italien hatten. Die Lage war fantastisch, 1 km zum Hafen und es gab einen Lebensmittelladen in der Nähe. Der Preis war auch angemessen (250 Euro pro Nacht), als wir buchten. Wir überlegten jedoch, unseren Aufenthalt zu verlängern, und überprüften zwei Wochen vor unserer Ankunft, dass der Preis um über 50 % gestiegen war. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war es meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr wert.

We stayed 3 nights at Santa Fortunata Village in Dodome Tent No. 9 and had a pleasant experience overall. The village is located a bit outside of Sorrento town, but since we were driving, the distance wasn’t an issue. For those not driving, they do offer a buggy service, which is convenient. Our tent didn’t have the best view, but we were still able to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, with no disturbances from other campers. The bed was comfortable, and the tent included a plug point and two USB ports. However, there were no built-in lights, so we recommend bringing your own portable USB light. There were ants on the ground, but it wasn’t a major problem. The parking lot was spacious, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were a short walk away. Showers had hot water, and there were plenty of basins and mirrors available. The provided hair dryer was quite weak, so it’s better to bring your own if needed. The village also has mini marts and a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant once—it was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer excursions as well, though we had already planned our own itinerary. All in all, it was a comfortable and quiet glamping experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

stayed here with a friend and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk from the main street, which made it convenient yet peaceful. The room had a fantastic view, which we really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure — something we appreciated after long days of exploring. However, while the shower was advertised as having fancy jet options, none of them worked. This feature really shouldn't be promoted if it's not functional. The room was marketed as a deluxe bedroom, but in reality, it's a standard double room without any frills. We would’ve preferred if expectations were set more accurately — under-promising and over-delivering always makes for a better guest experience. Breakfast was basic and nothing to rave about, though we weren’t expecting much there, so no big disappointment. All in all, it’s a solid option for a short stay. But i won't be recommending for family or friends. Tbere are better option elsewhere. Just need to be booked in advance 😊
